Finally, a new bottle of wood glue!! 😉👍
I was just thinking how comfortable those “barn cats” look in the house! Gina read all our minds! They are a lot of fun to watch and so amazing how all the animals are getting along! Peace reigns at the OGP! 💖
She said that with great timing after one had jumped through the frame Al had made that was leaning on the couch. They make great foremen.
All the trim up looks so good and makes everything look so finished. The kittens are adorable
@@scottdahl1938 X2
I knew as soon as those cats came in, they weren't going to be barn cats, lol.
Windows are looking great! Can't wait to see everything finished on this house!
"everything" will take some time... :-) :-)
It was fun seeing the new cats playing around and snoozing. And the Siamese playing outside as well. They will enjoy a warm house and warm laps to nap in.
Indoor / Outdoor is the best option.
I just notice that Al have a new work buddy. The little grey kitten🥰
The farm covered in snow is a beautiful sight to wake up to. ♥️ It is smart that you are doing the finishing touches to the house after moving in. So nice to see the meal preps and baking again. Take care 🍪🥮🥰
YES! Gina is looking great with a screwdriver in her hand but I am happy to see her in a kitchen COOKING again :-)
😄😄Yes, I've been seeing that this is the "barn" cats new home for some time now :) They"re so adorable I can see why they moved in...
they "moved in" to the house, because the house is a "barndominium". No? Hence BARNdominium cats. Yeah! that's it! LOVE love those kitties.
@@sandrasherritt9708 hahaha- I LOVE IT :-) thank you :-)
I had breakfast, now Gina has me thanking about her baking. She is getting off to a great start with the new kitchen.
Hey there, Clarence! It appears that the new kitchen is a hit! I hope Gina can get her pantry the way she likes it...
@@samvalentine3206 Good morning Sam. Gina’s kitchen up and running!
@@samvalentine3206 Gina WILL organize it the way she likes it- that is for sure :-) :-)
Once all the snow has melted from your blower, try spraying the whole inside with PAM or a similar product to give the metal a real slick surface. Use that on your snowplow blade too.
Thanks can’t wait to try that
Rust protection and slick fluid film might help
Would WD40 work? I have a small snow shovel I was thinking of trying it on
@@shirleyfrey8295 furniture polish spray might help or wax
My father used spray silicone on our snow plow blade and it seemed to work well though it needed to be sprayed each time you used the plow.
That bench near entrance was made so strong but I’m sure if Al breaks it he will just have to make another one. 😊. Seeing the fur babies comfy and cozy made me smile. Gina and Al I know you’re used to that weather but please stay safe.
The thing I don’t think anyone has commented on is that you Al have unlimited skills in everything you do. It takes a highly specialized person to be able to do that. The want to learn the patience to do it and the love of doing it for yourself and family. Congratulations. My father was the same kind of person. He built his own snow plough and could do all his own veterinary work on the animals with no degree. So I totally appreciate watching a man of all trades. And Gina we grow with all the canning foods and gardens to make the homestead complete.
This is so true !!!
The "barn" cats fit right in. Love the cat in the basket. The scenery is beautiful. The trim is looking awesome. Great job AL and Gina.
The two little kitties really love their new home, inside. Even Figaro and the dogs seem happy around them. Good addition to the farm. Between the chickens and three cats, those field mice don't have a chance.
Back 40 years ago we lived in the snow belt we would use cooking spray on are snow blower so it won't pack as bad.
It helped
I’ll have to try that.
Goooood Morrrning Lumnahs 👋🏻 and subscriber friends as well 👋🏻. Hope everyone has a safe and blessed week.
Thanks, CC! Wishing you the same!
@@samvalentine3206 thank you Sam I missed ya Saturday I got on here late. Hey what’s happened to Teresa and Elizabeth? They used to comment on my posts and I haven’t seen them on here or their comments lately. Hope they’re ok. Maybe they’re just getting on here later in the mornings and that’s why I’m not seeing them.
@@CCRider5312 - I think they may be coming late to the party... I'm not sure. I think I saw Teresa's post, not sure about Elizabeth. I do hope they are OK. Sometimes regular commitments keep us from our UA-cam friends!

Good morning to ya CC! I have been late most of the time this month! Hope you had a wonderful Christmas!
That’s just great, now Figaro knows. Your home has come together very nice. You and Gina do great work.
I didn't see Figaro in this segment- have you???
Already figured that they were now house cats . Lol I have laughed everyday ! They are so cute!
I want to thank you for sharing your experiences through life with us, I always look forward to your new videos, love and prayers to your family. :)
The window casings and trim turned out nicely, cleans everything up for sure! I hope everyone is staying warm!!
Howdy Mr. G! Hope you had a nice Christmas! Take care...
@@samvalentine3206 Howdy Sam!
Hi Mr G and Sam, from western Massachusetts USA. I hope you both had a very nice Christmas. That trim sure makes the windows look nice!
@@patchurch1677 Good morning Pat!
@@patchurch1677 - It was very nice, thank you, Pat! Hope yours was equally good!
Keeping the snowblower attachment outside will help with the snow sticking to it. The colder that metal is the less the snow will stick.
That makes sense. Lots to learn.
Gina, I’m glad you mentioned about the cats. I said to my husband last week they look like house cats now, not barn cats. They are very cute and I love the way the grey one was looking so quizzically when Al was making the window frame. By the way, while you have snow, we’ve had 40C here in Adelaide, Australia today. Your house is really looking very nice!
Just a FYI for those who are curious... 40°C is 104°F

