And what would a well-made Ultra magnus look like? The white robot is part of him. As the G1 was, that is how he was conceived, with that main idea. This is how the original Diaclone Powered Convoy was originally, I mean the idea, and this is a tribute, therefore it is properly designed.
At first when I saw the thumbnail I was like, "Wait he reviewed this already!" But then I saw the alt mode and realized this was a different mold LOL I like this mold better actually!

I already have 2 Ultra Magnuses from the Siege and Netflix series, and now they make a third with changes that don't fix any of the issues I had with the figure... and yet it will still probably end up on my shelf.

YEAH for parts forming Ultra Magnus! Anytime I see the Albino Prime I know for a fact it is Not PRIMETIME its just Magnus streaking without His proper armour unless He's MP-22. Kingdom Leader's UM's "Goalie Pads" are much better than Siege's however the same issue with the inner leg could have used more part forming to cover that. Yet another great "MAGNUS!" review.
At first I loved Siege because of the RiD 2001 homage; but I just got Kingdom Magnus two days ago and he is my go to Magnus now. Other than SS Blackout, Kingdom Ultra Magnus is my favorite figure in my collection now.
Coming back to this toy after now getting the new 86, robot mode holds up decent but the truck mode is so bad lol. PS: Thanks for always doing the Transformations in the videos so much easier than trying to understand the paper instructions lol.
Saw this guy at Target the other day, was hesitant about picking him up because I already have a Combiner Wars Ultra Magnus, but man this figure is awesome and probably the best non-masterpiece rendition of a G1 Magnus. Super solid figure. Definitely worth picking up.
I think it would be cool if it came with a repainted earthrise prime as the cab with extra tabs for the resto of the Magnus armor to connect to. That way the truck mode would look way better.
I had siege Magnus but when I saw this on the shelf at Target those colors pop so good I had to cop it. It really fits much better with the 86 SS figs. The upgrade I had for siege Magnus matches better too so it adds the right height. Vehicle mode does blow but the bot mode is noice!
So we've had both cybertronian and earth modes for Optimus, Ironhide, Ratchet, Prowl, Sideswipe, Mirage, Ultra Magnus, Megatron, Starscream, Thundercracker, Skywarp, Barricade, Soundwave and his Cassettes. Bumblebee, Cliffjumper, Arcee, Wheeljack, Sunstreaker, Trailbreaker, Thrust, Dirge, and Ramjet already had earth modes in the Earthrise line. ER Astrotrain is just an unchanged Siege figure. Now I only wish they'd make an Earth mode Hound in the Kingdom line.
We just got a Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus, which is a repaint and slight remold of this figure, and the best part about it is that it can double as Delta Magnus, what a treat!
I still can’t understand why his feet have to stock out AND are crooked. I still like the way you did the front wheels on Siege Magnus. I had to that with mine as well. Gives that extra “space truckin’” look 🤓
I’m surprised nobody has made an upgrade kit that replaces the arms so that the hands fold away. Especially when the DNA kit gives you COMPLETELY NEW LEGS
i wish they kept the same connections the siege trailer as it was and just gave us the cap as it is here, the siege one felt like one actual vehicle were it looks like a big chunk was blasted out between the cap and the trailer, doesnt help given the new molding that the hands are exposed
You should get the BPF Toy Deformation Lieutenant Tongtian as well and do a review on it. Excellent build quality too. It goes perfect with the kbb MP10v Optimus Prime. 👍🏼
Ever since they revealed Earthrise Starscream as Studio Series 86 Star Scream, I combined my Earthrise/Kingdom with SS86. Now I can justify getting Kingdom Magnus
I was debating on getting the Siege guy when he released back then, but I just didn't like the truck cab or the head without the Ultra Magnus Shades™ This new Kingdom guy fixes those issues for me! Hopefully I'll get the chance to pick him up!

My problem with this line's Ultra Magnus is that he's basically just a huge partsformer trailer that turns into an armor for albino Optimus. Couldn't they have done the engineering a little bit better?
The problem is that people have and always will associate Ultra Magnus with both Albino Prime and the fully armored version. People were mad that the Masterpiece didn't have an Albino Prime mode.
A car transporter that can't transport cars, nice. Did we really need another ultra magnus so soon? Was there no other character they could have used???
With the figure in hand, do you have any guesses as to the purpose of those strange short slotted nubs on the front of the truck cab? In all the photos and videos I've seen they look completely out of place and don't serve any purpose with clipping on the armor, and they break up the shape of the truck cab in an odd way.
I haven't gotten any of these figures but I like the more earthly G1 look better than the Cybertronian G1 seige look. I think this will look great with Earthrise Optimus Prime!

i got this today, its pretty awesome... and... I used the UltraMganus add ons (the carrier parts xD) on autobot Ark in robot mode. And it looks awesome. Since you have ports on the carrier, you can add stuff, and i added guns, and those shoulder things, i place headmasters there. I used the arms parts fro Autobot ark to hold in hands, and there i can place big guns made of weaponizers and fossilizers there. If you get another ultramagnus, you can make station battle out of the "add ons" on the ark in ship mode.

We need an upgrade kit for the hands to flip and clean up the alt mode for both Siege and this Earthrise.

The cards are actually called golden disc cards and there are 16 of them and each one when you peel off the top it reveals a possible future
