Bubba thank you for the video. I’m working on my aunts car replacing the old radiator in it. And just decided to look up to see what people said about getting the bottom lines off. Well you had me rolling on the floor laughing my ass off. Thank you for that. Totally agree that is a total cluster fuck in here.
Glad I'm not the only one who thinks the Acura/Honda design/engineer staff has never had to install or remove one of their radiators. It's a total fustercluck.
Thank you but I have the same MDX 2004 but I have a fan sensor switch connect to the radiator but I can find where is the other end or where to connect help please Thank you
Thank you this was very helpful 🙂 question do u need to replace my thermostat at the same time as replacing my radiator? Someone had told me that I needed to do at the same time as radiator but the only reason my radiator is being replaced is because of car finder binder...
My acura started overheating took a look at the coolant and it looked like a strawberry shake looks like transmission oil got in the radiator but I don't see any coolant in the transmission so should I only replace the radiator ?
to easily take out the fans remove the first coil and oil cap and lower engine cover take out the plastic shroud fan on drivers side first then take out steel shroud fan after that plenty of room as long as the coil and oil cap are removed
I hate working on my 2004. Bought the radiator months ago. Been dreading do it. Leak stop worked. Now it doesn’t. Thanks for the regurgitate video. How long did the replacement take?
You can remove extra stuff if you want but it was fine with the bumper on. When you get into it you'll realize it's not really just the bumper itself thats in the way it's the stuff that holds the bumper.
Saved me 700 to 900 in labor. Completed in 4 hours. Legend . Thank you , sir
Awesome video! Your camera angles could not have been better, thanks a million!!
Thanks for this brotha! I knew it was gonna be a pain in the ass so I had to find a video! Glad I came across this one

😂😂 professional at the beginning of the video turned to a ratchet and clank commentary 😂 good work 👍🏽
I like to keep it interesting 😆

I’m dying there’s a whole bunch of shit bolted to the same shit you got to do this just to get some simple shit out I’m crying of laughter😅

Its not required but since the part is so cheap a lot of people change it with cooling system work.
Don’t make the same mistake as me and put back the hood latch cable incorrectly 😭 now I’m stuck tryna figure out how to pop the hood open lol

Yes most likely the trans cooler inside the radiator failed causing the mixing of trans fluid and coolant.
I have a 2008 MDX, any tips on how to remove the radiator fan without removing the AC fan?
Pretty sure both need removed to get it all out
How did you pick your radiator? I hear bad things about the Denso one. Any help would be great.
Denso is usually junk. I think either CSF or KOYO
@@bobaganoosh88 Awesome, thank you much.
What is cost for labor if you buy the part anybody know?
yes! SO MUCH FUCKING bullshit in the way! i love yer video YOU ARE SPOT ON!
to easily take out the fans remove the first coil and oil cap and lower engine cover take out the plastic shroud fan on drivers side first then take out steel shroud fan after that plenty of room as long as the coil and oil cap are removed
That's exactly what I did in the video lol

Took about 2 hours
@@bobaganoosh88 thanks
Supposed to say “regular guy video” not regurgitate. Lol
@@autorog1234 i figured regurgitate wasn't quite right! Lol
just an opinion i might be wrong wasn't just easier to remove front bumper to have more wiggle room and remove the radiator with the fans on.
No

royal pain in the arss
You're telling me!
You have to take the center bar off
You can to make it a little easier. Obviously you don't have to since I did the job without doing it.
