I have seen you find the queen at least 100 times by watching your videos and you never take it for granted that you found the queen. You always thank God and you always get so excited. I love that enthusiasm. It is so wonderful.

Super productive hive, can see why the bees keep going back to that house. Great idea to attach handles to floorboard, never would have thought of that.
These are some really great bees, and will make a welcome addition to our apiary, I think they have some really good genetics. I have been attaching handles now for a couple of years, it works fantastic. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed

I just found this channel and it's amazing. You're making a living by getting bees out of people's homes, then you're saving the bees, educating people about bees and helping the environment all at the same time. You're a class act, Mr Ed!
Thank you so very much for your kind words and support of my efforts to rescue bees.I post these videos, to show just how important bees are to our very survival, and why we should not just kill them out of ignorance. I have been rescuing bees from being needlessly destroyed for over 6 years now, and hope to continue to do so for many more years to come. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace Harvey. Mr. Ed
You are going to find out for yourself who won next Friday. May I make a suggestion for breakfast that morning, hot biscuits and honey. God's peace Stacye. Mr. Ed
I could have had her at the very get go, but holding the camera and the queen cage proved a bit difficult. Regardless, I got some great footage and captured the queen unharmed. Merry Christmas to you as well. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
When is it ever enough? In a way bee keeping and woodworking are similar. In woodworking you can never have enough clamps. In beekeeping you can never have enough bees. Another great video. Thank you Jeff.
I sure do love these videos! Lots of content to create as long as the bees keep coming back to this property. Happy Christmas to you and yours, Jeff. God bless.
Thank you for your blessing Cindy, it is greatly appreciated. It is amazing that I have been back here on 4 separate occasions, but apparently the bees like the place. Merry Christmas to you and yours as well. God's peace. Mr. Ed
Just go to show you how much people love you and your visits. What a wonderful and lovely hive. Thank you for sharing this video. God's blessings and graces. Lots of love, huggies and God's blessings to you and the brothers at the abbey and your family and friends. Be safe. From Israel.
Excellent video Mr. Ed!!!! Thanks so much for continuing to share your story. You continue to do many amazing things my friend. Take care! You know I'll #BeeReady to watch your next upload! 🐝🐝🐝☮️☯️
From one wrangler to another, you do some great stuff my friend. Your time is coming very soon. Next weeks upload is the Swarm Challenge winner announcement, it's hilarious. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
I remember this place, and those videos. Glad to hear the previous hives removed from this house are still thriving and growing. Great Friday video Mr. Ed. Thanks, and as always, God Bless my friend!
Excellent work on that removal. I like how you showed comb stored for transport. That old queen is tired of being man handled. Let me bring you another one for the next few videos.
So who are you going to ask to find the queen to send me, your dad or your brother Tommy because I know you certainly don't know how to spot them....unless they are already caged up. I like using ice chests, they stack well on top of each other, and do a great job of keeping comb stabilized. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
7:06 -- Beautiful honey comb. I'm surprised that the Queen was still laying even after all of the destruction of their colony. The bees were very calm and well behaved. Here, there's over a foot of snow on the ground. :(
It certainly was some beautiful honey comb on this one, and a lot of it as well. The first time I saw the queen she had her rear end backed into a cell, it surprised the heck out of me for sure. Gentle bees and for being here for only 6 months, they sure built a lot of comb. I think these girls have some great genetics. Todays high temp was 75, I do love living in the south. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
That is very kind of you to say, and I'm delighted to hear that you find them therapeutic as well. Thanks for watching, and I hope you will continue to do so. Till the next one, God's peace Tori. Mr. Ed
You are very welcome. In truth, the pleasure is all mine, I have such a good time doing it, and I'm grateful to all who take the time to watch. thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
So glad you enjoyed the performance, I really did have a great time on this removal and having my good buddy Jim on it made it special for me. Thanks for your kind words and for watching. God's peace Steven. Mr. Ed
