It's not only gratifying to see a real professional at work but also to listen to someone who is well spoken and gets the lesson across. Well done mate!
Sandro, I have said it before and I'll say it again.. From a total package view point from informative, production, music etc.. hands down you make the best detailing videos on UA-cam! Thank you..
I second that without a doubt most detailers show how much cars they do and showoff their showrooms. Sandro you a master teacher you really go the extra mile to inform us on detailing well done bro.
you truly are a master at your craft. this gentlemen is what detailing channels need to watch and learn from. Anyone else tired of watching a zoomed up panel polish in a 10 min video. I know i am. Appreciate that learning process you achieve in these videos. I will know use 3 inch for fine areas and mask up like you do. Thanks brother
Hey mate, this is one of the best videos I've watched on correcting pain online. Well done, you really tought me a lot more in this one video than the 20 others that I have watched previously. Thanks for this video mate!
I just wanted to thank you for your effort in making these videos. I have never done paint correction by myself and after watching your videos on different cars and issues you've came through I feel confident that I can try to do this too. Please keep up the good work you're doing right now. You are my number one!
I used to do landscaping and when cutting the grass i would do the outter perimeter first then the inside. Never have i seen someone use the smaller pads to do the same with the car panels. Im into detailing now and starting my own business once nicer weather hits. I will take this technique with me on my journey. Thank you! 🤙
Another absolutely fantastic video. I am just so sad that I, litterally, live on the other side of the Earth so I have no chance to buy a education by you. It would have been a fantastic treat to myself.
Absolutely awesome. This must be your own business as there is no chance of any employee putting in so much effort and focus for a boss. You are the best detailing guy I have ever come across. You are a perfectionist of note at what you do with superior clear dialog throughout your presentations. Keep it up, you are one of a kind. Kind regards, Dave from South Africa.
I am polishing cars for more than 7 years i had never see some one to polish panel with mini mop, using more polish just proves how much you know about polishing 🙂
Absolutely brilliant video! Everything from top tips right through to explaining why you do it a certain way really helps you understand the key fundamentals that should be used. Ordered my DA a few days ago and feel a lot more confident. Thank you!
Car craft, Apex Detail, and Forensic detail are some of the best sources of detailing information/education not only on UA-cam but on all of the internet, IMO. Awesome video, love your content
Muffin Man Apex Detail is excellent, the only thing I don’t like it’s the choice of the products he chooses for detailing thé véhicules of his clients. When you see him putting Turtle Wax on a 150,000$ just because he wants to save money that is a problem for me. I have been detailing for 24 years and when a client with a Porsche comes in he gets the best products whatever the price it cost me. He will comeback and bring me more clients.
Your work that is displayed and narrated in your videos is absolutely gorgeous and represents the finest training videos I have ever seen. My hat's off to you. Thank you so much. 🎄👍
"If you ain't hurtin' and ain't sweatin' you ain't doin' it right!" You got that right Sandro! Amazing transformation as always! Merry Christmas to you and your family from the other side of the world!
Beautiful work, Sandro. Nice music as well. I don’t care for that techno/chipmunk sounding stuff that’s in a lot of videos. The level of gloss and clarity You returned is remarkable! Black is tough. Excellent job.
Man ... what great results from some elbow grease! Such an understandable instructor. Thank you for the education. I am in the U.S. and probably will be using Meguiars comparable compounds and polishes and am hoping my results will be as good. I will give it some good effort and we will see.
Dear Sandro. I love your videos. Your videos are always very informative, well structured, with good audio and video quality. Also, your speech is clear and understandable. Every word in your sentences is significant. I'm just an enthusiast, and I follow around 20 UA-cam channels on Car Detailing. To me, you are one of the best UA-camrs on this topic. Thank you very much for your valuable guidance. Greetings from France.
Highly informative and well spoken tutorial. A sincere thank you from the other side of the planet for sharing your hardly earned skills with us. Cheers mate!
Thanks Sandro for this video. I will use your technique next time I do paint correction on my car. Now I just need to get a 3” DA polisher. I’d like a mini polisher as well.
CHEERS! THANKS! This gives me a bit more confidence in tending to my Kia Forte 5. It's color is aurora black pearl and giving it a good once over like this, would really make that pearlescent black burst.
What makes doing this type of work difficult especially for people that are novices is trying to figure out what combinations work for which types of paint and that only comes with experience. Sometimes I have personally seen so-called professional automotive detailers go to aggressive on a paint correction and burn through the clear and see them trying to mask it by putting a nano coating over their mistake trying to cover it up these things happen folks so if you're trying to conquer something like this yourself remember trying to chase after every imperfection usually will lead to removing too much clear coat so live with some defects additionally try the least aggressive means first and remember that you're not removing swirl marks that you're not removing scratches you're removing clear coat to remove the defects and no nano coating is as good as the factory clear coat so keep that in mind 👍
This brought a lot of peace of mind to me because I just bought a 3in polisher and was wondering if it’d be any use. I always worried about that top edge by the window figuring a 3inch would be great for that area. Thank you for confirming that.
Another great job!, It's funny the shine mate polisher is identical to the SPTA SP501 and SP502! To be honest I think it's made in the same place, then everyone puts their own mark on it, even can be directly in the factory 😉. 👍👍👍. I have SPTA flat beveled pads, hex-logic beveled etc, frankly super quality / price, excellent cut and finish, durability, and frankly compared with other pads (meguiar's, flexipads, shine master, maxshine lake country etc ...). SPTA don't have to blush next to them!
Thanks for this video. Really going to help me as I’m about to do a black 2016 Volvo S-60. Will be doing compound to get rid of scratches but did not know that huge difference the polish does for the finish.
Very helpful. I had not thought of using the 3" around the perimeter. Merry christmas all the way down there. I was in Sydney once, saw a Holden. I thought what a magnificent drag car they would make as they look like the Coupes we used to make many years ago up here in the US
That's because the GTO from 04-06 is a Holden Monaro. 08 and 09 G8 is a VE Commodore. 2011-2017 Chevy Caprice PPV is a WM Statesman. 2014-2017 Chevy SS is a VF Commodore.
It was very handy, the bit about the scratches in the door handle recess, the door handle area is even worse than the rest of the car after I (very stupidly) tried to use a (not so soft) brush to remove some bird, uh, deposits. The nylon in the brush was one of those super hard nylons, ruined the clear coat.
Your knowledge surprises me, congratulations! Help me with a problem, repaint a door and I need to match the finish of the transpartner to the rest. What would you do in this situation, what techniques do you do to match the OEM orange peel?
“detailed” my mini cooper s over the weekend, spent about 15 hours. but after watching this im disappointed with everything i did lol. o well. My Focus ST will get to have my new found knowledge.
finally someone showing a polishing job other than a hood😁
Agreed! This is wery good. Would like it if he only used the big machine as well, people usually don’t have 2...
@@mammutpenthouse you can get a smaller backing plate for your machine.
LOL, exactly.
You can polish your doors? What kinda crazy time to be alive!😂
@@DoubleDspare you joking? They’ve been doing this for years and years now
It's not only gratifying to see a real professional at work but also to listen to someone who is well spoken and gets the lesson across. Well done mate!
Yup, a great switch from the ranting from some of the more ranting detailers out there.
Sandro, I have said it before and I'll say it again.. From a total package view point from informative, production, music etc.. hands down you make the best detailing videos on UA-cam! Thank you..
I've been saying the same thing for the past 2 years!!!
Completely agree 👍👍

