Great video! After missing so many strikes on hollow-bodied frogs (I use spinning gear), I’ve switched to toads (Horny toad mostly) and have had a LOT more luck with sticking fish. Looking forward to trying the Culprit toad this weekend in the Northeast, where the clock I think is ticking on the fall season. Can’t wait!
It's a head spinning time of year for those who like to be outdoors! So many good bites happening in such a short window. I look forward to it every year. I hope you are slamming them too!
@@Wired2Fish That's what I figured. I've had a couple of them sitting around but until recently I didn't know that you rig them like a swimbait. But great video man! Thanks for the response!
As far as the frog migration I’m not really sure. I’m more or less watching the lily pads and once they look like they’re on the way out, it’s a good time to fish shallow. Especially when you get a warm day like I had here.
@@Wired2Fish similar question here: at water temperature (or other factors you might consider) do you find it gets too cold for the fish to be shallow?
Love the buzz toad my go to for early morning when it's too weedy for a plopper or a spook
Very informative! Thank you for the details, not everyone knows all about each style of fishing, and I learned a lot here.
Thanks for watching T F. Best of luck out there! Give a toad a try-
Nicely delivered package of helpful info.
ThankU🍻
Great vid. I have a few brands of frogs, but really like culprits!
Thanks Mike! Incredi-Frog has a goood gurggle.

Get after it while you can! Prime time-
Fall fishing is extremely underrated here in MN. Keep slamming them Bass!
Yes it is. Most people either think it’s too cold or switch over to hunting. Which is great for me.

Wired2Fish I definitely am!!
Way better hook up ratio too I use eagle claw weight hooks then when the frog lands its usually right side up 👊
Nice video. You should show the strikes from that rear camera.
I few of them were a little too far away to see clearly. I would have liked to have included them myself! Thanks for watching-
Nice vid. Agree that Culprit Incredi-Frogs are a lot of fun. What size EWG hooks are you using? Thanks.
Thanks David, was using a 5/0 grip pin!
Good stuff Keys! 💯
That's crazy😱 great content🎣🎣
Thanks, I Rod!
Hell yeah! Nice HWM tattoo!
Good eye 😉
Do these float? Or do you have to keep reeling to keep them up?
Part of the beauty is they can be sunk but it takes little effort to keep them up.

Whats the best knot to tie with braid ? Great frog video !
With braid, I tie a palomar knot personally!
Double Palomar, simple answer.
Only time I tie a double is when I’m fishing with 65lb and up for bigger species like musky and sturgeon.
I got it!
Great video! Aournd what water temp does this happen?!

How do you stop them from turning upside down?
It helps to rig them as straight as possible and to not reel them too fast. They plane out and get a nice gargle at the right speed.
What size hook are you using? I’m guessing 5/0?
Yes sir, 5/0.
That's what she said at 2:00.
Are u just using straight braid
Straight. Braid.
What size hook?
5/0
What size hook?
That’d be a 5’r. (5/0)
