- I fly to Denver CO for @ScaleScience's yearly Matsuri Potluck. A massive turn out of over 80 drifters, and 150 cars. What a blast hanging with all you guys! Packs on packs, laps on laps, doors on doors, snacks on snacks, parts on parts, ScaleScience has it all! Rc drifting at it's finest. 3 lap days of games, raffles and prizes. You'd be a fool not to come next year.

Its been said already but not only was this an amazing drift video but your editing chops made it totally enjoyable to watch. Looked like an amazing time! I just picked up my first drift car and I'm chomping at the bit to get lots of practice in. This video feels like something thresher magazine would make, I don’t know how to explain it, but if you’ve ever seen any event coverage from Thrasher, you know what I mean. I just got into RC drifting like a month ago because of real drifting and sim drifting. I don’t have a track or a shop local so I’m thinking about maybe trying to open one for stuff like this 🔥🔥

funny how? caster camber ackerman toe, all the same adjustments as the real deal. You realize how deep rc racing goes right? Some people don't have a 10's of thousands dollars a year to compete in open class drifting events. those majority of massive drift fans can at least partake in a more affordable form of drifting, one that is quite robust and technical. The new LSD differential tech coming through the hobby is crazy adjustable. For a very competative rc drifting setup you're looking at less money than your tire expense for 2 weekends of real drifting.

be cool if the cars had drift detection with tyre smoke. Also speakers to emit turbo sounds with letting of the trigger
it's so echoy in there adding speakers to each car would a nightmare. watch closely to see how many people are wearing ear protection already. Tyre smoke means adding weight to the cars, there is a fine balance between scale and functional. once we start adding lbs to the chassis things become hard to predict and control. even a gopro throws the car out of wack.

rc drift is has gone away from the 4wd platforms. and now all rwd. it's hard to find anyone running 4wd.

there are like 100 cars here with styrene cages. if your talking about my build. it's too fat and the only styrene i had at the time. use what you got.

I still don’t get the whole slow drift thing. I’m not hating or criticizing, I just don’t get it. I’ve tried to understand. I literally will try every different type of RC even though I’m a dedicated basher. I just can’t wrap my head around it.
untill you try it you will never know. but..... The skills developed in rc drifting make you a better rc driver as you start to understand full control with zero traction. Also. im in the rwd is better boat, which im sure you don't fit in as a basher. Point and shoot to me is what's boring. to each their own.

i asked the club to make a click bait title. The stock of the store can help out, the fact that most of these guys have 3+ chassis. and 1000 dollar + radios. i'd say yeah. 10k for a bunch of these players in investment is very possible.