Jeff this is your brother in Christ.I love all of your videos. I have PTSD chronic depression ,major depression and severe spinal damage, I believe the Lord has put me in this spot for a reason of which I don't know yet,I like your music and videos.I watch you and the rooster every day for hours. You make me feel better. Jeff my name is Keith Coffin. Can you please pray for me.You are a good Christion man. thank you for your videos. And you love of God. Please reply when you can?
Keith, I will add your name to my prayer list, it will bring me great joy to pray for you. I am terribly sorry for your afflictions, and I'm happy that my videos help you in some small way. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
As you were removing the brood section (11:14) I noticed that one of the sections had the outline of Moby Dick. Awesome as always- It Must Be Friday. 😊
Oh btw who else gets so excited when Mr Ed finds the queen 👸🏻 Sometime I imitate how he says “Thank you Jesus!! whenever he finds her while I’m watching 😁👍 👏
Brother Jeff, Thanks for the show! I watched it as my son drove us to Kelleys Bees today to get a truck load of goodies...and you were in Pineville, La. with the dirt rooster! You never fail to entertain....great video. God's peace and blessings from Ky.
Ed on the go, now that's how to watch bee wrangling. We had a great time at the convention, and I shot some pretty good video. Wait one more week and you will see it. Thank you for your blessing, and taking me with you to pick up some bee goodies. God's peace Mark. Mr. Ed
I know you have to feed the bees in winter, but just grab a brick of 5x5 in for me and box it up and send it. My mouth is watering watching that honey drip down. God made the bees and they make God's nectar. God bless bee wranglers especially Jeff.
Hey Jeff. Another great video. I really admire what you do with the bees, saving and rehoming them. Your letting us see the process from catching a swarm all the way to bottling the honey is a treat. And your comment section is full of wonderful people. It is a feel good channel all around. Thank you for what you have created here. JZ
You are way to kind Juliana, I'm just a bee wrangler living a full life and sharing my experiences. I'm ever grateful to all who chose to take the time to follow along. Thank you for being one of those. God's peace. Mr. Ed
Hey there Mister Edd. I live in Iowa, Im 60 years old and enjoy watching your Videos, along with Dirt Rooster and the rest of you there in the sunny South. Would love to meet all of you some day, and maybe lord willing I will. Keep up the good work and the Videos coming.
It would be a pleasure to meet you as well Greg, I hope the opportunity presents itself.Thank you very much for your kind words and for taking the time to follow along with my be wrangling adventures. Till the day we meet, God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
Very entertaining, your still removing swarms or hives from houses this time of the year is fantastic, just a little to cold lately here around Birmingham to even think about this, but it’s great to watch you do it! Keep it up winter is just getting here! My wife ask what are you watching, my reply is always “ B “ movies, then I show her your video and we both laugh. Gods speed to you brother, don’t forget, tell mom hi!
I'll continue to remove bees as long as our high temps hit the mid 50's. Because there is no brood to worry about, and as long as I can get the bees in a new box before temps get to low, they do just fine. Now get back to the "B" movie. thank you for your blessing and I will tell mom hello for you. God's peace Joe. Mr. Ed
As you saw from the FB posts, we had us a great time at the convention. Wait till you see my next weeks upload, it's really a ton of laughs. God's peace brother. Mr.
A man of many talents. Fish wrangler too!! Thanks for the great explanation (up top) of what you did here in the video. That was a lot of honey!! And it never gets old hearing how excited you get when you find the Queen. She was a "runner" huh? LOL!! Since you go to that house so frequently and the bees and honey area always so plentiful, you may as well call it "The House of Hives." :-) Have a good week Mr. Ed and Happy Holidays to your and yours from me and mine.
I certainly have lived a full life from mail man to bee man and all kinds of things in between. So glad to have you following along with my bee wrangling adventures, and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and Yours. God's peace LD. Mr. Ed
I would if it were not so far away. Every hive I have taken from this location has done very well. In fact, I pulled over 4 gallons of honey from one of them in the Spring. God's peace Daniel. Mr. Ed
You are very welcome Rich, the pleasure is all mine. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and leave your comment. Till the next one, God's peace brother. Mr.Ed
Like was suggested at the beehive house you should put some hinges in so you don’t even have to cut in the future. You just lift up the floor periodically and grab bees 🐝
I really am thinking about doing that. You better believe I'll be back at this location at least once this year. Thanks for watching. God's peace Heather. Mr. Ed
You got a TAN and I sure hope someone gets you and the Rooster as live as it gets and the audio is good. Glad you got to touch base with your old fishing buddy. My dad was a postmaster and was worked to death lots of times. Have a fine weekend and Gods Peace you are the parachute Lady!