Cathy, I don't like bitter cold weather but on the other hand, I really can't bear the heat when it is over 100 F....and you are. Is it humid as well? That would really be unbearable. Stay cool and have a Blessed day.
@@samvalentine3206 UFFF!!!!!!!
Love watching the two barn cats, Al's dimples showed as he was talking to one of them. All of the finer details seem to take the longest to complete. All of the sweets look so yummy, Gina and Olivia did an amazing job. Al, you must enjoy being the taste tester. Spraying the blades with a cheap kitchen oil (Dollar General, less expensive) should make the snow slide off much easier. Both of the farms look so beautiful in the newly fallen snow.
you are living in a winter wonderland. awesome.
The windows and door trim look great. The house is really turning into a home. Those cookies at the end sure looked good enough to eat! 😊
Morning! Hope your staying warm. Arlo likes Al, he was watching him making the window trim. He does have a great personality. So nice to see Gina and Olivia baking in the kitchen. Bet that made the whole house smell wonderful.
Thanks for saying that about the outlet covers. Lol that kind of thing bugs me! Also, so happy to see you bringing the two new little kitties in and not making them stay in the barn all the time. They will still be good little hunters.😸💖
Knowing how much Gina hates meeces and the like, they'll still do the job of keeping them out of the house, that's for sure!
It’s time to replace that unsightly, drafty overhead garage door with another set of double doors like the ones in the work area, before you finish the inside and the siding.
@@freddymax5256 Can't the garage door be insulated on the inside?
FYI, they will not be good mouse/vermin cats. Barn cats have to live outside, find food on their own and not be played with. I know because we had them. You rarely saw them, they were not friendly and they kept the barnyard free of unwanted animals. These are now house cats.
@@jeffparker3334 you can still feed a mouser and be friendly and play with them, to know this is true with evidence go check out gold shaw farm
Al, next time using the pocket hole jig, Kreg has a clamp the looks like large vise grips that holds the two boards perfectly flush.
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe Al just has freakishly strong fingers and doesn’t need clamps :).
Was there ever any doubt those kitties were moving inside? 😂😂
there was to much cutest today with all them fur babies.... Love me some kitties!!!
The house is coming together so well. You two are a great team.
Good morning y'all! I see Figaro is inspecting Al's work🤣🤣🤣
Figaro 🐈 checking the window Just making sure you wasn’t doing away with the window seal he sits in 😂
I missed that!!! :-(
Good Morning Al! Can’t wait to see your CAT blowing snow!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻Blessings
Gooooood Morning
right! Al' CAT needs to e mentioned here also.. not just "barn cats". Al's CAT will get it's barn in time.. :-)
I’ve watched you guys for several years now. I find myself very proud of all you have accomplished just like my own children! Happy New Year!❤

