I was at a work party when a Sinatra song came on but the voice sounded different. I tapped my foot and I was talking to a few people. Out of the corner of my eye I see the Sinatra album cover with huge sideburns. I immediately understood what was going on. Nobody else realized and I didn't want to mention it but the schlatt version worked wonderfully. It was a nice version of the original song

I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people watching this channel. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son has been watching since Christmas in 2021. By the end of the week he had watched 30 hours of your content. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching UA-cam. So i decided to make a google account and search your channel to see if I could maybe watch alongside him. I loaded the channel page, picked a video and started playing but I was stuck on where the humor is. I asked my Son for help and he hosted a watch party for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This channel has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This channel reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.

Hi schlatt, I'm currently in school for music production. As someone who can't sing for my life, I've gotten pretty good at using software outside of auto tune to pitch correcting my voice and keeping a natural feel to it. If you did this on your own, I recommend using Melodyne, it's pretty easy to learn but it can be a bit tedious to organize and pitch correct. Aside from that, and depending on the song, sometimes it helps to layer 2 takes with similar timings and tones over eachother, because the small differences between the takes gives the vocals a fuller feeling. Anyways I hope you keep doing stuff like this!

For a while I was like “this My Way cover has gotta be ai, there’s some auto tune covering up flaws,” but then no! At 6:45 I can hear all the flaws of a genuine vocal performance by a human! Schlatt actually gave us a song cover his own way!

@@eyywannn8601 like, his attempt at belting when he starts the part that goes “for what is a man” is shaky and doesn’t have the same enunciation as I learned how to do in chorus and other singing classes. If you compare the way he sings “man” to the way a professional singer like Frank Sinatra sings “man” there’s a slight difference. And Schlatt’s cover wasn’t even bad, I just enjoyed realizing I could tell it wasn’t AI.
It's just simply poetic that of all the songs to manually cover, the one you went with was "my way" by Frank Sinatra.
You took control away from the AI Covers and even made yours sound BETTER.

I am a 45 yo father, probably one of the oldest people watching this channel. I am a single father to my Son, who is 14 now. My son has been watching since Christmas in 2021. By the end of the week he had watched 30 hours of your content. This was horrible for me, as it was already hard for me to find ways to spend time with my son, as he is always out with his friends or just watching UA-cam. So i decided to make a google account and search your channel to see if I could maybe watch alongside him. I loaded the channel page, picked a video and started playing but I was stuck on where the humor is. I asked my Son for help and he hosted a watch party for me to join. I loved it as it was the best time I had spent with my Son since my wife had died. This channel has ever since brought me and my son closer again and now we actually spend time together outside the house together as well. This channel reminded me that there's fun to be had in everything, and it has brought both me and my Son many happy memories.

Hi schlatt, I'm currently in school for music production. As someone who can't sing for my life, I've gotten pretty good at using software outside of auto tune to pitch correcting my voice and keeping a natural feel to it. If you did this on your own, I recommend using Melodyne, it's pretty easy to learn but it can be a bit tedious to organize and pitch correct. Aside from that, and depending on the song, sometimes it helps to layer 2 takes with similar timings and tones over eachother, because the small differences between the takes gives the vocals a fuller feeling. Anyways I hope you keep doing stuff like this!
Melodyne is a really good plugin. It did pretty well for making some song projects as well as cupcakke remixes
