As an English teacher having read the book of Mormon the level of literature skill is non existent. However there is a genius in it in that it has misled so many. Truly it is effective in this satanic effect.

    • @HarshitGarg-CRA
      @HarshitGarg-CRA Рік тому +4

Misled, how? I joined the church based on the truths found in the book of mormon. The literature skill is simple and this is a translation based on plates. The plates themselves can be complex but when translating to English, a much never lanaguage comparatively, it will appear simple. Heck, the Bible is simple. Truth is a very simple matter and that's what the Book of Mormon is. Also hearing the struggles of people isn't satanic... how so? It appears you aren't a teacher but a sheep who got into the Anti-Mormon cause and can't see beyond that.

Just because he wrote a book and created a new church/religion doesn't mean you have to jump to the label of satanic. Geez

@@HarshitGarg-CRA the Church is full of great people, but it teaches a polished history of Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon that is not accurate. There is no such thing as "Reformed Egyptian", the language Joseph claimed the golden plates were written in.
Joseph orally dictated the BofM while looking at a stone placed in a top hat, which he claimed was a "seer stone". Which he found nearby from a friend in a well.
Since a teen, he claimed to see hidden treasures. He led treasure hunts based on folk lore methods, earning fame and modest pay, but never ever found anything. He claimed the missing treasure was "slippery" due to guardian spirits. He even lead animal sacrifices to appease these spirits. The lore was that the spirit of whoever buried the treasure, guarded the treasure. Hence the concept of Moroni.
In 1826 he was taken to court for being a disorderly person, a "glass looker" and told to stop leading visionary hunts for gold.
In 1827 he claimed to find golden plates, which no one else was allowed to see. The 3 Witnesses state they did not see the plates with their natural eyes, but spiritual eyes only in a vision led them by Joseph Smith. Martin Harris and David Whitmer were known to frequently claim to see things. Oliver Cowdrey was willing to do anything for Joseph to be part of his cause, including lie, which he did often. Including, to defend Joseph in court.
The 8 Witnesses hefted plates while covered, but never admitted to flipping any uncovered plates seen with their natural eyes. Rather with their spiritual eyes only, which is the same as not actually having seen them. None of them would admit when questioned by others that they had actually seen the plates with their physical eyes.
The Church doesn't have the plates today because they never existed. There are zero archaeological artifacts from any Book of Mormon time civilizations. DNA tracing shows that Native Americans absolutely did not come from Jerusalem.
The First Vision was recorded 18 years after claimed to happen. All visitation accounts including Peter, James, and John were backdated into the record. And evidence strongly shows none of these visitation events actually happened.
The LDS temple endowment was taken from the Masonic Temple ritual. LDS Garments bear the Masonic symbols square, compass and ruler. This was the un-ignorable eye opener for me. Church admits Joseph took Endowment rituals from Masonry and has no link to Temple of Solomon or Bliblical times. That was a rumor at Joseph's time.
Once you find out that Joseph was...a fraud (sorry if that sounds harsh)...everything else quickly makes sense.
You don't have to wait for the next life to find out if the Church is true. Or continue to search for and proxy baptize billions of deceased people to save them. With the internet now, the truth claims that formerly served as pillars of Church Doctrine are now shown for what they are. Never true in the first place. It's wild, I know.
I recommend to watch more videos from Dan Vogel. Or visit www.ldsdiscussions.com
The only thing I'm loyal to is the truth. "And the truth shall set you free."

@@mrlds3202 In the book of Moroni, Joseph writes "that which brings one closer to Christ is good". He said this to justify his ideology of how it's okay to lie for the Lord. Or deceive people for a "good cause". I think it's a false litmus test for correct morality.
There used to be many idiosyncrasies with Church doctrine that I couldn't square. Egregious things like saying Native American people have dark skin because of their loathsome sinful predecessors. This is a false doctrine. It's destructive. It's uniquely Mormon.
Doctrine Covenant section 132 says that those who do not accept the doctrine of plural marriage will be the Servants of those who do, for eternity. This is a false doctrine. It's destructive. It is uniquely Mormon.
Brigham Young taught that black people are black because of the mark of Cain from committing murder. This is a false doctrine. It's destructive. it's racist. It is uniquely Mormon.

