Thank you Miss Jossy for the education, and showing your native country. I'm always interested in learning about new cultures and new places, and how people live elsewhere. Bless you always, and thank you for educating me about Uganda!
I just realized !!!! The only thing I used to know about Uganda was IdiiAmin! Now!!! When I hear of Uganda I think of Miss Josey!! You have rebranded this country!
hustle is hustle no matter the country! They might make more money elsewhere but it's also just gonna cost more to live elsewhere. I've found it's the same no matter the country, the only thing that changes are the types of dangers you face. Be careful out there Miss Josey! Love the video's even if I have no idea what they are saying a lot of the time haha, good vibes don't need translation!
@B45 no where did i say anything about equal, nor did i say anything about government aid, help, health expenses or any of that other gibberish you said. read the words I wrote THEN form an idea.
@B45 your getting too deep. if you buy a coke in Uganda and then buy one in whatever country your thinking of what I said will be true. when you work a job in Uganda and get paid, do that same job in whatever country your thinking of and the paycheck will be more.
@B45 I agree with you. This man is ignoring huge differences between developed world and undeveloped. Africa has highest infant mortality in the world. Highest rates of malaria and disease. Millions dont have access to clean drinking water or electricity. Millions still die from unsafe water. Millions are still illiterate and can only work hard jobs. There is no welfare to take care of poor or single mothers. Millions of African girls endure FGM, and are sold into marriage as children. No rights or protections for women. Most African countries have tribal conflicts and wars. Millions of Africans live on basic diet of maize and dont have good nutrition. Most africans lifespan around 60 years, compared to 85 in the west. For native tribes lifespan is even less around 45 years, Theres many big differences, too many to mention.
I am in USA but I love East Africa. I have been to Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, and DRC. I have been in Mbale, Bugiri, Mayuge District, Jinja, Kampala, Mulete, Mubende, Masinidi, Hoima, Mbarara, Bushenyi, and Kisoro.
In Nashville USA , jobs are everywhere starting out 19 USD an hour . Warehouses compete offering 1,500 USD signing bonus the main problem in Nashville is that there are so many jobs and not enough people to work .
You can make good money in America but the cost of living is very high so it evens out. I rent a three bedroom, two bathroom and my rent is $2,600 a month. My rent is going to increase another $400.00 a month yet my pay has stayed the same. This gives you an idea of the cost of living here in the states. God bless
Same problem here in Australia. Government policy is to devide and conquer. Ie Rich get richer , poor get poorer. 🤢 House prices doubling in last few years while pay stays the same.
They cant increase your rent that much it goes by percent yearly and yes are wage still the same but everything went up cant live on reg wage in this world anymore.

In Canada it depends on the province. In Alberta you can make money without a skill working in oilfields. Plus, they won't tax you to death. If you are highly skilled, Ontario and British Columbia are the provinces for you, but housing and taxes are prohibitive.
it depends on what part of America you want to live in. There is much money to be made in America, but not everywhere. Now where I live, Atlanta, Georgia, markets like the one you are in will have trouble keeping up with the demand! Atlanta is one of America's hot spots. That's why they call it hotlanta!

I think that those young men selling cloths don't realize the power they have, being that they are active players in the Ugandan economy. I also think what might help the economy is if the country of Uganda can attract more torrist to the counrty, which in turn will bring in more dollars into the Country and stimulate the economy. I think the people of all the African Countries should do their own research, and study why the African American community in America is not as wealthy as other communities in America. After that I think people like the young men Josey interviewed will realize that what they have is special, and that there are other people around the world who desire to take their position in the Ugandan market place and economy.
The US is too racist towards black Americans, so stay in Africa. You will have to work 3 times as hard. I understand wanting to come to a developed country, but it's not worth it. That is why so many people would rather struggle moving to africa than living in a country that discriminates, work you to death for low pay. Stay home, and do everything to build your country. If you do move, move with the spirit of building your nation.
If you want a great life style ..become successful in buissness..make great money.. free university education at all levels..free health care for life.... Scotland is the place but be prepared to pay the high taxes... that's what Africans need to learn when they come to the west it's not just a take and take ...if you put into the system you will get back 10 fold
We have a lot of people from Uganda migrate here to Australia and has been growing, most end up returning to Uganda after they make a lot of money here but some choose to remain here. Easy to make money here but cost of living is very high, especially in the two largest cities.
It’s money in Nashville US , companies are competing for worker they offer 1,500 USD signing bonus . Jobs start out at 19 USD an hour . I have my house , cars , truck , motorcycle and 73k USD saved up from welding making 1,200 a week I only work 3 days a week 12 hours and have 4 days off . It’s easy , I work with a lot of people from Africa , my friend says he send 400 back to his family in Africa and they live like rich people off of it .
I'm in USA but I want to live in Uganda. My wife is from Uganda but her immigration to usa is too slow because of covid. We are waiting 2 years now. I'm still trying to learn how a muzungu can be successful there and I will just come that side.
As a ugandan I can say you will succeed ,we also have other bazungu who are successful and happy living here more so if you have capital to open up any kind of your desired business because here business goes on well it's all about being with capital. Fortunately investors don't pay taxes here in uganda and the cost of living is low and endeavour to do more research as well
Canadian here, there are plenty of jobs here for you. However your credentials or certificates may not be transferable for your profession. And it may not be what you expect. I had to move over 5000 km within Canada for my job. But it is worth it. Best of luck to you all.
Yes plenty of money here in America as well as plenty of lazy people that doesn't want to work to get it. I'm on a job now that pays for our travel, hotel ,rental cars , gives us perdiem ,free food and some of the workers still find things to complain about .
Dont come to America brotha,( I'm telling you - as an African American , don't be fooled by all the glitz and glamour that America shows to the world . You will be better off going to Canada.
My friend in Uganda says jobs only pay very little there...like 100$ a month. Many people in Uganda can only afford one meal a day. The only way to make better pay is to have a master's degree and work in professional job. Most people can't afford a car. Health care is too expensive. Most people outside the city Kampala are relying on the family garden for food. Many people really have almost nothing.
Lmao DONT COME TO CANADA. It’s a joke here right now politically and the county is going to crap. We have weird laws right now, too. You can make money here by you’ll be forced to spend most of it. Wow. Where is rent that high? Come down south. Here in Virginia is somewhat cheaper, Northern Virginia is more.
Here in Arkansas I rent a three bedroom brick home for $800 / month. Plenty of jobs are here, skilled and unskilled.
There is plenty of money here in the US, but the cost of living is high. Most Americans live paycheck to paycheck for this reason.
The only Americans living paycheck to paycheck those who blatantly refuse to learn any skills.