I bet there are many contractors that wish they had you working for them Everything you build, fix and maintain is spot on as you figure it out and achieve your goal. The kitties are really sweet and growing. I have a Siamese 14 years young and he's my buddy - spoiled and loved. Gina's muffins or cupcakes look delicious.
Gina, perfect timing. i just sat down for breakfast and you took the beautiful muffins out of the oven. thank you
For your tool cat snow blower, let the unit warm up and dry off inside then get a silicone spray such as the “DuPont Silicone Lubricant with Teflon” in the orange and white can and spray the whole unit down inside and out including inside the snow chute. This will greatly help the heavy wet snow not to stick as much to the unit, and will also lubricate and protect the surfaces of the unit from corrosion. This works very well on my hardworking snow blower here in Wyoming. Thanks for your wonderful videos, I love watching them all!
Make sure everything is clean & dry before applying it too. The Silicone must dry too. Been using it since 1976
Use Spray wax entire blower ,DuPont toxic to use on farm ,house , etc. look it up scary stuff
X2
lets not suggest toxic products lol
Good morning Al and Gina! I felt the video this morning was very multilayered. I got to see a mini outdoor tour of the old homestead while you were snow blowing, great trim work around windows, animals and baking. Very satisfying this morning. I see many good suggestions for keeping your snowblower going so thanks to everyone with experience in that area for speaking up. May you all stay safe and warm. Hugs from N.C..❤️
Gina's excellent looking sandwich cookies at the end. The property in snow looks outstanding. What views and peacefulness. All the window trims are looking excellent. Great for-thought in having radiant heating from the floors.
Notice that the barn cats are mostly the house cats… haha! Merry Christmas and the best for 2023! 🇨🇦🎄🎉
My wife surprised me with a Lumnah Acres T-shirt for Christmas and I love it! Love the pocket-hole technique for the trim!
Glad you’ve decided the cats belong with you not the barn. The windows look great. I even enjoyed watching you snowblower! This winter seems to be shaping up to be stormy so I’m glad you got the new machine. It never ends does it? Nice that your ladies are keeping the house full of baked goods!! Fun mush mash today, thanks!
Thank you- every thing just right!🤗🤗🤗
There was no wondering, Gina. I knew they'd be indoor/outdoor! I hope you had a blessed Christmas and that the Lord shines His glory, light and love on all y'all in the new year!
Al. I was glad to see you sticking to protocol and having the "INSPECTION" prior to the foam insulation around the window trim. Figaro says, "yup ... I LIKE it."
I've been seeing that this is the "barn" cat's new home for some time now and figured the animal-loving Al gave in lol
A little bit of everything nice 👍 Gina and Al also Olivia ,and the animals
I like Olivia's artwork. She has talent
You are doing a beautiful job on your new house.
I love seeing the barn cats have made their home in the house. We'll catch a mouse or two when outside, but it is so cozy in here....thanks!!!!! Al, your window frames look great. It is amazing the difference it makes when the job is finished. Gina & Olivia, the goodies look delicious. Peanut butter cookies are my favorite. Thanks for sharing some home time with us today....it has been fun watching Al doing his construction of frames, you and Olivia baking and of course all the fur babies having a play and a nap around the house. Y'all have a Blessed day.
Doing all the trim work on windows and doors so improves the look of the room! Now it looks finished! And it is, except for some touch ups. The problem is that visitors when they drop in a few days later hardly notice the finished trim work, the effort that went into getting it done. No on will say “O do I ever like the way you trimmed up your windows. And your trim on the doors looks so professional!” Well, we have said it now, Al and Gina, and the rooms look so cozy and warm with the trim. Congratulations on the wonderful job. Your finished work looks like a work of art!!
I was wondering Gina, and its easy to see how they could steal your heart, they are very adorable. And you do a great job catching all their mischief on camera.
Al, I hope the chiropractor can help you with the rib issue! I’m really happy that you and Gina decided to let the kittens be indoor/outdoor cats like Figaro❤ This is not a surprise at all - I would have done the same thing❣️ The window and door trim looks amazing👍
The kittens will be like Figaro.. An ESTATE Management Cat. 🐈⬛🐈🐈
Al, the next time you go to the chiropractor, see if he can check for "Slipping Rib Syndrome." There are physical therapy exercises you can do to bring everything back to normal if that's the case.
Wow! Everything is coming together! A house becomes a home ❤️
Al and Gina I'm letting you guys know things went pretty good today in the operating room they put a new thing in my heart or stent I got one more that I got to put in in about another month so but we are doing pretty good thank you for your prayers you all guys are awesome love you guys
Those cookies looked amazing. I bet there's a lot of bittersweet going on when clearing the old homestead, knowing it's likely the last year you'll be doing that.
A late Happy Holidays to the Lumnah family. Disappointed we didn't get to see Gina open the present from up on the shelf. Maybe next video. 😀
Al, try spraying the snow blower auger with WD-40 before you go out with it. I use it on ours and it helps keeping the snow from sticking and it doesn't hurt the paint. Also works as a rust preventer when you get wear spots.
Peanut butter cookie sandwich with chocolate…not fair! Great drone shot of the deer!
Yum those peanut butter/chocolate cookies look divine. The kittens do have huge personalities.

Love seeing what u guys are up to , the baking looks out of this world. The molding looks great , slowly it’s all getting done cant wait to see the next project. The snowblower looks like it’s a huge win cuts plow time down a lot
Hi! I also have a snowblower, which I use a lot in the winter, as I live in Finland. In my experience, the snowblower needs to be moved outside in time so that it is as cold as the outside air before you start. It usually saves you from that blockage.
Also, it is wet snow, and he was traveling too fast for it to feed, all he was doing was packing it and it clogged.
Good morning Lumnah world
Have a great day
Seams needs a little bit of practice with the snowblower 😂
Good morning. 30 inches of snow on the ground here in Michigan. Gonna be in the 50's later this week. That window trim looks great. Have a great day.
The snow looks beautiful, I’m down near Boston. You can have the snow. Nice move sneaking the cats in 😂

Sheesh, I’m gaining weight just watching Gina making those cookies. You can almost smell the peanut butter. Thanks for another great video.

You might try either teflon or silicone lubricating spray to see if that'll help keep the snow from packing in and it just slide off and not accumulate. Not sure it'll help, but just throwing it out there! I love watching you build.

Good evening Al and Gina and Olivia! In regards to snow blowing in heavy wet snow, what I do here in Minnesota with heavy snow is to stop once in awhile to let the chute clear out. And to not drive too fast into the snow. I did not have any plug ups in the chute when I do that. Even though I use a blower that is quite a bit smaller I would think the principal is the same. 😊❄❄❄
