AROD, I am watching this video as I type this and would love the HSM upper filter you pulled off. I love your content and more so your knowledge and willingness to share it with everyone.
The ‘13 year model dually has a different bracket on the transmission that the kit bracket is put behind. It will not allow for the outward line to be tightened at the filter, so it must be fully tightened prior to installing to the transmission. Not even a crow’s foot from in front of it will tighten the fitting as the bracket has a curved end that prohibits it. Also, on my year model, the brackets can’t be swapped around.
My 16 on has 2 lines coming out it doesn’t have that little one on the side of the upper block you installed so where does that little line hook in at thanks
Not to be negative or anything, but are the stock motorcraft filters that bad? Really, are they garbage? Will any of this for sure prevent motor from anything bad?
@@PowerStrokeTechTalkwARod I get that, I have my own remodeling business everyone’s house comes first before mine. lol Thanks for all the great videos keep up the great work!!! We all appreciate it!!
How would I go about getting the part numbers for getting the massage seat parts for my 23 king ranch with the 18 speaker sound system, people say you need the wiring harness for the 18 speaker? Thanks
I’ve been going back and forth between the relocation kit and the conversion kit from HSM, is the only major difference between the two, the ease of the filter change from below?
Having checked the notes and viewer comments, do you have the part number for the Donaldson primary fuel filter shown in the video. The quick video pan of that filter was just fast enough to not have the part number clear enough to capture. Thanks.
Love the super duty content!!! Glad to see your keeping on. If your bored and need some ideas for content, aluma duty power steering flush how to would be awesome!
Hi ARod quick question. I am looking at a 2018 f350 with 104,000 miles from Utah. What things should I look for? Also if do get it what are things I can do to keep it healthy? I have an 2005 Cummins so no emissions. The truck appears clean but I have not actually drove it yet. Any help would be great. Thanks Adrian
So I need to replace the fuel filter with an easier and better option. Should I look into getting a cp4 disaster prevention kit? Could I just run hot shots secret lubricity additive? Sorry just trying to see if this something I want to buy. The other issue is don’t tow but maybe once twice a year. I know that can be a bigger issue with the newer diesels and emissions.
Hmm. Seems like you use the same Baldwin filter they did with their prior up-top kit and it doesn't eliminate the factory fuel filter bucket/holder up top which would free up space. So Im here wondering why spend the $ on this? Maybe if you are 💯 stock already and want a regular type filter and be able to do both on your back at the same time.
HSM should honestly use different clamps on their kits Had my kit for exactly one year and started leaking diesel everywhere (have pictures and video to show the amount of fuel leaking) Cut that clamp off, went to a regular screw hose clamp… problem solved
Yea, my HSM lower replacement aluminum bowl to fix the known to break plastic stock one, was on 6mo and started to leak on my return from Thanksgiving last year. Was never leaking before. Was running down the sides from up top. Couldn't tighten more without risk of breaking the stock upper part on the frame. Lucky I had the original plastic lower bottom to swap back in.
CHECK this one OUT! ua-cam.com/video/HNQSkb-pito/v-deo.html
What a nice upgrade and install AROD!!! Always preferred the filters underneath. You definitely take pride in your FORDS!!
What a great install!
You hit that Vegas Vacation line 😂😂😂 I see you PTT
Top notch work👍🏻👍🏻
Nice work fella 👍👍
Doodley doo……. Hang on I thought that was Rays channel 🤣🤣🤣
Nice upgrade!
I’ve had both of those kits and really like having it down by the transmission

Maybe the compressor....
What are the advantages to moving the upper fuel filter to underneath the truck?
Asking for a friend.
To have no filters under hood

Hellooo, did you ever make the video of installing the multi contour seats??

How Can I get in touch with you regarding Forescan and knowing where to find the certain things I want to adjust/change?

Yepppp
In that case, I’ll save the money and put it towards the lower fuel filter upgrade.

$489 to h&s for this kit is a lot of money. Is it better than stock?
I believe so yes

It's way bigger than the filter up top
I went to HMS website and I don't see anything filter related. Am I doing something wrong ???
