+Trey Schroeder It's a Bully Wa or a Bully Wa 2. Regardless, don't buy it. R2S is good for one thing and one thing only, Whopper Ploppers. I bought all of their frogs, including the diving frog and ended up giving them away to people.
I have a solid black spro hollow body frog, not the popping frog from the video, I was thinking about coloring the bottom a bright green or white thinking that would help the visibility from the fish's p.o.v. the eyes are red, but solid black otherwise. Should I leave it alone or add some color to the bottom?
so I have to ask, I am certainly not a very good bass fishermen, but I have caught my fair share, from the fishes point of view it's only sees the bottom of the frog ,am I correct in this statement? if so why all the colors on top, I would understand "leg" colors. does it really matter that the top of the frogs have all the glitter and eyes and all that, please help me understand this, anyone??
Not true at all... they see the sides and sometimes the top as well when the frog first hits the water and depends on your retrieve they will c the sides.
+Danny Squirrel Yes this can be true, however depending on the retrieve the fish sees the sides and we have all had a fish blow up on the frog as soon as it hits the water I think that's when they might catch a glimpse of the top but I always jus go with white, black, and a natural.
dylan ward I tend to only use them in sparse cover (where they can swim more) as opposed to heavy cover/ thick mats where I use a more traditional frog.
+dylan ward Man, everyone bought them when they came out and brought them out with my friends and I (we all use Kopper's exclusively) and those guys were having trouble getting bites and when they did, couldn't set the hook. I've rarely heard anyone say a good thing about them. Also, we have a lot of snakeheads and bowfin up here and apparently the Lunkerhunts get ripped in half really easy. Koppers hold up a bit better. Spro are another brand that just get ripped in half really easy.
I just purchased a Yellow "Hollow Body Tiny Toad" H2O Express with the Eagle Claw hook at Academy Sports ($3.99). I was trying to tease a couple of Bass I saw hanging out in a lagoon in a local city park. No luck but I do like the way it works and hoping to try again early in the morning.
I'm watching this shaking my head and then thankfully, you nail #1 with what is by far the best frog on the market. I honestly won't fish much other than Kopper's man. They're just amazing. I do have two of the Rojas Spro frogs, but they're the big 1oz frogs. Like them for getting out into some nasty areas and getting surprise big boys. I've had 2 pounders hit them and 6 pounders hit em. My Kopper's are my babies though. That third one you held up ... I think I have 10 of them sitting here next to me and 2 in my box. They're money where I live.
That Kopper's Hollow Body Frog truly is a phenomenal frog. It is damn realistic, soft, and hell, it even has a cool texture to it (not that it matters). Though i personally use the medium-sized one, it still is a beast of a frog and bass go nuts for them! Even some of the local bullfrogs will chase after them out of their territory X) Great review!
I like to use the double uni-knot. It holds up pretty well, and with the $10 Kopper's Frog that i have on that line, i don't want to have any chance of losing it.
Hey there ares two more hollow body frogs you need to know about there the super sized version and that. Is manns Goliath frog and snag proof frog Zilla I didn't like the rubber legs On it so I change them out for skirt legs to make it 9 inches long now and added some Rattler's for more sound also found mini suction cup discs i push over the eyelit to turn any hollow body frog into a poppin frog
I'm very fond of the Stanley top toad at the moment. have you tried them yet? found 16 colors and they're great for walking. lots of commotion and water displacement
Hey Kevin, I picked up one of the Spro Poppin Frogs just like that dark brown color you showed here -- does it appear to you that Koppers has stopped producing the 510 brown/tan colored frog? I can't seem to find that exact color any longer...
@Kevin Bullington i just asked on another video if you had some suggestions for frog and you had already posted. Thanks for the info you got a new subscriber!
+SmokIn Swimbait oh gosh.... Then I'm not sure. Booyah works pretty good too, and they have colors in black. I've recently tried the Ima dabeat frog and caught a 4 and 5 pounder on the same day.
Kevin Bullington Hey Kevin, I was wondering if you know if they have the Koppers LiveTarget at BPS? I can't find it online and I am not sure if they have it in store...Thanks! Keep up the great videos!
When was the last time you saw a frog "walking", dancing on the water? Show me a video. Your right not walkiing a frog. Cant stand when i see ppl walking frogs! Bass laugh at you.
Dsm4g631Evo they aren’t laughing when they get that hook in the mouth, though. Frogs can imitate anything. All that matters is the color on the bottom (what the bass see). Walking a white bottom frog imitates an injured or dying baitfish and that’s how I get most of my frog bites.
I think scum frogs work really well. They're only about 3$ online and they have lots of colors. I cast it right in the middle of Lilly pads and twitch it and walk it and I catch fish. I also have a snag proof tournament frog but that's more of a walking frog. And lastly I have a spro popping frog and that's great too.
Very good video. Nice captures with those models of frogs.
What was the white and yellow frog in the right box
Trey Schroeder River2Sea Bully Wa

Do an updated version of this series!
What tackle box are those ?
Please make a video of all of your frogs!!!!