Mormonism is Masonry with little difference. It’s so obvious the LDS had to change their temple weddings because of the obvious ties because some morman men were already masons and this caused some uncomfortable questions to be asked to leadership.

The Egyptians stole the gospel from the Bible and created false gods and a false religion. Abraham is showing us what it is actually supposed to be. The true gospel. It explains it all. I received revelation from god that that is what it actually means. There is so much that goes into it. It’s like a code that only true Bible knowers can figure out. It’s absolutely incredible. No one knows it though except a small few. It reveals so much about the story of Joseph of Israel. But it’s almost coded. You have to put it all together. some general remarks:: Thurlow Weed in his autobiography devotes a chapter to William Morgan. He says Knights Templar Freemasons confessed to him they murdered Morgan . Weed was instrumental in forming the anti masonic party and was its first candidate, as I recall.
    J. Smith roomed with the Harris's. He married Her in C. 1838... Lucinda Morgan Harris (Smith) was the widow of William Morgan. Mr Harris was a Freemason. (So were J Smiths dad and brother Hyrum) After JS bit the dust Lucinda married JS! for eternity. And she married Mr Harris "For Time". (The Nauvoo Endowment Ceremonies a Documentary History). Lucinda was Mormonism's first to practice Mormon polyandry.

Some argue that Spaulding's manuscript was rewritten by Smith and Rigdon, but that is a stretch.

I enjoyed watching/listening to this, specially since Dan never seems to inject any personal beliefs or opinions and just lays out the straight undeniable information from the specific times and peoples! That is always the safest and most factual way of going about these kinds of videos in which a historical topic or issue is being questioned, examined or studied! If I were to actually go into this a little deeper though I would definitely highlight a bit more on the fact that Joeseph Smith and his family have definite ties to Freemasonry, along with many other early leaders and followers! Along with the fact that many of the books teachings and "knowledge", along with much of the Morman secret/private rituals and ceremonies, considered by them to be of great importance and are performed within specific rooms and areas of their temples/churches with specific members, are very similar if not the same as certain Freemason rituals/ceremonies! When examining the two its almost impossible to mistake the similarities between the two! So yes their are most definitely both pro masonic and anti masonic aspects to Mormonism! Therefore I would think it to be important to remember certain aspects and beliefs of Freemasonry, such as their high regard to the duality of life and everything within it! Usually symbolized visually/physically by their prominent display of the black and white checkard board on certain garments and within most temples! The black and white checkard board pattern specifically symbolizing an inherent necessity for the duality of all things such as good can only exist, and is just as important as evil! One can find these dualities within most aspects of life or this world! Therefore it is well known that Freemasons also believe in applying this to their dealings and personal involvement when it comes to them shaping or influencing worldly matters such as directing government and/or social matters! The Freemasons will purposely infiltrate and play both sides of an issue or political party, etc... So it shouldn't really be to much of a surprise that the Mason early Mormons might have very well played both sides and made Mormonism seem to be both pro masonic and anti masonic at the same time, so that they could more easily go along with whichever narrative best fits them and their agendas/growth/influence during whatever specific period of time! This is what I believe to be the truth based on the examination of involving further research!

This is an interesting take. Have you watched that Altiyan Child’s video?
The black and white chequered pavement or carpet does represent the duality of life and the occurrence of opposites in nature, but it doesn’t necessarily mean that Masons hold evil to be as important as good (or atleast in my view - evil exists, don’t get me wrong, but it’s not what I think about when I see that pavement)
If you want to debate, the guys on the Freemasonry Reddit are much better than I am, plus you can get an international viewpoint.

Amazing how Mormon theology changes with the wind. When US. Congress refused to allow Utah statehood, due to polygamy & pedophilia .God came to the Mormon church and told them to give up multiple wives & sex with children... In1978, Jessie Jackson led a planned Salt Lake City protest of Blacks non admission to the priesthood & the temple. 100,000 Black men were organizing a protest in Utah of racist Mormon church teachings; Then, that same year, God then came to the Mormon church and told them black people were now okay. For 180 years, Mormon church taught hateful things towards Gays. Now in 2023, after bad press, God has told the Mormon church to back off the condemnation of Gays...Interesting timing of God's revelations & heat the Mormon Church was feeling.

