I have had the priviedge of visiting Uganda twice for 5 weeks each time. it is a beautiful country and the people are so welcoming. I find the people to be humble, happy and helpful to visitors. My favorite area is Fort Portal and the surrounding countryside. As an English speaker it is so enjoyable to be able to converse with almost everyone. The children in Uganda are full of big smiles and kindness, they get excited to meet a muzungo. As a side note, I met two young businessmen who were trying to help young people in Fort Portal and kjenjojo, in just a few short months we are now sponsoring around 130 students with school fees and supplies. 130 kids for the cost of 1 student in a good private school in the US….
My wife is from Musaka . I haven't to Ft. Portal but would like to. Ginga is a pretty big town, Kampala is huge and offers every thing, I could go for some beef stew , side of Irish and ugalie. Love Rolex, Ugandans are definitely great people ❤
What a beautiful, peaceful country. I was shocked at how friendly the people were. I was there for the summer, and I will certainly recommend it to people to visit. I love Uganda and will visit again
I agree with most of what you have mentioned about Uganda. I visited the country with my family last year, 2021. I went to Kalangala Island. It was amazing. I hope to come again to enjoy the Pearl of Africa!
i was living in Uganda for one year and it has been my Best country in Africa you feel at home i really enjoyed living mbale Kampala but unfortunately I never stopped Jinja i just passed many times when I come back for sure I will be in Jinja to see how is the city
Nice content Josey. Organic and tasty Food, good weather and people ...both beauty and characters ...make Uganda the most likeable place in Africa. For the record, we have two seasons as u said, but alternating every 3 months. We dont have a 6 month dry spell and a wet 6 months.. so its well spaced between, its in intervals of 3 months. In a dry season, in most parts of Uganda, it rains 4 to 5 times in a month,... so that is why its green always. Our rains pound hard with thick drops , but last barely an hour. Its the soft rains that last some hours. Come see for yourselves and am surr u will not only never regret spending money there, but wish to visit again or plan to stay and settle. Simply magical 😊
❤ I’m from the United States Of America, I live in the State of Louisiana ; I’m of Creole decent biracial of African American, Caucasian, and Native Indian. My 4 th great grandfather came from France And my 4 th great grandmother was Haitian . I would love to come to Africa especial to Uganda. Thank you for showing us around this beautiful country and 5he people there. I just subscribed to your channel.
Brilliant walk through Josie. You are true about the beautiful ladies, country and people. I love your accent and how you describe. Africa is definitely a future destination to visit for me. Thank you very much for taking the time to explain and show. 😊😊
There is a song in America called "The Freaks Come Out at Night," and it's so true no matter where you go. So, I have to say, good travel advice not to go out at night Miss Josey! I can't wait to see Uganda some day, it looks so mystical and full of life!
Not necessarily true. In Iceland, a single woman can walk by herself at 3:00 in the morning and have no problem. It is safe at night and at day time for everyone. Let's hope that the rest of the world strives to achieve that level of civility.
Hey there beautiful miss Josey Yes, I agree, Uganda is a very beautiful country, but when I visited Entebbe and Kampala I was a bit disappointed with the garbage everywhere, otherwise it was a wonderful country, I love to visit again, and I agree about the beautiful woman, I was in love hundreds of times a day 😅 I love your videos and to look at your beautiful face ❤ I’m watching from Sweden
Absolutely Fantastic video, love the people, your beautiful cheerful nature and beauty, the Art Work, the little children and Uganda 🇺🇬 Greetings from Australia......🇦🇺💌😊
i went to Kampala last February and i fell in love with the and i am coming back in April, really love everything about Uganda and i am from New Jersey in the United States and I did not one bad experience there and everyone i met and talked to on the street was happy to help me , love your country and the city of Kampala
I live in Jersey, cape may county, married to a Bugandan lady from Musaka, many years happily married with a bunch of kids. We have a lot of Ugandans that live in New Jersey . Pretty big community in cape may. I'm the crazy muzunga and love it and giving nothing but love from my Ugandan family and friends.
I have been there 5 or 6 times. Uganda does accept refugees even though the economy is not booming. I have been to Kyaka II. I was frustrated going through Kampala, but I found the people very friendly. I can eat matooke, but I prefer it with G-nut sauce. Do not hold your smart phone out for people to grab.
Hey Josey, thanks for your video. All things that you was talking are true. Btw go back to the painter and tell him I want to buy the picture with the muzungu on the boda boda. It could be me, when I was in Uganda
# read to the end " thieves are going to come and attack and perhaps kill you " ... " don't go out at night " ... lol " Kampala is safe " Then , when you go out in the bush , there's lions etc ...and hippos in the rivers and ... But I do love the the people and the beautiful scenery! ...and YES , Ugandan women are amongst Africa's finest.
Stay where u are. Uganda isnot for u. Being with lions in the bush sounds funny. U expect lions to be in some foodcoart somewhere in d mall.? Being blessed with wild animals is a blessing unless u haven't visited those beautiful parks. Anyway I understand I don't have parks in ur country.
It's not the lions, it's the leopard, you don't hear or see them coming, , magnificent big cats. Kampala, Ginga, , Muska , FT portal are safer than American big cities . Only place i was a little nervous was on the Congo border and those guys were not Ugandan.
True. She definitely loves, and attempts to do the good work of, promoting the country. Perhaps limiting repetitive words such as 'amazing' would be helpful.
I enjoyed the video. "Guys, Uganda is safe!" (Thinking nice thoughts. "I want to visit Uganda!") "Of course, if you travel alone thieves will attack you and might kill you." ("Wait, what was that???"") Made my brain do some gymnastics, but of course from my travels elsewhere I know that safety is a relative concept. Thanks for being real about it. I enjoy your videos so far, greetings from the USA! :)
She meant that the only criminality u could find in Uganda is robbery and its at very law rate just as u can find it in U.S b'se robbery is worldwide Uganda is friendly, peaceful has no wars, has no terrorist, its peaceful in every part of the country, not like Nigeria 🇳🇬 where you can't travel to some places or upcountry. ᴡᴇ ᴀʀᴇ ᴛʜᴇ ᴘᴇᴀʀʟ ᴏғ ᴀғʀɪᴄᴀ ✌️💪
Btw we use to call "Muzungu" a friend from Senegal that live here in Turin Italy. Trust me,before knowing that you use to call white people like that. I think that it's almost unbeliveble. Peace and respect from Europe. keep that positive GOOD VIBE ALIVE. ❤️🇮🇹💦
So that boy who, says he was the artist of all those paintings. Do you think he really painted those or was he saying that to sell them. If he painted all those he is pretty amazing. If he is selling those but didn’t paint them he is still a good business man, especially at his age.

Rght after talking about how hospitable the people of Uganda are, she gets shaken down by the local police looking for a little TKK
What an amazing artist you met, his work is awesome. Love Uganda, and its people ❤️
I agree with most of what you have mentioned about Uganda. I visited the country with my family last year, 2021. I went to Kalangala Island. It was amazing. I hope to come again to enjoy the Pearl of Africa!
Could not believe the size of lake Victoria and the storms that come through. Fishing is incredible, love those big nile perch
