@MomoTheBellyDancer yes then they watch another video and are un-confused. Anyone who only watches ONE HAINBACH video? They are already confused too much, i fear :)
i dont mean to be off topic but does someone know a way to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my password. I would love any help you can give me
Great demo! I bought this pedal as soon as it came out. After learning the relatively odd toolset it provides, it is surprisingly intuitive, interactive, and immensely satisfying. I adore the MOOD. Also, can’t wait for Blooper to come out. I know I’ll get a lot of use from both.
Thank you! This is such a great review. Love the comments on what you like AND what doesn’t work for you. I wish more sponsored pedal reviews/demos were like this. There is nothing wrong with mentioning a few things that don’t work for you! Cheers!
I love Chase Bliss pedals!! I’ve wanted one for some time now. The Thermae is number 1 on my wishlist, and I’ve been following the Knobs videos of their BLooper in development. This Mood pedal looks like another MUST HAVE
It's been hard to comment as of late because I've just been at a loss for words but I just have to say, this is another crown jewel on Chase Bliss' collection.
Hi and thanks to you and Chase Bliss for the video. The sounds were amazing and beautiful. I can't wait to get my MOOD. I hope they don't sell out. This sounds like a real winner as I dabble in both guitar and synth. AWESOME!!!
The pink noise fade to beeping would have been perfect for Alien: Isolation. I was already impressed by Mood, but your demo video went so far in depth with it, now I want one.
M O O D™ is a two channel granular micro-looper / delay. Designed to be playful and immediate, it is a study of interaction. M O O D™ is internally collaborative, allowing audio to freely pass back and forth between its two sides, evolving and transforming over time. Drolo FX is behind the loop channel, a collection of always-listening micro-loopers, and Old Blood Noise Endeavors offer us the wet channel, a suite of live spatial effects. 3 different options for how the channels are internally routed. Run a time-stretched loop through a cloud of delay taps, re-record it and carry on. Overdub, freeze, dissolve, smear. The device’s heart is the clock control, which slows or accelerates both sides simultaneously in harmonized steps. Instantly turn a loop into rolling chirps, or divide a reverb down into atmospheric noise. And naturally, we have full MIDI, dip-switch, and preset implementation.
Great video as usual. For me the MOOD sounds like a MWFX Judder joins a Zoom MS-70 CDR for doing some crazy stuff together. I need to try out this combination soon :-D
This is a dumb thing to focus on, but the camera's rolling shutter effect on the Microfreak's flickering lights is really neat. Also, this is a neat pedal. I get all the hype about it now.
And I was convinced you had the new Chase Bliss Blooper with you in Speyer, haha - I stand corrected, couldn't be more happy about it! Very sad that I had to leave early then, it was a great & special evening for me!
@@Hainbach There will be a next time for sure! Might be able to make it up north towards Berlin more often in the future, would love to have a longer chat at some point!
Reminds me a bit of the Count to 5 which I use often. Not sure if having a lot of overlap at that price point makes much sense for me. Glad to see this pedal used with something other than guitars. Thanks!
This is a great demo, but I think they could hand you the simplest piece of junk and you'd find a way to make cool sounds with it. That track at 16:40 is incredible.
😦🤯🤯 now, this was really powerful, thank you Hainbach🙏🙏🙏,... I haven't checked the price yet, I hope it's affordable for me, cause this one is a must-have!
Wow... all those DIP switches on the back!!!!! It IS lovely, but it's rather expensive... did you get it for free as part of the sponsorship deal? This one of the great advantages of having a successful UA-cam channel that deals with a topic you love. Great video... you did a good demo for Chase Bliss AND played us some very cool music both at the same time.
Thank you! Yeah, it was part of the deal. I have loved everything Chase Bliss put out but could not really afford much of it, so that they asked me to work with their instrument makes me happy.
Aaah the Sony TCM-450DV! That was the first cassette dictaphone I bought, I still use it now and then, although I have a 200-DV that I prefer using in case it gets beaten up. The Mood sounds like a perfect pedal for processing tapes, it's surprisingly difficult trying to find stuff that works with dictaphones.
@@Hainbach Absolutely. Sometimes noisy is good, but it's very contextual and sadly there's usually no middle ground, a lot of guitar effects tend to not deal with the complex signal from a tape very well (I find it a lot with the Boss PS-2 and PS-3 in particular, pitch shifting tends to wash out into big textures very quickly). The Mood manages to be versatile enough from what I'm hearing here.
I'm thinking about getting some portable synth and a foot keyboard to experiment and play along with my bass guitar and plug it into synth's modulation, filter and envelope, but now I see this could get one instead and it's much more compact and very helpful to make some strange new sounds
WOOOW ! This one is amazing. I have been looking out for guitar pedales a lot recently and this one definently get most of my attention so far. Saadly. No money xD :(
I hear tape delay, shimmer , reverb, zoom, pitch shift ,phase, flange ,reverse and bit crusher, all available as separate guitar pedals that would cost a lot more than this
Nice pedal! I'm mostly sold on it. but still lurking on a Ciat-Lombarde 'cause of you. I think I saw Auratone cubes on your "playroom". You should do a post about monitors. I would love to know your thoughs... peace.
Pedal looks awesome, have you played with the Fairfield Circuitry - Shallow Water? Wonder what your thoughts are due to the fact that it mimics tape saturation, wow, flutter etc ... coupled with analog tape ... I wonder if this would be a good combo or be too much ...
"Good to have you back"
Brightens my mood everyday
@MomoTheBellyDancer yes then they watch another video and are un-confused. Anyone who only watches ONE HAINBACH video? They are already confused too much, i fear :)
@MomoTheBellyDancer No problem :) I think its good to have you back, if that helps.
Every day, yes - at least on those days when we get a new video or find an old one - we get a bit of light.
i dont mean to be off topic but does someone know a way to get back into an Instagram account..?