Jim and I spent years of time together doing many things besides working together at the Post Office, it was great to have him finally tag along on one of my bee wrangling adventures. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
Gosh I missed that one and carnt wait for my bees and my bob wants me to get flow hive that’s why I asked what you thought god bless I’m watching you now it’s nice to have great friends love it
You are very welcome, and I hope you will check out more of my wrangling adventures on my channel and let me know what you think of them, there are over 350 of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday. God's peace Joanna. Mr. Ed
Hope you and the Wild Bunch had a great time in central Louisiana. I wish I was able to attend , but it was not to happened ; I live less than 40 miles from Pineville. Maybe next time
Maybe you ought to just insulate that part of the floor with some deep racks. And then you can drop honey supers on top and they'll have a coffee table in that room for the summer!
I'm going to suggest that to the homeowner, he might go for it if I tell him he can have honey anytime he wants. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
I know those bees need that honey, but oh boy does it sure look good! I don’t think I’d be able to keep myself from stealing a bite, or two, or ten! That was another great removal to watch. As always, you did an awesome job of giving the bees a chance at the good life up at the Abbey. 🐝🐝🐝 I cant wait to see the video about the announcement. I didn’t read the comments this time in case someone knew the outcome and commented on it. Take care!
You may have noticed, I did steal a bite for myself, but then I always have to sample the honey from every removal I do, it's one of the best perks about being a bee wrangler. The announcement of the winner of the swarm challenge will be posted this Friday, stay tuned for that. Thank you so much for your kind words and taking the time to follow along with my wrangling adventures. Till the next time, God's peace Diane. Mr. Ed
my only thought is if you have gone back 4 times in a row to remove a hive from the same location then just leave some way to easily gain access to the place that the bees keep making their nest in
This time, I asked the homeowner if I could put hinges on the plywood to make it easier the next time, he still wanted to screw the plywood down. Still, it's not to difficult to remove screws. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff i can understand that however what i was suggesting was basically locking wingnut kind of things you might find on lets say a 70's style muscle car that only LOCK the plywood down same as a screw would but i can also see wanting to make sure the house is still well put together as well however seeing as he keeps letting the bees back in by not closing up the access point really he is only doing himself and his home more of a dis-service than anything but that is just me lol . PS as far as videos goes your videos are mainly informative however the Dirt rooster has you beat on the comedic side of things sorry to say
Thank you so much for your blessing and kind words Sandy. Jim is one of my oldest, not in age, friends. I have been friends with him for so long I watched both of his kids grow up and now am seeing their kids grow up as well. Stay warm, God's peace. Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff You truly are a Blessed Man. My Friends left me after I got cancer. It must have scared them. I've forgiven them just don't know how to get a hold of them to tell them. At least GOD knows My Heart. Someday I'll have a close friend, my Husband is my Best Friend and a GODLY Man. So I am Blessed, looks better when writing about this. Thank you Mr. Ed
Not expensive at all, at least to the homeowner, I don't charge for my service. Thanks for taking the time to watch all of these bee wrangling adventures. God's peace Willa. Mr. Ed
Thank you for another great video of swarm wrangling. Good to see that you have happy and healthy looking bees still doing what they do best down there. We're all looking forward to hearing the results of the swarm competition between you and 628DirtRooster. I think that we can pretty much all agree that we all look forward to seeing you both swarm catching and the friendly bantering back and forth. Until next time, God Bless! :-)
Thank you very much for your blessing and kind words, they are greatly appreciated. I just finished editing the video about the winner of the swarm competition, and I think you will be surprised as to the winner. I will post that video next Friday. Till then, God's peace. Mr. Ed
I know!! It's like sitting on the edge of your seat at the best part of a movie!! You can barely breathe until you hear those three little words!! "Thank you Jesus!" Ok, now I can breathe! 😉😉😊😊
Sometimes bees can make a lot of comb in a very short period of time. These bees had been in the floor for only about 6 months. God's peace Sarah. Mr. Ed
