This show in Houston was fantastic!, probably my favorite. met several diverse ethnic people on opposite end of political spectrum and we found solace in enjoying this common denominator Skinny Puppy in early presentation of their final tour.
Agreed, Oghr definitely put out vibe that he is in his best potential. After the alien head bit, at encore when he puts on that black cap (I want, ) his aura changed from the act of show (which is fantastic and appreciated) to genuine appreciation of his audience and was proud to provide one last go in person and not as the act/art. I enjoyed both sides of the coin.
@@gremlinaftermidnight4493 I liked the alien head bit, it was campy and silly and he knew it but it was fun for the sake of having an easy stage persona to wear, even the last couple of tours were decidedly dark, cool he and the band have decided to finally put it to rest and leave the audience more or less how they began, before the dark stage personas.
Don't you just love when you find Skinny Puppy in January 2023 and being from The Netherlands, knowing they're on their last tour? Damn, glad I still got to enjoy their music tho
They have had some pretty good tours with special effects and what not. They stripped it back for this tour which is really sad. Mythmaker tour, weapon tour along with too dark park tour among its best imo. Never too late to enjoy good music. Brap on and welcome to the puppy kennel!
