I believe that somewhere between Tidradio and the supplier, that they were either trying to make it in time for Prime Day and/or positioning it for the pre-holiday rush. But either way, you can't release a 2/3 functioning product without making absolutely sure it will work properly.
Not on Facebook, maybe a UA-cam video on the fixes. No I'm not going on facebook. Are you on the Alamo west repeater, my understanding is that it works out to Castroville?
Totally understand not getting on FB. I do monitor Bullis from time to time but primarily monitor Dunlay, Medina Lake and a simplex channel our group uses. And it does reach out our way but spotty in places.
Most fixed can be accomplished by updating the firmware. They have been in contact with many of our FB Group members and are definitely trying to get everything fixed.
Finally went back to the nasty horrible FCC website and finally figured out how to apply for the gmrs license! Now I wait for the email containing my call sign.

I've got all the issues fixed with mine & I hope they can officially release this amazing radio. The only thing slightly negative that I can now say about it, is that the FM is pretty poor, but I live out in rural Wisconsin.
They sent me one to review several weeks ago. I just did an intro video on it, then that night they emailed and said they were not approved for sale in US.
Great video as always I did see a comment on Amazon from someone that said they had a terrible experience with this radio i guess programming it or upgrading the software and other issues although they said it was a pre release unit so maybe that’s why they we’re having those issues who knows
I will say the test radio they sent me worked GREAT but it was unlocked. They should have sent the GMRS version, like they were going to release to the public so my feedback could have been more accurate.

I ordered one of each from Amazon last day of Prime Days. They shipped yesterday. I also downloaded all 3 versions of the PC software (GMRS Ham, Unlock), you may want to do that before they change something. They arrive on Tuesday and I'll be testing them with the software right away.

Are you using the stock antenna?

Oh geeeeez... it was disappointing BUT I'm certain they will get it fixed!
Do UA-cam search on this radio there's another UA-cam channel that tested the radio and he's got the reasons why the radio is canceled.
I've watched, I think they are assumptions and probably close to true. There are many issues that they are currently fixing.
I think if it's fixed it could be a great radio.
There are dozens of reviews for that thing. I don't believe any of them, so far.

The Ham. Status shows that it has not shipped but it was yesterday afternoon that I ordered it.