i like this technique, too
This video is so great and helpful even all these years later!!!
Excellent job on that door! Detailing to this level is 10times better than factory
Excellent video!
Thank you so much Sandro!
Thank you so much mate, I greatly appreciate the support!!
Thank you sir. You were spot on in the beginning. Everyone shows what to do on a hood or flat panel. Very glad to have seen this.
Another absolutely fantastic video.
I am just so sad that I, litterally, live on the other side of the Earth so I have no chance to buy a education by you. It would have been a fantastic treat to myself.
Best detailing vids on youtube.
You really inspire me. Everytime I confront something in polishing, I check your channel. A real pro! Good source of knowledge!
I’m in awe of how much I learned from this video. Please keep up your good work. Thank you!!

Marcus Cassius so in your opinion expensier is better?
Great to see an aussie channel teaching all of this. Most of the detailers are American so the products are limited. Thanks.

What a find!! Can't wait to show my slightly used but new to me MINI Cooper S all I am learning!

Best video you've ever done Sandro. Congrats.
Thank you for the amazing content, like how you speak calmly and explaining things into details ! Keep it up brother
Just came across this, absolutely amazing. Best ever paint correction video I've seen, great job!
Awesome video - can’t wait for the rainy season to be over so I can use this technique on my black Escalade!!!
thank you, finally, someone who shows the door handle scratches and how to work on them. thank you thank you thank you :)
Great video! Glad to see this in a door vs the hood
Perfect video just learned something new about the 6x ur pad area to work on. Thanks
Yes same here. That was new to me also.
Thanks Sandro for this video. I will use your technique next time I do paint correction on my car.

Nice to see a door being polished results are amazing was the owner having it ceramic coated after.
Have a good Christmas Sandro
Exactly what I needed to see. Thank you.

Doing the door handle well by hand sure made a huge difference!

Excellent job! I love those HDO pads
very impressive video, very enjoyable and informative.Outstanding. more, please.
I did a GMC pick up that was worse than that and did it all with RENENERATE from ANGELWAX. After I use the polish they have and the truck was mint.
omg I need a paint correction & ceramic coating on my black car done asap

Great video, one of the best I've seen! Thanks!
Another awesome video !!!!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
I always do the same as you. Bottom of the car with small pads and top of the door with the smaller pads too. The in between with the 5 inch polisher.
Thanks for all the informations ! Very usefull and what a huge difference !
Jeez man what kind of black mirror is that 🤩