I checked on the calendar, we have winter in Louisiana too, it just doesn't get cold. Because of that, I'm doing bee work practically all year long. Personally, I'd rather do the work than suffer through a cold winter. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
No captions😭 lots of honey in there. I agree that the floor removals give us a better view of the hive and the removal. Having Jim there made shorter work of this one. I can’t wait to hear who won!! 😊
If she is not gonna seal it, she should put attic down so she doesn't have to chance out the insulation each time and so the fiber glass does not get in the comb.
Even the videos are almost scripted because they follow the same pattern of the previous 3 removals. Still, always exciting to capture the queen. God's peace Mike. Mr. Ed
I'm delighted to share the little I know about bees, and I'm so glad you take the time to watch. Best wishes for you and your bees. God's peace. Mr. Ed
If a bee was out doing his rounds and then came back to find the hive gone, will that bee die? Or will it join another hive? Just curious. Great video.
There are different schools of thought on that very subject. Some say they die, some say the find another hive. Because I am of the thought that they die, I spend a lot of time getting as many as possible. I am consoled by the fact that if I did not get them all, at least the majority of the hive was rescued and did not perish. Thanks for watching the video, and if you are interested, I have over 350 more of them, and almost all of them are on bee rescues. I hope you will check a few of them out and let me know what your thoughts are on them. Also, I post a new video every Friday. Looking forward to hearing from you again. God's peace. Mr. Ed
Thanks so much for replying. I have subscribed to your channel and have been watching your videos. You do amazing work and it is very interesting to watch and learn about bees. Thanks for posting all of your wonderful videos, for us all to enjoy.
Thank you so much for your kind words and support of my efforts to rescue bees. Your comment is greatly appreciated. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
He likes me so much he had another swarm move in a few weeks back. I'm already making plans to remove them. Stay tuned for that upcoming video. Thanks for watching. God's peace Da vid. Mr. Ed
Hey, Jeff, my friend did a split on a really healthy hive and had a virgin queen for the new hive, both hives did very well foe a couple weeks and when he went to check on them, the new hive was totally empty and the one he split from only had about 40 bees and the old queen . What could have happened to the bees?
Since I did not see for myself, my guess is there were mite issues going on. It's very hard to make a determination without inspecting it myself. Sorry. Thanks for watching. God's peace James. Mr. Ed
Because this location is just so far from me, over 50 miles, it is not worth my efforts to continually monitor them. It's just easier to remove the bees after they moved in. Plus, it gives me another opportunity to make a video on it. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
How long did it take the bee colony to build the hives and make so much honey? Why is the honey darker? Did you taste the dark honey? How different is it in taste?
The bees moved into the floor space sometime in May, and I removed them in November, about a 7 month time frame. The honey is a darker color because it is primarily Goldenrod honey which has a darker color, and yes, I ate a lot of it, very good. I will say this, like a dark beer has more body than a light beer, honey works the same way. Merry Christmas and God's peace Colbert Mr. Ed
Hello Jeff, how are you? Great video as usual. I just returned from India again, this time I was in south India in the state of Kerala down where the rice paddies and coconut groves are in the tropics. I got rubber tree plantation honey and what a unique taste that is. I'll be trying to make the Tuscon gem show this year and driving through Louisiana and plan to stop to see you and bring a taste of honey for you and rooster. Stay well my friend.
The world traveler, great to hear from you! I'd be doing the exact same thing as you if I traveled, tasting honey all along the way. I'm looking forward to you passing through, got lots of stuff to show and let you taste some of the sweet honey we have here at the abbey. By accident, I made some honey candy. My bottler foamed over and left honey all over the outside of the bottle. It was like honey taffy, and it was awesome. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff LOL, honey candy? I've heard of it, I just never knew it was made that way. I'm really trying to make the Tuscon gem show and I'm going to need to drive there I think, so that means if I do go, I will definitely swing in and see you and taste your great honey and see your setup. i followed your videos while in India and it was nice to see a taste of home. Take care my friend and keep making those videos.
Wow, amazing little creatures ! Do you keep the bees ? If the bees keep returning to the same place why not just put hives outside to give them something to return to ?
