A legendary angler for sure and an excellent fishing educator to boot! We enjoy working with him on a regular basis. More Ott to come on the channel soon, including a highly-detailed winter Shad Rap video.

Exact water temp would be specific to the body of water you fish but typically you'll be looking for water temps crossing into the 50's. A general rule of thumb is to start looking for the first shallow weed growth. Specifically emergent vegetation like lily pads. If you have a shallow bay with a muck bottom preferably with a south facing aspect, those tend to warm up faster and there you could even fish the shoreline edges of bulrush and reeds before the pads come up. As the weeds come up and you start encountering fish on topwater, make a mental note of the temperature you observe. You may be able to find fish with a swim jig or vibrating jig first as fish move shallow. Once they push tight to the bank, that's when the frog is on!
So many good ones on the market these days. The Terminator Walking Frog Jr. used in this video is an excellent product, the SPRO Bronzeye frogs are good performers as well.
Use a Spro Brozeeye or better yet a river2sea frog. Quality!!!! I got a KVD smaller strike king frog . It's to light for casting reel, at least for me. Wtf you want the frog soft ... So it collapses to expose hooks .....
The Terminator frog is right up there with Spro and Live Targets. Probably the only frog that walks right out of the package without having to trim the legs.
All i do is frog fish....yet i still watch this vid cause you guys always can give little tips no matter how experienced someone is
That’s a Bassmaster Classic champion right there. Congratulations Ott 🏆
Ott is the man, I love that guys style.

My wife says these videos are useless, but I just learned the word durometer. Thanks Wired 2 fish!
Michael Howell tell your wife to go back to her reality tv
Ha! You're welcome and thanks for tunning in Michael Howell!
To people who fish they kinda are useless. I'm here to see what lure he's using just to pass on it.
My husband says I care too much about fishing. Maybe our spouses don’t know everything 🤷🏼♀️
@@theonetheonlyw5483 Can you repeat that in English?
Got to love hollow body frogs . Love me some top water blow ups . Great information as you always do. Good Video man .
Great video and advice on frog fishing. This inspires me to make my next frog fishing video even better. Thanks Wired2Fish!
Thanks Blue Line Fishing. Perfecting video is an impossible task but it's fun getting better.
The way he skips the frog next to that tree I could watch that all day 😍
And with a little practice, you can be doing all day long yourself.

fishing like a boss😊😊😊
WOW👍👍👍
SavageGear Lily Ninja's have replaced all my frogs and for good reason, especially the white mouse. They're the best I've used in my years fishing.
Good to know, we'll definitely be giving the Lily Ninja a try!
Hats off to the editor for cutting to the dictionary definition of durometer lmao
🤣 Thanks for the shout out to the editor!
Beauty!!!
Agreed!🤘
I have only done well up north with one. In deep south not so well. I hardly ever get hits!
Será que aguenta as Trairas aqui do Brasil

Cool. Thanks Spencer, you're the man!
Love a frog but you can fish a weightless swimbait it will come threw it better than a frog
We love a weightless swimbait too but in our opinion, nothing matches a hollow body frog for fishing clean through heavy cover.

noone else thinks his gloves are douchey? lol its like wearing weight lifting gloves for curls
Provides important sun protection for anglers that spend a ton of time on the water. It's real common in the saltwater world too.
