Welcome ! Finally we are starting installation process of the CSL Streamline Carbon Fiber Airbox! First we have to do a conversation add MAP sensor to the engine management, this will enable us to have stock like engine functionality without a need to run Alpha N tune. just wondering,...my car is 2003 then should I need to replace the DME??? OR..just need wiring job what you did it?
You will need mss54hp in order to run map sensor if the car is prior to 2003.5 the if has mss54 you can modify it to make it hp or sawp it but without that it won’t work

@@suhyunjung9110 if you have mss54hp you can do exactly what I did in the video, upload csl tune and your all set. Ready to go.
@@MotorsportInspired you dont do that default settup like... VANOS offsets for stock cams, pressure scaling to accommodate different pressure sensor in non-HP DMEs..etc???
If you have non-HP dme than you can’t run map sensor you just have to go with alpha n tune from on of the tuners out there. In the event you do Hp conversion or hp dme than you don’t have to do scaling if you use the sensor I used in the video becuase that Bosch sensor has the same scaling as Bmw factory one has dme will have no problem reading it. Scaling only needed if you use different map like gm one
