- Here’s is a nice cheap oem accessory that used to be standard. For $10 you can’t go wrong. Makes closing the trunk easy and prevents those fingerprints on your paint. Simply cut a slit in the trunk liner and your set. The car already has the necessary holds for this to clip into. Let me know if you have any questions on installing. Thanks

Awesome thanks so much for sharing! Just installed mine, I had a little trouble getting the clips back in but figured out, you pull it apart, squeeze the tip then slide it all in there.

Mine just got delivered today. Bought my Accord about a month ago and couldn't believe my old Ford Fusion had a trunk handle and this car didn't. Will be installing today so I won't have to muck up the paint with fingerprints or have to shut my trunk by pulling the locking mechanism.

Blow my mind at the things they left off this car at that price point...Don't get me started on door lights.. I mean my 2014 Ridgeline Sport has lights in all four doors! I just ordered mine, my 9th gen had one and I always used it, now to go to my trunk and immediately reach for it lol. I have to use to latch close because I don't wanna touch the paint

Hey HondaJon does the trunk handle still function fine with the trunk hydraulics you installed? Or does the trunk pop back up a lot?
It’s works good. It’s just takes more muscle for sure to close it.
Honda Jon Lol is it like a regular amount of muscle or is closing the trunk gonna be a workout if I get the hydraulics?
It’s akward for sure. I find myself not using the handle anymore lol

The cheapest place is probably eBay. Look up trunk liner retainer clips. Or maybe even your local dealer. They are only some cents for each one. 👍🏻

Got it and installed today. Thanks for the guidance on the right place to cut and how to tuck in the edge. Looks absolutely stock! Any time you touch your finish and there's even the slightest amount of dirt on it you're effectively grinding it in. Awesome I won't have to touch the exterior to close my trunk from now on.

What is benefit
You don’t have to touch the paint to close the trunk
It's meant for extreme cold climates. Ice and sleet on the trunk. That's why its standard on all Canadian models.
