Great video, however having had a career in architecture, one of the first things you learn is the fact that any triangle design has the greatest amount of building material with the least amount of interior space. That is why 'A' frame structures have the least amount of interior space for it's size. A circle design has the greatest amount of interior space for the least amount of exterior walls. It would be great to see you do a circle design! Thanks for your video.

I wish I had written down the measurements for the bumpout, because others have asked too. But it just kind of made it up as I worked on it. Maybe this winter I’ll have some time to re-figure the measurements and make supplementary plans.
Its like what I'm doing which is rebuilding from the frame up an old 1978 GMC rv everything but motor drivetrain and frame is all recycled materials that would have normally been thrown out or scrapped is now being used to rebuild this rv. ! I even found an glass sink very art deco and when I did price a similar hand blown glass sink it was priced very expensive ! So look around check out the places that's being renovated and demolished you will be amazed at what you will find and get for free like brand new steel studs !

I love it as much as I could see. How about a slow pan of the intera . I have a 16 x 16 x 10 tall half A frame . It started as a 8 x 16 and just add the 8 x 16 with a 6 ft back wall after 5 1/2 years.

So inspired by this build. I saw a garden hut/shed with a living roof and on wheels similar to yours & now your build on wheels!!!! Your idea would allow me to build in my area too without being a permanent structure. I find Deek’s builds and now yours…rather cozy and just plain fun!! This would be very livable. I suppose that depends on what you consider “robust”… Construction-wise, it’s pretty sturdy. Just last night it survived a pretty strong wind storm. Size-wise, I would not necessarily recommend it for full-time living, but as a getaway cabin it’s perfect for one person… *maybe* two.

Looks very cozy as a base camp for two😊 I like it’s asymmetrical design.
Chalets and or A-Frames were designed to Deflect heavy snows (Swiss Alps) in order to protect the homes structural integrity.
Yes. The snow slides right off it. Never gets very thick except on the awning and bumpout.
