I’ve had a 2 ‘18 GTs, and my current stock 5.0 F150 First car, a base model, that got a solo performance axle back muffler delete, fantastic! Second one was a PP car with the active exhaust, and resonator delete, even better! Sounds like your truck has that same sound I love, friggin fantastic, the coyote just sounds so good
I’ve always wanted a mustang with the 5.0, but with the way winters are in the northeast, it only made sense for me to get an F150 5.0 with 4WD instead so I can drive it all year long unlike a mustang with RWD. It’s awesome that you got to experience both the pony and truck. I’d take take a Mustang over my truck any day.
Sounds amazing!!! How often do these grow legs? Where I live I'd worry when I came out in the morning it would all be gone since I can't park in a garage.
V8 Truck engines always sound different than their counterpart sports car variants. F150 and Mustangs, Silverados and Corvettes/camaros. Ram 1500 and dodge charger/challenger
Borla ATAK is loud itself, but the long tube headers significantly make it louder, because the stock exhaust manifolds on f150’s are ridiculously restrictive in sound and airflow. I’ve only had the Borla ATAK on my truck for a few weeks until I got the headers installed, was a night and day difference. Still recommend the ATAK though!
You get what you pay for. Build quality is top notch, will never rust and sounds incredible. It’s worth it for me, but I can see why it wouldn’t be for others.
About $3400 for the headers and catback, plus add $400 for headers install and $50 for catback install (my friend who’s a mechanic did the install on both, so he gave me a huge discount. Expect to pay 50% or more for install at a shop) More or less, about $3900 in my case.
Truck engine variants sound different than their sports car counterpart, unless you add long tube headers and other FBO mods. See exhaust vids for F150 5.0 and Mustang 5.0. Chevy Silverado/Gmc Sierra 6.2 and Chevy Camaro SS 6.2, Corvette 6.2. Ram 2500 6.4 and Dodge Challenger 6.4, etc
Borlas alone aren’t that loud they make the exhaust tone sound like a truck rather than a sports/muscle car. You’d need long tube headers for it to sound more like a Mustang 5.0
I wanted to buy a Mustang GT 5.0 but since I live in the north east, it only made sense to buy an F150 5.0 instead that has 4WD so I can drive it all year long especially in the winter unlike the Mustang. For an exhaust to “sound good” is subjective and is based on opinion, so to each their own. Thanks for watching
Fucking idiot the truck is more expensive 😂😂😂😂. Paid 47k for my 2022 fx4 5.0 RCSB full options. Why would you want a mustang when you can have a 4wd truck with the same motor as the mustang? And you will have a pussy magnet not a dick magnet.
This is it, I found the sound that I want
Go for it!

And I agree, coyotes sound great, especially with a solid exhaust system, like kooks, borla, Corsa, etc
Sounds incredible!
Thanks! Check out my other exhaust vids
Dayum that sounds good
That sounds glorious. Holy shit.
Thanks! Check out my other exhaust videos, I’ve got plenty
Sounds badass bro 👍
Nice!!!👌👌👌
Sounds amazing!!!

Holy shit man yessss
You really cracked the code here!
Stupid expensive Mustang exhaust = mustang sounds… got it.

Holy fuck. Im doin it🥵🥵
I might just have to change to the borla atak like holy shit

Badass🔥
Dude, if I couldn't see the truck, I would expect a stang to come ripping by holy shit!
Holy shit
YASSSSSSS!! FUCKEN BADASS FOSHOO!!!!
Agreed!
Exhaust costs way too damn much for gas trucks.

Do you need a tune when you install catted LT headers?
yes, definitely a requirement
When you say dual catback meaning you got two ataks on it?
No, dual tips
Yo this sounds great. What mods do you have?
Kooks catted long tube headers, Borla atak dual catback, spectre cold air intake, and oz tune
Switched out the spectre cold air intake, and installed PMAS CAI
@@Eli5.0was there a difference going from spectre to pmas?
PMAS is a much better flowing cai!@@Eli5.0
How much did that setup cost?

How are you shifting?
Truck has Manual mode
What size headers 178 or 2 inch
1-7/8”
Still have cats?
It literally says "Catted" 🤨
Yes catted
Still have cats and resonator or did you take them off. Mf is loud as hell lol sounds mean
hi flow cats and no resonator
@@Eli5.0 thanks
Did you put a resonator delete pipe in ? Or did you have custom work at a shop to remove it?
nice but u shoulda ripped it...
Baaaaadasssssss
Much appreciated
sounds like a Hyundai
What engine on a Hyundai?
Hmmm yes… this 5.0 sounds like a 5.0….

I have a borla atak and it does not sound like this u need long tube headers
Way too loud lol,
No such thing as too loud 😭
sounds terrible, it sounds like there is no crossover.
To each his own 😝
When you cant afford a ford mustang gt so buy a use truck with a 5.0 and try to make sound good but cant...

F150s sound better than the gt anyway so. Mustangs sound too raspy. F150s have the deeper v8 sound.
