that is my rout to work
I was there in 2022, the problem was, as a mzungu, you have people following you around wanting to do things for you for money, sell you things, guide you. Please, leave me alone to enjoy the beach!!! This is what discourages visitors.

This often happens at holiday places frequented by foreigners in developing countries. I encountered it in Ethiopia, Sri Lanka, Honduras, other places.
I like the way you edit you the video, leaving out the tuk tuk ride and you eating
Good video, Kokkos Cafe was a decent choice for the coffee. The Tuktuk rates for mzungus esp. if you take one from or to a better hotel are so overpriced (I dont wanna mention how much they charge) that it is better just to wander around. And at the beach a mzungu is solo maximum 30 seconds, because the beach vendors and basically almost all ppl there see us as walking ATMs without any limit which can be pretty annoying although I understand they need to make money from tourists to live their life. Btw., Galu beach a few kilometers south is also very nice

btw i was on diani im february this year. Also visited Mombasa, its not far away. And one beautiful island not far from diani, dont remember name. I also experienced higher prices for wazungus 😉

When I went to Mexico decades ago they have these bars you swim up to in the pool. People sit in the water for hours at these bars and I figured they all must be peeing in the pool since they stay there for hours.
