I'm happy YT recommended Josey after I binge watched all of Sabbatical's vids this weekend! It's easy to see Josey as Naija because of her gap teeth- it's a trademark of Nigerians.
Hello from the Mekong Delta, I agree with Tommy has an American “what else do we have to do”. I enjoy seeing you and Tommy together having adventures. The two of you “look good together“. The intensity of the street and the search for food is exhausting. Take care and have fun.

Sabbatical always says he loves Chaotic streets, Nigerian was like wait till you get here bro. Lol, I bet Sabbatical will qualify his kind of “chaotic” appropriately after being in Lagos. You guys should come to ABUJA, it’s the ideal Nigerian city for foreigners. Less chaotic.
Africa is a thousand times more diverse than Europe. Thousands of different languages and ethnic groups, over 52 countries, and it's the continent where mankind has lived and evolved for the longest. You can find every conceivable type of human there.

Hey Tommy. Been binging on your videos. Thanks for the look at Africa with your historical insights. Really nice to get to know Josey a little better in this one. She's adorable pal.
Amazing josey you guys rock.. pumping put some awsome videos of Nigeria.. I remember I did wish to travel to Lagos a number of years ago. But unsure as going by myself and from the UK.. it seems like home from home.. if I was there josey in the market I could spend alot of time and money on the delicious Nigerian food.
Hey miss Josey, that food 12.50min looks delicious. I really like your videos.....stay safe and keep making these videos of africa.....greetings from amsterdam the netherlands.....
Nice to see you guys collab again (I was tickled silly seeing you both on Sabbaticals channel), and see Miss Josey out of Uganda for a minute. Have fun.
Another beautiful video from Lagos Naijja. When you began rolling I thought man! that gal looks so Nigerian! due to her complexion and the gap in her teeth. I forgot she's Ugandan for once. But you get to enjoy what most of us Africans just wish they'd do- travel around the continent, meet other Africans, make friends just like you've done in your travels. When will African countries open their borders to fellow Africans? And make trade and cross-border movement easier. They're some Nigerians in Kenya, I just wish I could get the opportunity to travel to West Africa and experience the culture of the people there. It should be cheaper flying across African countries but it turns out, it's the exact opposite. Nice video mister sabbatical. From Kenya I say continue doing what you do. You're helping us- virtual travelers to experience different parts of Africa in a totally unique way. Cheers man!
They are trying to know u better not begging in the sense. They can also give u more in return. Just open your heart to them and love will come your way. Nigerians are very nice and kind people
Thanks Josey! That’s so great with you and Tommy! You guy’s are great with handling the begging situations. You’re cute laughing them away. Food does look tasty and delicious. 😁
You are such a brave woman. I followed you via Sabbatical's channel. Not to mention you are beautiful and kind. Please keep the content coming so we can continue learning about different parts of the world.
Hi miss josay &sabbatical good to see yous both, loving the Nigerian content ,never seen so many dents on the Nigerian taxi s,, hopefully be in Uganda for 2023
At 7:06 he says Biafra: it was a secessionist state from Nigeria that existed from 1967 to 1970. At 9:00 I'm not sure you understood what he is saying: dates, the fruit of date palm tree. I'm Italian, we usually eat them at Christmas (imported from Egypt or Tunisia typically).
Fjodor Dostojevski: ““If you wish to glimpse inside a human soul and get to know a man, don't bother analyzing his ways of being silent, of talking, of weeping, of seeing how much he is moved by noble ideas; you will get better results if you just watch him laugh. If he laughs well, he's a good man.” Reminds me of Tommy’s smile.
@@constancejeffries5967 yes it is in your painted illusionary world. Besides your world, there are other worlds, including the real world. The woman that asked food there was trying to rapport and all, not beg, she isn’t hungry. If people have a liking to you, they will eat your food and ask for it very boldly, if they feel your spirit and they connect, they won’t hold back. Rude is too english. Nothing wrong with it but there are other worlds. Sabbatical is quite relatable and people feel it in Africa where they know these stuff and they go close. They won’t do that to everyone. They process stuff first before they go close.
@16:57...That lady was just being overly jovial, casually friendly because Tommy is white. Just catching fun. She was saying in Yoruba: "You are miserly...it's only a miser that gives someone just one thing...come on, give me two..." Not really begging, just being friendly. It's a Lagos thing, really 😜 @MissJosey @Tommy
The kids having fun being in the video literally scattered as soon as that woman showed up. Her street reputation clearly precedes her. Would like to know more on that backstory.
Me really shocked when y’all walked pass okpa/moimoi and you’re still looking for Nigerian street food😭. You just missed the real deal! And this just brings back memories of jumping off the bus (a typical way to alight from a bus in Lagos) while it’s still moving…epic!

From watching these videos from Africa is that Africa is more like Europe - each country is very different, it is not a monolithic place.
