Great video! Hassan really knows what he is doing when it comes to tuning. (Highly recommend him) Good on streamline for owning the fitment issue and stop sending out snorkels. (I was one of them) Amazing airbox for a great price.

Have been waiting for this video! Do you think the base CSL tune will work well, or do you need to get a custom tune? Assuming the car has headers, CSL airbox, but stock non- CSL cams

Yes, If you have headers csl airbox and stock cams base Csl tune works very well no problem just have to modify it for stock cams, but to squeeze out most power custom tune is advisable.
Excellent video fella..really well explained and filmed and has given me the confidence to attempt my own installation in a few weeks. Does the dipstick still function correctly and slip in and out ok considering the tube has been bent and would this also effect the accuracy of the oil level display when checked?
Thank you for watching🙏 glad u enjoyed it. Dipstick tube still functions correctly just like it did before. Tip when bending tube you want to put few small bends, nothing too aggressive so the dipstick glides smooth.
The Streamline response for the snorkel hitting your upper radiator hose sounds like a quick response to a problem that may or may not solve the problem. If it is a known problem, why would they still sell it?
Hi, Have not received redesigned snorkel as yet, will update once I do, I don’t if it was known problem or not, from what I know I was one off first people to receive the snorkel, so time will tell, but you have a good point there. Will definitely update on the outcome of this.

Why did you choose Streamline air box instead of Turner Motorsport ?
Hi, There’s few reasons I choose SL over Turner airbox is; I don’t like design of bell curve on the unfiltered part, you cannot attach snorkel, trumpets have different angles/design inside. It’s very unproven ground, original csl airbox was designed by BMW F1 engineers, with lot more knowledge and experience then Turner, I do not to want to discredit Turner in anyway as they have Motorsport experience as well but its not on the level of BMW F1 resources/experience. At this point who knows maybe Turner box will work as good or better then original design, but then it might not. To this day there’s no Turner air boxes that have been delivered to actual costumers, last I check projected deliveries are end of June 2020 which this date has been moved already couple times. In general I just don’t think there’s a need to reinvent the wheel here. SL airbox is direct replica trumps have original design just bit bigger bell curve which should actually help, you can attach snorkel to it OE or any aftermarket, the airbox is available at this time from SL and it’s priced very similarly. Thank you for watching, Tune is great power is excellent, Hassan from HTE Performance is awesome to work with, highly recommend. Yes dyno will be coming soon, right know we just did base tune, I'm still in break-in phase on the cams can't really rev engine to 8k rpm until everything mates properly, I should be done soon though. Then will definitely do update video with dyno results.

Can you install this on the e46 330i m54 engine?
No it will not fit, only fits on s54 with individual throttle bodies.
Bmw original clamps are the clip type ... I wouldn’t use anything else.
Yes that’s why I reused them on throttle body side of the boots.
How is the clearance between the airbox and factory strut bar?? I have seen many boxes have issues with them being to close and even rubbing.
Clearance is no problem not even close to strut bar, Turner csl airboxs have problems with clearance, not these.
@@MotorsportInspired great info, thanks! Are you still liking it after having installed it for 7 months now? Is it holding up ok? I am thinking of going ahead with this. They are an 8 hour drive from me so might make the road trip.
