no one orders the base of all bases. 95% of these come in specs that should be 75k+. Add in the dealermarkups and other fees and thats why they cost 90k+ brand new

Cylinder deactivation is horible on thought. Instead of the explosion driving it back down it is being pulled which is horrible. This can meat to falled plugged, misfires and way worse damage. You can fix this though and have a mechanic go in with a computer and shut it off.
Nah. Its actually a good thing. Saves on fuel on cruise then when you want abit of fun ypu get the full power. My w12 has it and its a god send even though I still get 25mpg
Yea but when they deactivate. That means 4 Colin fees are being pushed up and pulled down instead of being fired down. This means oil can get on the Cylinder see because of no heat. This will fall plugs. Also can lead to imature ware.
GM has been doing this for years. It’s the first thing I deactivate when I buy a vehicle of theirs. It literally does destroy engines over time. 🥶

Not most of the time. Not even if you drive slow. Trust me I know from experience driving a 2017 C7 Corvette Grand Sport. The cylinder deactivation only drops to 4cyl mode when you're coasting under very light engine load. If you even so much as lightly touch the go pedal you're back in V8 mode. Also it's deactivated in manual (paddle shifters) mode.
Good, as it should be lol. I wouldn't want to fight with the damn thing to give me all 8 cylinders when I wanna do corvette stuff.
By the way that four-cylinder mode kills the lifters in one side of the motor and will have to rebuild the motor

Wrong! It goes to 4 cylinders anytime you're at a constant speed for about 6 seconds in Touring and Weather mode, and after about 10 seconds in Sport mode. You can stay in it all day on the highway - 30 mpg. You can have your foot on the gas. That's how the C8 drives. I know. I have one. Yours is older Tech. But he does overstate it. It stays in eight cylinders most of the time

I love how the C8 center console and controls make it impossible to get road head. They know their market. Meanwhile the R8 has plenty of access for my girl to get over and do her job.

Also you can’t compare a “mustang’s” price to a c8. The cheapest mustang in my country is around 30,000 and the most expensive is around 90-100k. Not even close.

@@Shambhu100 haha yeah 😭😭 restoring one would be one of the biggest pains ever, Toyota doesn’t have spare parts laying around for a car that old and made in a very sparse production, and most of them have been used and abused by now, even if you bought one for say 1000-2000 it would take another 10 grand or so to get it into decent shape. Not to mention they are not fast cars at all, for that price you can get a nicer faster car. So the only reason you would ever even consider that car is if you had a weird fascination with that car, if so then all power to you, but realistically a celica Supra over a brand new corvette is still diabolical

Best first car was a £50 Peugeot I got at auction. Had bits of string instead of door handles, but the engine was just fine.

Nope. I'm gonna stick to the Audi A8 D2 Quatro with the 310hp 4.2 V8. It's big, it's pretty fast (for it's age and size) and also it has 4 seats (5 if there are kids in the back) so it will be a good car when i will start my own family or just to go out with friends for a ride.
Edit: also you can buy it for 11000 - 15000 pln in poland (2750 - 3500 dollars) so for what it can offer it's really cheap.
