The hiding spot in the passenger floor is great, can use it to store cash/jewelery if you find yourself in a rough area
** 2click unlock button to open all windows and sunroof roll down trick**: Using the key to reverse this action is unnecessary. If you 2click the same on the LOCK button then the whole action is reversed and all windows and sunroof close - plus the mirrors auto park! You also get partial open/close if you take your finger off the 2click.

It is amazing how you pay so much money buying a new car nowadays and the dealer hands you the keys with a pat on the back and sends you off. I don't have any keyholes on me 2022 and had no idea where I would use the key from the fob till this video. When I got my Mustang in 2001 I was shown everything about the function of it. Granted it is much less than this car has to offer but they walked me through getting the top fully up and down and how to secure the tanou cover properly. I'm sure they don't even care about showing that kind of stuff anymore. After your stent of 5-8 hours at the dealer they don't assist at all after that contract is signed. I would have to fault to crash course training they get. My salesman didn't even know that the cars had the fob roll-down ability. I found it out by mistake and asked them if it was normal. After speaking to a 2nd person they informed me of how this function worked.

That trunk lock switch is cool I have seen it but never took the time to find out about it That’s great if a valet has to park my car So far only i have ever driven it and I don’t really trust anyone to drive it as my lip might be missing after lol Great Vid Keep on keeping the Honda community educated my friend Enjoy the weekend to you the wife and kids

The build number coffin is where I stash my Rimguard key in a box lol. That trunk switch is a pain the first time you deal with trunk not opening

You know the weird thing is that I've only had my 2021 accord Sport for about 4 months and I was on my way out from work to the parking structure when my key fob didn't even want to open the car doors The red light would illuminate on the key fob but nothing worked I clicked all the buttons even the panic the trunk and nothing so I got in the car I started the car but no warning lights for like the the battery remote came on. I know my 2019 civic sport Sedan has that low battery keyfob indicator in the gauge cluster but i Don't know if the 2021 accord sport has that feature.....just wanted to mention incase anyone here in the comments has experienced this

Some really good tips in here that I didn’t know and I’ve had my 2018 Accord for 5 years now. Lol. My one question though regarding the trunk lock is once I hand the car over to valet they will now have the key fob in hand. Can’t they now just open the glove compartment and re-activate the switch and then access the trunk?
They can but in that case you would take the key out of the fob so they wouldn’t have the key.

You can but need a jailbroken phone to allow it. People do it all the time.
Question… on the passenger side trim yours says accord . Did you purchase that or it came with it ?

Is there a way to start the car with the physical key if the fob dies?
If the fob battery dies you just take the fob and use it to
Push the button to start the car. It sounds strange but they design it so there is a little juice to send a signal to start the car. I wouldn’t do it too many times though because it will eventually die and you won’t be able to start it.

So I bought a remote start oem Honda key fob brought it in to get programmed a few weeks ago but noticed they didn’t cut a new key? Over $135 with tax to program just the remote when it says they cut the key on the work orders.

How does someone open up all car doors with the fob for a what year 2020 Honda in 2003 Honda insight?
At 1:40 you tell us how to unlock the trunk if the car battery is dead. That works IF the passenger compartment doors are unlocked, however, if the doors are locked (with a dead battery) you still have a problem because you can not unlock the doors with the key because the key locks are not mechanical, they are electronic and you have a dead battery. SORRY
The key lock is mechanical. It literally moves the lever to lock and unlock
Do you know about the the wire in the truck to pop open the gas filler door?
Yeah. That’s definitely good to know if you lose power snd can get the filler door open 👍🏻
I have a question, I was trying to adjust my trunk on the left side or driver's side to make the tail lights line up by spinning those rubber stoppers on both sides. I am unable to get the driver side to line up perfectly? Any ideas?

Thanks for the tips which I knew all of them already of course. 😏 I just wish that the Accord key fob worked further away though. I remembered my 19 Pilot key fob working further away for sure. No point of remote start if you have to be close to the car hehe.

Thanks bro so much. I appreciate that. There is a button on the left side of the steering wall where you can turn the collision mitigation system off or go into the infotainment screen. It’s called collision mitigation and you can turn it off. Let me know if that helps you out

My 2007 Accord had the same feature that put the windows down. I thought that was pretty neat back then😁

@@HondaJon I'm sure a lot of people that buys them used do not know that as well. It was something the salesman demonstrated to me when I bought it. They also wanted to install a LoJack theft protection on it as they were bad about getting stolen. Hondas are very popular and are a Target 🎯 on car thieves list.
Any car I’ve had with that feature I make sure to disable- I’ve had the button accidentally get pushed in my pocket and the windows roll themselves down in the rain
@@mralphakilo2304 I have never used the feature.. You have to do a couple of steps or so to make all that happen.. It would be impossible for me to do that if the fob or the key fob was in my pocket. When I park my car in a parking lot I always lock the door with the inside door locks as not to have my codes out in the air to be captured by a suspected thief. I'm talking about push start as well with smart entry. Some cars just have push start and no smart/touch entry.
@@charlesjackson1700 that's good to lock from inside. I have never done this but only downside is if you sit the fob inside car you could potentially lock yourself out of your car. Using door lock transponder signals can't be captured.
Where did you buy the Accord door sill protectors?
From Amazon. There is someone selling a set of them. I saw them. They did the same thing and cut the wires. They are the only ones I’ve seen since. They look awesome.

Are the brakes REALLY TOUCHY ?. My 2018 Sport will give you whiplash. They say nothing is wrong.
They can be. I always felt that the brakes did grab quick. I had to get used to them.
Where did you get those floor mats?
These are the OEM Honda ones. Any Honda dealer or a Honda parts saw online will have them

@@tre831 all weather Mats that go with the trunk pan he has. They’re very nice for folks who live in northern states where it snows. Keeps the carpet from getting wet and yucky or if you live by the beach it keeps the sand at bay 🤣 but yes they are a great accessory if it didn’t come with your car when purchased.