Bees are amazing, and yes, I do keep the bees, unless the person helping me wants them. The reason I don't place traps or boxes there is because the houses are only 5 feet apart and there is lots of traffic, human, going between the houses. I post these videos, to show just how important bees are to our very survival, and why we should not just kill them out of ignorance. I have been rescuing bees from being needlessly destroyed for over 6 years now, and hope to continue to do so for many more years to come. So good to see you again. Wonderul new hive for the Abby. I have a question. Are beekeepers responsible for repairing the cut outs, also do you clean the honey out of the area where the bees were removed, if not doesn't the left behind honey attract more bees?
Lisa Compton beekeepers are not carpenters. Like this video he will do his best. He will also try to remove all of the honey and clean up. The homeowner should seal up any cracks that let bees in.
Depending on the arrangement between the homeowner and the bee wrangler determines who is going to repair the damage. For me, it's understood the homeowner will take care of everything as I do not charge for my services. Thanks for watching. God's peace Lisa. Mr. Ed
What a shame you did not get to make it, it was so much fun. Still, you can catch my video next week and see some of the fun we had. It would have been great to have met you. God's peace Tom. Mr. Ed
I am still too unsettled to wrangle unveiled. I don't recall you ever flinching or saying 'ouch" from a sting. Do you ever get stung? And,if so, have you ever had a reaction? I always look forward to your next video. Thank you.
I'm no fan of being stung which is why I always wear a suit. However, I will remove my veil after the initial intrusion is over and I can tell the bees are gentle. I was not stung once on this removal, and I do not have any reactions to bee stings. Thanks for watching Duane. God's peace. Mr. Ed
To bad he never hooked a spigot to the comb to get some fresh honey whenever he wanted. Heck, the floor was already opened for him. god's peace brother. Mr. Ed
Some of that comb was almost 3 inches thick, way thicker than comb in a hive. I have to press the honey from the comb and feed it back to them because I can not frame it up. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
I sure do enjoy watching your videos. 😊 Will you include in a video who the winner is? As much as I would like to be able to make it to Louisianan tomorrow that won't be possible 😋 but I would like to know who won. Thanks so much!!!
Great video! What a great way to pull a hive out of the floor space, must have been heavy to lift on your own? Wish I could be at the Q&A but I’d never get across the pond fast enough. You guys have a great day and I’m looking forward to seeing some footage of the day. Regards from the Emerald Isle.
That is a mighty big pond, and it would have been great had you been there, and for those unable to attend, next weeks adventure will bring all up to speed. till then, God's peace. Mr. Ed
Hi Jeff. I only saw one person speak on the "Location" i wonder if there is something that is bringing the bees back to that particular location over a number of years? Like you said in the video, he could have caulked the entry point. Why do bees return in swarms to particular buildings? That house seems to be a point of interest to bees over the years, is that indicative of bees or just a fluke of chance? Thanks for the video, and yes, please post a video of the winner, that would be nice.
It's the lingering scent of the old comb that draws new swarms to settle into the same place. That scent tells a swarm's scout bees that there was a successful colony here before, so this would be a good place for a new colony. There's no way to get rid of the scent, short of ripping out all the wood and replacing it.
What brings the bees back year after year is the scent of propolis and if any comb is left, that as well. I can clean the entire cavity of comb and wax, but the smell of propolis which is impregnated into the wood itself can never be removed. Even if it is covered over, after time, the bees will find it again. The person who comes up with how to get rid of propolis scent is going to be very rich. Thanks for watching. God's peace Jeremy. Mr. Ed
The model number isTG-165. I can't really say if there is a difference. It's all got to do with genetics, that's the important difference. thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
That bridge is mighty long, but sometimes it's just worthwhile for me to make the trip. We have a meeting on Thursday, something to think about. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
Thankfully Dion, I have yet to come across them. I'm sure I will encounter them one day, but until then, I'll enjoy these gentle bees. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother. Mr. Ed
I had checked the location in early May and there were no bees then. That means these bees had been here for only 6 months and they built all that comb. Thanks for watching. God's peace. Mr. Ed
Bees are attracted to where other bees have been due to the presence of the propolis....it attracts new swarms. That is why I highly recommend using old equipment when setting swarm traps. God's peace Nola. Mr. Ed