Ever heard about hard-bodied frog lures?
deps buster/slither k, megabass pony gabot, teckel honker, optimum baits furbit, Evergreen ss soft shell, are my top 5
how do you get so many lures
U get a job
I have one
I mean like do you buy them in bulk or do you buy some every once in a while
+Trevor Mott I've seen a few videos of him when he gets a couple 3 packs of the Koppers
so I have to ask, I am certainly not a very good bass fishermen, but I have caught my fair share, from the fishes point of view it's only sees the bottom of the frog ,am I correct in this statement? if so why all the colors on top, I would understand "leg" colors. does it really matter that the top of the frogs have all the glitter and eyes and all that, please help me understand this, anyone??

A lot of the colors on the top are to sell the fisherman though, not to make the fish bite
+Danny Squirrel Yes this can be true, however depending on the retrieve the fish sees the sides and we have all had a fish blow up on the frog as soon as it hits the water I think that's when they might catch a glimpse of the top but I always jus go with white, black, and a natural.
Where's the lunkerhunt
They suck
Pow Der no they don't. they're actually pretty cool

is each set an example of a day and a night color? Or are these just a couple of your best colors of each regardless of time of day?
Livetarget all the way only problem with them is that the paint comes off so easy
i have found that all kloppers hollow bodies take on water.... do you have a solution?
It`s hard for some reason to find the black and tan one now sadly, I dont know why its a great color!
Awesome review..
This helped me out allot.keep um comin
No Slither K??

Does the Koppers Livetarget take on water? That's the reason I refuse to buy another lunker frog. Takes on water and is always upside down.
Love the pad poppin pad crasher and the spro poppin frog. Never tried a koppers gonna have to get that brown and black one. Great video KB

For the black booyah popping pad crasher , use a sharpie and color in the eyes
Missed you Kevin great video!
Hi i am curious about the white frog in your tackle box on the right in the background I just wanted to know who made it?
They have a really nice (cheap) white popping top water frog.. It's made by Matzuo, it's 2.99$ I've had a lot of success with it
Chase 32 thats a river2sea

My Bronzeye broke. I don't even use it much 😑
Hey, what knot do you mainly use on all different types of lures? I mainly do the double palomar knot.
I like to use the double uni-knot. It holds up pretty well, and with the $10 Kopper's Frog that i have on that line, i don't want to have any chance of losing it.
I totally agree on you're first choice .
.My second thou is the regular pad crasher

Hey Kevin, I picked up one of the Spro Poppin Frogs just like that dark brown color you showed here -- does it appear to you that Koppers has stopped producing the 510 brown/tan colored frog? I can't seem to find that exact color any longer...
+bamagtrdude I believe they stopped producing the Black and Tan color... "why"... I have no idea!!! My favorite color by FAR!
Have you had any luck on the green kippers in this video. Just wondering because I can’t seem to find the Black and Tan anywhere. Thanks
Liked the video
Airbrush the bottom of my livetargets a dark brown now that they don't sell black/tan. Bring that color back!
@Kevin Bullington i just asked on another video if you had some suggestions for frog and you had already posted. Thanks for the info you got a new subscriber!

Hey bud what color is that Live Target on your Right hand? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Black/tan it's not easy to find anywhere. They sell it on amazon for like $20
+Bucks Bass Fishing thank bud. You are not kidding I tried looking and Ebay is the only one that sells it but in a smaller version. Any sugestions?
+SmokIn Swimbait did you check Amazon?

+SmokIn Swimbait oh gosh.... Then I'm not sure. Booyah works pretty good too, and they have colors in black. I've recently tried the Ima dabeat frog and caught a 4 and 5 pounder on the same day.

#Frog squad for bass

I find the popping part of the frog snags a bit too much thus I use the spro with pointed nose.
Lunkerhunts are the best frog in the market otherwise I like the strike king sexy frog
Lunkerhunt is a good frog. No doubt about that. I don't know about the best though. You're certainly entitled to your opinion.