Ive found very little connections linking JWs to freemasonry online but have personal knowledge that could be of value but do not dare disclose this to public domains until a more safe time. Religion and its influences will be done away with in generations to come as people realise there is no intermediate between the creator and creation, and no man that fears or worships institutional organisations could ever be acceptable by men. Moroni does say that the record was preserved to come forth in our day and was written for our benefit. He saw our day and sent warnings for it. It doesn’t surprise me that the warning of the Book of Mormon would be relevant to the time and issues of some of the issues of the day. “Secret combinations” is a curious phrase and it’s worth asking the question raised here. What’s more important is asking God if the book has relevance to your life and will it point you in the way of truth and light? For me it does. I receive truth from God in all the sources it comes from. Any truth God has for His children comes under scrutiny and is most often rejected. I’ll watch part two to see if Dan ever has a point. Thanks for this very interesting presentation. I've always wondered how it could be that JS changed his opinions on so many topics on such a massive scale in only a few years. Including going from a condemnation of "secret combinations" to an adoption of masonic rituals in the temple ceremony. It seems to me that his mind possessed a fluidity which allowed him to immerse himself fully into the thought life of his environment and then to come up with a creative synthesis which was subject to change because this process never stopped. I think this process itself was what he experienced as prophetic revelation, not necessarily the content of it.

However, it seems any discussion of Masonry in early American history must include the war between Freemasonry and organized religion, especially the Catholic and Lutheran Churches. Masonry was perceived as the friend of small protestant religions. In fact, the very similar Knights of Columbus was organized by the Catholic Church to offset the Masonic threat. There are 2 kinds of Masonic Bible.
They are almost always a KJV.
The 1st kind is a KJV bible with a cover, with a square and compasses or Masonic motifs on the cover. There are no other differences to any other KJV bible. Most bible printer have a version with a cover embossed with the above mentioned symbols, specifically for Freemasons - just as they will have covers with army camouflage for members of the armed forces who want a special bible.
The second kind is a bible made specifically by a Masonic printing house. This is also a KJV bible but it will invariably have a few pages at the front with bios of various characters mentioned in Freemasonry like Solomon, King of Israel, Hiram, King of Tyre, Hiram Abif, etc. also descriptions of the First and Second Temple at Jerusalem, and mentions of other things in Freemasonry - with the relevant scripture. That’s it, usually a few pages and completely separate from the OT. Sometimes between the OT and NT in the book there is a section for you to record your Masonic dates and highlights. The most famous of these bibles is one published in America as a family bible by Heirloom Publishers. Because America, there is also a section of military dates, ranks and deployments and also family records (marriage, births, deaths, etc.). This is an incredibly popular bible for Lodges and masons for the above reasons.
If you buy a Masonic bible expecting to find a bunch of books and verses that aren’t in a regular KJV bible, you’ll be pretty disappointed.

having being a member of both access to this information is very easy to get a hold of. This era is still taught in the LDS church and still a story floating around in the Masonic lodges in Illinois, but definitely not taught. The George Washington bit was pretty good but it is well established that Washington was talking about Adam Weishaupt and his Bavarian Illuminati, who tried to infiltrate Freemasonry for political gain because believed that Freemasonry in combination with his Illuminati would give him that power (see the documentary illuminated 2019). The quote was in connection to that.

Thanks for your comment. While it is quite certain that Joseph Smith's brother Hyrum was a member of Palmyra's Mount Moriah Lodge, the evidence for the father's membership is weak.

freemasons are the foot soldiers for the illumanti. washington knew this he was a member! there are paintings of him with the hidden hand. that is a freemason sign. they speak through signs and symbols. especially in art. its no coincidence that the illumanti is birthed in 1776.

Moroni… sounds like plural for “moron.” Perhaps that should’ve been the first clue. 🤦‍♀️