"No idea what i am doing, did not read the manual yet." is how i approach a lot of things in life.
Chase Bliss sponsoring a Hainbach vid? Real recognize real
0:00 Huh, an effects pedal, OK.
8:00 We've just entered the Monolith in 2001: A Space Odyssey!
That piece with the hearing test beep machine was amazing. That's one hell of a peddle.
I think the Soma Lyra-8 just found a new soulmate.
that MOOD-DOOM montage is perfect😆 the sound possibilities seem to be endless with this pedal. suits your music perfectly!
Great demo! I bought this pedal as soon as it came out. After learning the relatively odd toolset it provides, it is surprisingly intuitive, interactive, and immensely satisfying. I adore the MOOD.

These demos are stunning. So much character coming out of that pedal. It compliments your style very well
MOODBACH. ❤️
Chase Bliss + Hainbach = the best kind of mood. Excellent soundscapes m8
Yes! They are the best guys, had a blast when they visited my studio.
Thank you! This is such a great review. Love the comments on what you like AND what doesn’t work for you. I wish more sponsored pedal reviews/demos were like this. There is nothing wrong with mentioning a few things that don’t work for you! Cheers!
I've watched like 5 video demos of this pedal but this is the one that sold it to me. I hope I can make it sound as cool as hainbach does.
I love the Microfreak, and it's great hearing what the MOOD pedal is pulling out of it too ❤️
man, this is amazing...I need one

I immediately thought of blooper when I saw this... how do you think the 2 pedals compare?
Just amazing how you can make beautiful music out of a single bleep! Impressive!
I was going to put a time stamp of one of the mixes, but seriously. Just watch the whole video! Awesomely unique!
Yeah I was planning on time-stamping it but it did not feel right. This is more of an "experience" video than a technical demo.
Hainbach - Chase Bliss chose well - you've done a great job. Immense work!
one cannot do better than to sponsor a hainbach video when it comes to effect pedal manufacturers
You are having an almost criminal level of fun now aren't you? 😂😂😂
Oh yes! That is the perfect way to put it.
😂😂😂
It's been hard to comment as of late because I've just been at a loss for words but I just have to say, this is another crown jewel on Chase Bliss' collection.
Excellent demonstration of the MOOD, you got me hooked. Really need to look this device up.😀
And ordered. Love all three parties involved.
“I used to have a voice” is a masterpiece.
Thank you! I recorded this vocals for a different piece but they did not fit. When I heard that hard kick on this track I knew it had found its home.
I bought one two weeks ago and I'm still learning. This vid expands the possibilities inherent in the pedal by about 1000x. Great work/sounds!
jonesisdying Did you get a nice wooden box with yours like you should have? I didn’t...
@@psilocypher I afraid I did. I think I was lucky - they'd just announced that they were phasing them out. Bad luck :-(
That cinematic vlog style parenthesis is a pure 10 in execution! Nice sounds!
Beauty of an effect pedal. Soooo creative!! Great presentation!!
First thing I Will buy with my first paycheck of my new job. Thanks for introducing me to this pedal!
Hainbach you should totally record some bedroom stories - you've got the most chilled out and relaxing voice :)
Bedtime stories or bedroom stories?? Haha
What a beautiful pedal. You’ve really inspired me with this one. Thank you!

Hello, again. Thanks for the heart. This is just such good music. Really, perfect next to anything like Fripp and Eno or whatever. NICE!!!
Yeah, this is a must have.... Thanks for spending my money!! :)
I really like that you use interesting sources at the input. It's inspiring!

This thing showed up on all my feeds everywhere today. Someone is good at marketing. Filter bubble took my life.
Man, this is so awesome, I got to get me one... great video!
I've never really been tempted by a chase bliss pedal before but I think this is a must have for me
I have to say I have been tempted by all chase bliss pedals since the warped vinyl. This is like dream come true for me.
Thanks for supplying this type of substantial subject material.
Sounds awesome ! very versatile & funky pedal! Great video! :D
Mesmerizing. Thank you for this.
so good!!
Another little piece of art to enjoy, the video is very nice, and Mood makes a lot of moods...
Nice drones made of hum. I`ve never been to musical hums, but I got the idea and bought it fully. Know what, I can enjoy noise!

Overall, this pedal seems quite of fun to play around with.
I thought the same thing!
