Eh I havent gotten into it yet, but I feel like learning AWD will give bad habits, I simdrift and just having the physics slightly off made me re learn how to drift with the 1:1 realistic cars

In my opinion the MST RMX 2.0 RTR is the best beginner car and comes built and fully tuned nothing special but is very good for a beginner

Thank you for this Nick. I am looking for chassis and looked at this one: "MST RMX-D VIP". Do you know by any chance what comes with "MST RMX-D VIP 2WD" in the box? Don't see anywhere if gyro comes in the box, or wheels, or anything else?
Drift chassis kits come with just the chassis. Nothing else unless it says “RTR” on the box. You will need Wheels, Tires, motor, esc, gyro, servo, receiver and remote, body, LiPo battery (2s).

I know I'm late to this, but the completed build of $1800 MYR is only ~$435 USD. While yes you CAN buy a `car` for this price, it will likely cost closer to ~$8300 MYR or $2000 USD to get one that you wont have to sink another grand into.

Mst rmx 2.0 rtr ok or not boss?
Does it matter what type of concrete u use it one cause I don’t have access to really smooth concrete
lets just say if you are on the street and its bumpy you will go through tires more, if it is a parking lot type of concrete( sort of smooth but not as rough as the street) it would be better and you will have a smoother experience. if you have more questions message me on insta @traxxas_slashpede

And holee shit. At Penang nowadays yd2's are rm1800. Rm799 doesn't exist anymore.

I have built my custom crack car for 480 dollars and have fully completed it but I have no gyro
if your looking for a good affordable gyro try yeah racing’s gyro however beware as i think its not compatible with some servos

Usually RC drifts are 1/10th scale

You’re best bet is second hand. It’s impossible to find a complete good car for $100