once again another great cut out--- i was noticing these ladies seem to be smaller than the normal bees you wrangle-- are they a different breed??- just curious if you noticed or know-- Merry Christmas and God bless....Glo

I remember this place, and those videos. Glad to hear the previous hives removed from this house are still thriving and growing. Great Friday video Mr. Ed. Thanks, and as always, God Bless my friend!
Thank you for your blessing and watching all those videos. Till the next one, God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed

Another good wrangle. Fun to watch someone that truly enjoys what they're doing. Thanks.
So glad you enjoyed the performance, I really did have a great time on this removal and having my good buddy Jim on it made it special for me. Thanks for your kind words and for watching. God's peace Steven.

As you were removing the brood section (11:14) I noticed that one of the sections had the outline of Moby Dick. Awesome as always- It Must Be Friday. 😊
Now that you say that, I see it too. This is your longest comment ever, you must have some extra time on your hands. God's peace brother.

Brother Jeff,
Thanks for the show!

It was the butterfly hanging on the wall that gave it away. God's peace Chelsea.

I know you have to feed the bees in winter, but just grab a brick of 5x5 in for me and box it up and send it. My mouth is watering watching that honey drip down. God made the bees and they make God's nectar. God bless bee wranglers especially Jeff.
This was some beautiful comb honey and the taste was very good, goldenrod. Thank you for your blessing and kindness. God's peace JJ.

Hey Jeff. Another great video. I really admire what you do with the bees, saving and rehoming them. Your letting us see the process from catching a swarm all the way to bottling the honey is a treat. And your comment section is full of wonderful people. It is a feel good channel all around. Thank you for what you have created here. JZ

Mr. Ed
I love seeing those big slabs of comb coming out.
You and me both, I can taste the honey already. God's peace Holly.

Way to go mr ed I’d definitely by putting some swarm boxes at that house next season

Mr. Ed
All the terms such as busy bee 🐝 and hive of industry become apparently clear in meaning when you see what those bees 🐝 achieve in such a short time.

Mr. Ed
Mount a swarm box on the outside to catch the next one ???
I would if the house was closer, it's over 50 miles away. Thanks for watching. God's peace Michael.

Jeff Horchoff Bees and there isn't a bee wrangler closer to them than you? That's worrying - you need to advertise for an apprentice.

Mr.

Hey, Jeff, my friend did a split on a really healthy hive and had a virgin queen for the new hive, both hives did very well foe a couple weeks and when he went to check on them, the new hive was totally empty and the one he split from only had about 40 bees and the old queen . What could have happened to the bees?
The bees, if not removed 3 miles away from original hive will go back to the original spot of hive.
joshua wa'me the original hive was only 3feet away and they didn’t go there
The bees came from about 200 miles away over a year ago....
Since I did not see for myself, my guess is there were mite issues going on. It's very hard to make a determination without inspecting it myself. Sorry. Thanks for watching. God's peace James.
Mr. Ed
Why not just put some bee boxes around the home near where they sneak in?
Because this location is just so far from me, over 50 miles, it is not worth my efforts to continually monitor them. It's just easier to remove the bees after they moved in. Plus, it gives me another opportunity to make a video on it. Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
You should sell these people calking .
I'm OK with them not calking, it just means I'll bee back. Thanks for watching. God's peace.

