This needs to go to court. Too often judgments are rendered because of internet rumor, half truths, psuedo-documentaries, and he said/they said. Court. Let everything come out. There've been lots of rumor that Marvel is very aggressive with animation and sfx staff to get their projects done. Nothing wrong with that unless it crosses the line. That's what needs to be determined in court.
One hundred percent. The accused have the right to confront their accusers in court. And guilty people don't typically seek hearings, like he is. What's telling is that Disney doesn't want that.
If half of what he is saying is truth, Disney will not let this go to court. The legal discovery alone will irrevocably tarnish the brand at a time when the DCEU will be coming online and they will be shopping Disney around for a buyer. Beau Demayo is about to get hella paid!
I like his X-men 97 work but this is not the 1st time his actions / misconduct has got him removed from a project. Look into his past and you’ll see some comments from former work peers about similar issues
I was just going to comment this, could someone have blown an incident out of proportion? Sure, but the fact this isn't the first time he's been removed from projects for this exact reason is very telling.
He's saying very clearly and forcefully that he wants this to go to court. Whether you think he's in the wrong or not, why shouldn't that happen? Doesn't the accused have that right? Besides, in my experience guilty people usually try to stop a trial.
From what I’ve read, most of what he stated can’t really be proven or disproven, but what he stands accused of, if ever proven true, far surpasses anything he has pointed out. Thank you Michael!
Wow! It might get worse now, just think about it. Canceled Blade, fired Beau, fired Majors and didn’t want to rehire Black Panther??? Honestly not looking good.
They hired a kid to be a new bp, didn't rehire majors because that story line was crap. People hated most of his performances except Loki which still didn't go well. And Beau is a creep. You reaching like stretch Armstrong on this one.

And Majors guilty or not was still found guilty. They did the smart thing there. And the technically recasted without recasting T'Challa. In a beautiful post credit scene. Which is also a nice thing. I tend to believe what he is saying. I know people that work behind the scenes at Disney and they have shared similar sentiments. Plus all of the issues they have been having with Blade…. At the end of the day, Disney is a giant corporation that is filled with people with ill intent just like any corporation.

Marvel comics have always been in forefront of social issues if you look back at the actual comics but those issues were not the lead element, they were what made the otherwise superhuman beings - very human. There is a balancing act where you’re not changing the story into a social narrative barely hidden by a few comic powers. Social issues when done correctly provide complexity to a comic but In my opinion the comic nature should always remain forefront.

There is always some truth in claims like this but it is also possible for 2 things to be true too. Also take into account that Disney is VERY CONSERVATIVE on how they approach all things.
I just want a cool new animated series to come out that doesn’t have any misconduct and drama attached to it. It really shouldn’t be so hard for people to just be decent to each other.
