While many injectors follow your channel, this is such invaluable information for patients. Love the videos! I really appreciate your in-depth, holistic topics and presentation.
Yes Dr Pierce - I’ve been treating patients for a decade and see this as common practice with older patients. I myself feel younger inside than my chronological age.. I am constantly doing procedures to help the outside alight with the inside . Love your webinars . I’m a huge fan . I bought your anatomy picture and proudly display it in my office .. ps Your wife is Amazing too ! I love the way she questions you .. very very helpful .. thank you for all you do 😊
Love your approach to aesthetics. It allows you to understand why people may feel a need to match their inner being to the outer perception, and makes you understand it isn’t all about vanity, rather an emotional balance for that patient. I will use it always
This is awesome! I knew about the majority of those signs you described but just putting them together like this in a unified sense makes sense. Who knew that all of that put together makes for a happier looking patient? Thanks doc!
Yes!! At the age of 70 I have finally started getting Botox in my “11s” because I was so tired of looking angry! Some day I hope to address the smokers lines (not a smoker) on my upper lip from pursing my lips even in my sleep. Never knew I did that until my sister and I took a road trip. 30 years of marriage my late husband never said a word😢😡🤷🏻♀️
I loved the theme of this and the women just look so relaxed and positive after this! wonderful concept and way of helping them feel better and exude that positive emotion!!! you are my favorite Doctor! wish I could go to you but not in proximity
Thank you for your videos. I'm a nursing student and it's my dream to become a great cosmetic injector in the field of aesthetic medicine. Appreciate your outlook and expertise also very interested in following you throughout my journey. Thank you for the random message arrival in my email and looking forward to the webinar I signed up to. Love the psychological aspect I 100% agree with what you are saying in this video.
I have never let them do treatment of any kind until now. I have consulted and I have been close. I am 60 years old and now with your presentation I realize why: because I don't want to change, I don't want to be "more beautiful", but I want to be treated exactly as you describe: to be a good version of myself. It's not getting older that bothers me, it's looking sad and tired (when i not).
wish you were in my area, because I love the way you are trying to restore facial expression. I would certainly become your patient if it was not to far away (live in Germany)
utterly brilliant sir. I am a gp and comedian and am very interested in communication skills. I think this video will put an excellent reframe on my aesthetic consultations looking forward!
Another great video and GREAT examples...both women shown were naturally stunning and aging well, but a few subtle tweaks really made a difference. The forehead volume issue is something I've recently become interested in...this deepened my interest. Thank you!
This is the best video i have watched on anti aging fillers and botox. Even tho its about fillers not tox i can see how the combination of both could be incredibly beneficial. You are an amazing teacher. Thank you!
LOVE this video and your perspective! It rings of capital “T” Truth to me and I’m intensely grateful for the increased gentleness I now have towards myself for even THINKING of doing some sort of procedure - THANK YOU! (I’m not sure I will but at least my decision making process won’t have as much self-judgement and fear as before - which means I can more likely make a decision I’ll be happy with). And, just because I see some other comments about it and additional feedback might be appreciated…. I think I prefer the Q&A format you have done with Miranda… maybe this is b/c I am someone who asks a lot of questions so it resonates for me. Maybe it’s b/c I’m tired of hearing men talk AT women or monologue about their thoughts on what women should do and having Miranda there offers some balance and multi-directional speaking. Not sure. Whatever the reason, I think I like the other format better 🙂.
This is exactly how I've always seen my face and body. As a tool to feel included. When i look good i have the best time, I'm confident in not being rejected by others and tend to put myself out there more. I used to think that I'd be happier if there were no mirrors in the world. That i wouldn't be tugged one way or the other emotionally depending on how i looked that day. In my 40's i realised at the centre of me (as in all of us) was the need for connection. And it was connection that made me feel good. And when i looked good i got more connection and when i looked ugly i didn't and it would have a really bad effect on how i felt about myself. I like your remark on it being curious that growing older doesn't make us look happy. Maybe the phenomena of more women than men seeking out aesthetic intervention and being more preoccupied with how they look is because of women's need for collaboration more than men to get on in life.
Thank you!! We have a large Indian community here, I wouldn't say it's that different except they often age better due to UV light resilience compared with white skin.
This is such an insightful and brilliant approach. I will immediately start thinking differently about my anti-aging journey. As a clinical social worker, I can relate strongly to moving anti-aging processes down on Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs from esteem and belonging, down to survival. Sounds a bit strong, but your approach makes so much sense--
So true, that’s why I chose to treat my frown lines and dimpling chin and down turned oral commisures as I constantly looked like the grumpy cat and people kept asking if I was ok. 😅
Also overall skin quality and tone, sun damage, ruddiness, redness pigmentation, texture etc is really aging. When you look at young people/children their skin is smooth clear and glowing.
How does a patient get through the pain? Like what if you start one side and the patient is panicking re the other side to come? Ideas suggestions? Tips?
From a patients perspective thank you Dr Tim for making me feel okay having aesthetic procedures, this is exactly how I felt but could never put it into words 🥰 Btw - Miranda is such a good sport letting you show off her frown lines 👍🏼😅
Yes it's strange how you are perceived in the world. When I first asked about botox in clinics people waved their hands at me and said "You can't afford it". I didn't ask the cost I asked about the product 😂😂😂👍
I thought that was an excellent podcast. Most women want the image in the mirror to match the vitality they feel on the inside. They want to look refreshed. I would love to see a tutorial on how much Vytrase to use when you have a small area that you are unhappy with. Such as a small area on the lip where the filler did not settle as well or has a fullness that you did not predict. There does not seem to be a consensus on how much to use.
By far, one of the best videos I've ever watched on Aesthetics. I'll watch it over and over again

What outstanding results on the 2 patients, especially the 2nd patient. She looked amazing, from her eyes to her lips.
Thoughtful perspective on aesthetics, thank you 🙏
