The 2023-2024 Honda HR-V is not a small car lol. It's around the size of a RAV4 aka a family SUV. Also it's dreadfully slow. According to theTopher, a legendary car reviewer, it took him almost 13 seconds to do zero to 60 in the 2023 Honda HRV
I rented one, and it exceeded my expectations. It’s comfortable, good-handling, fuel-efficient, and peppy. The only downside would be the reputation of its CVT. Other than that, I really enjoyed my time renting one!
You're right about the Altima. It's also cognitive bias. I pass by Altimas every day and people drive perfectly fine. Somewhere along the line it got trendy to find the worst Altimas/drivers and put it on the internet. You could do that with any car.
The Apple logo has a crapton of black tape. And on the left you can clearly see "iPad"
🔥🔥🔥
HRV is such a good looking small SUV. Its also not that small.
According to theTopher, it takes 13 seconds to do zero to 60 in the 2023-2024 HRV. Too slow!
Agreed too slow but it does get an IIHS top safety pick plus which the Altima is not. @@sachinnair91
It is society's fault. It's society's fault in that some Altima drivers think it's fine to drive with temp tags that expired 1 year ago while cutting traffic on the highway. It's not classism. I don't mind an Altima driving like a civilized person and I think most people would say the same. I mind the ghost Altimas with no valid plates (probably no insurance as well) that drive like they just escaped a psych ward.
Its such a great car that's why they are stop making them at the end of 2025.
Euro HRV looks waaaay nicer in and out. N American version is a fat turd.
The Altima gets a bad rap because one simple word CVT
And this is ENTIRELY NISSANS FAULT
Altima's main rivals, Accord and Legacy, also have CVTs
oh I thought it was the stigma of the stereotypical Altima owner with the 18%a APR loan hence Altima vibes. Then again I owned the first gen Altima in SE trim with the wing and ground effects. That car was okay. Not fast by any means but a good appliance. The Maxima I had after that was a hoot but then I got rear ended and my car was totalled.
ALTIMAS arent bad. They just dont really stand out in sedan world. The only sedan I see even less on the roads is the Subaru Legacy
Atlima take correct, HRV is too big
You're spot-on about the classism, but counterpoint: the Altima is just a terrible car. It is possible to have empathy for its drivers while acknowledging that the car just...sucks.