Mr. Ed
love watching you Jeff :)
Thank you so much for taking the time to follow along, I greatly appreciate it. Until the next time, God's peace.
Mr.
Merry Christmas and God's peace Colbert
Mr. Ed
@@JeffHorchoff Merry Christmas to you too Mr. Ed. You got me interested in bees and I appreciate that. It's a resource to be protected.

Mr. Ed
Thanks for watching, and I hope you will check out more of my bee wrangling/ bee rescues adventures and let me know what you think of them. By the way, I post a new video every Friday morning, and I look forward to hearing from you again soon. God's peace MaryAnn.

Mr. Ed
I`m in LaSalle parish above Pineville but won`t be able to make it.
What a shame you did not get to make it, it was so much fun. Still, you can catch my video next week and see some of the fun we had. It would have been great to have met you. God's peace Tom.

I am still too unsettled to wrangle unveiled. I don't recall you ever flinching or saying
'ouch" from a sting.
Mr. Ed
When the owner of the house said, "good night honey", he meant it. Another interesting video. Keep them coming
To bad he never hooked a spigot to the comb to get some fresh honey whenever he wanted. Heck, the floor was already opened for him. god's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
was that comb you removed thicker then they produce in your hives?
It looked thick. ;)

Hi Jeff what make and model FLIR are you using ? Do you find hives living in homes do better in winter or worse ?
The model number isTG-165. I can't really say if there is a difference. It's all got to do with genetics, that's the important difference. thanks for watching. God's peace.

Oh, I knew there had to be something big to get you to the south shore!
That bridge is mighty long, but sometimes it's just worthwhile for me to make the trip. We have a meeting on Thursday, something to think about. God's peace brother.

Hi Jeff, Do you ever come across Africanised bees? how do you deal with them if you do? thanks
Thankfully Dion, I have yet to come across them. I'm sure I will encounter them one day, but until then, I'll enjoy these gentle bees. Thanks for watching. God's peace brother.

@@JeffHorchoff Thanks for your reply Jeff, The lord is being very kind to you :)
I may have missed it, how long time since you last checked that place?
I had checked the location in early May and there were no bees then. That means these bees had been here for only 6 months and they built all that comb. Thanks for watching. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Have you considered giving Nick a swarm trap?
Yes, but it is way to far for me to check on regularly. I'm OK with pulling bees as long as he is. God's peace Philip.
Mr. Ed
Mr Ed why do they keep going to a place that’s had them before or is it just a coincidence
Bees are attracted to where other bees have been due to the presence of the propolis....it attracts new swarms. That is why I highly recommend using old equipment when setting swarm traps. God's peace Nola.

Came here from @thedodo on Instagram! This is quite interesting content!
Thank you very much for checking out my channel. If you are interested, I have over 350 videos, and almost all of them are on bee rescues. I hope you will check a few of them out and let me know what your thoughts are on them. Also, I post a new video every Friday. Looking forward to hearing from you again. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
Saw you, too, on The Dodo. Love your kindness to the bees!
look at all that dark comb, me thinks that you missed this one last time lol
Believe it or not, these bees had been in there only 6 months. The previous 3 removals all had the queen taken away with their daughters. God's peace Stan.
Mr. Ed
They were ready for winter!
Looks like I went and spoiled their little plans. You are going to love next weeks post, I mentioned your name. We did talk about you a lot though, and most of it was pretty bad. Sure wish you could have been there, you may have been able to defend yourself.God's peace brother.
Mr. Ed
Maybe it's better I don't know😂
once again another great cut out--- i was noticing these ladies seem to be smaller than the normal bees you wrangle-- are they a different breed??- just curious if you noticed or know-- Merry Christmas and God bless....Glo
I would say this is a very average size bee. I've seen smaller and larger ones, but these girls are super gentle. Thank you for your blessing and Christmas wish, Merry Christmas to you and yours as well Glo. God's peace.
Mr. Ed
What do you make from the wax?
We are using the wax in hand lotions, lip balm, beard balm, candles, and for the bees as well. Thanks for watching. God's peace Jeanne.
