- In this video, The Gaggle works together to install an above ground Intex pool in our backyard. With the use of 2 shovels, a rake, garden hoe, level and a 2 by 6 board we leveled the ground. We used foam insulation panels and a tarp to cover the ground and create a soft smooth surface for the pool to sit on and to create a barrier to protect the pool from weeds and rocks. After the swimming pool was assembled, we used 1.5 feet pavers to give the posts a solid place to sit on and to prevent sinking.
We are not professionals and this is our first attempt at a project likes this. It was fun but a lot of work to complete but we now have a place to keep cool and enjoy our summer. Please like and subscribe for more videos every Tuesday and Thursday! Thanks for watching!

You two working together is amazing!
Great job! You guys did just as well as some of the professionals with an entire crew and heavy equipment! Bravo I hope your sweet little family is enjoying it!
Y'all did a really good job on leveling that pool. If you upgrade to hard pvc pipe you will gain even more flow rate on your filtration. At your higher elevation you will get even more flow efficience than the people that put the pump at leg level. Great job on the video.
I love you. This is exactly how I talk to my daughter
the sounds of summer
Awesome video of your family working together. Makes me want to purchase this same pool
I wrapped my pump hoses in blue electric tape, which from experience, works great as in a seal or so, those hoses (esp the lighter weight intake hoses) will crack… at first around the base at the liner, since they always are tugging, then hose will crack about anywhere! I hadn’t looked at my pool for a few days, until water had drained out down to those intake hose level from cracked hose leaking… ugh! So, got a pack of electric tape at amzn and wrapped it around esp at the liner and other side connection with t-valve & all is super. Oh, and turned a bucket upside down for t-valve to sit on to keep less weight than how otherwise the hoses just hang off the sides. 👍
Great job! Thank you for the information. Enjoy!
Great job! Thanks for sharing
Nice, thanks from France !
Y’all did a great job
I love your family and great job if you don't mind I have a couple of questions was your foam 11/2"or 1" and when you leveled your blocks for the legs did you level it with the top of the foam or the bottom of the foam.
How have the pavers been holding up since y’all installed this pool?
You guys did an awesome job with pool prep and set up 👏🏼👍🏼👏🏼👍🏼👏🏼 👍🏼How come Dad didn't get to take a dip and cool off on camera after all that sweating? 🤗
You guys made it look so easy, looks like you have clay dirt like me..I'm in the process of leveling my ground and it's no joke, I thought of digging my pavers down too just to level, did you use sand to smooth your surface before the foam insulation? And problems with the pavers cracking, can't decide on pressure treated wood or pavers....great family loved the video😁tfs
Sod cutter rental from home Depot would've done the job in less than 1 hr
Hey you guys made this look so easy.
We are in the process of putting ours up. It’s 32’ x 16’. It is up, legs on and we are to the leveling the paver part! Omgeee… can u please tell me what u did for this? Slowly and step by step lol. We don’t know what to do? Do we have to get all of them level together and if so, HOW????
How have the pavers and the foam insulation boards been holding up?
👍
Great video. Do you like the foam insulation underneath. Would you recommend it.
I would also like to know how thick the foam insulation was & cost & how you’re liking it???
Can you tell us how big your dirt pad is that the pool sits on? Does that make sense? Great video.
Are you using this as a salt water pool? and if so, is maintaining the water clarity easier?
I'm in the process of doing my research before I get my pool but one thing I am seeing is that most people are only putting the foam boards under the pool. Why not layer the enter group with the boards or pavements that way you didn't have to dig the pavements into the ground? I feel like if you did that, you could have saved some time.
How many foam boards did you use? And how much where they
what size of the pool do you have Ma'am?
Looks like the 22x12x58’
What size is your pool?
12 x 24
This would of been so much better with out the loud music
