You could build a small rise ramp in the ground come next spring so that you can load and unload wheeled vehicles easier from the trailer
Gina's job is to worry Al's job is to give her things to worry about lol. Great year of videos guys. God bless your family.
A symbiotic relationship that works!
So true! Lol
So true
LOL!
Love it. Nailed the point
Thank you for taking us with you. Love having the hen house there. God bless you all.
Al when you are winching things up on the trailer like the chicken coop once the front skids are on the trailer, lower the front of the trailer to line up with the angle of the skids and the winch does not work as hare to pull it up, it will just slide on the skids.
I just can't get enough your journey. I feel like I'm there with yall.
I DON'T CALL YOU LUCKY... I CALL YOU BLESSED !!!! Gina !! love your farm fresh sign !! I have one too ! oh yeah Gina.... my hubby was like that for the first 50 years of our marriage.. we are now working on year 53... He is terminal now ... but he still manages to make my heart flip !!!
Good day from L.A. to all . Transporting that coop was INCREDIBLE!!! I had "a vision" of helicopters FLYING the whole barn to your new location - wouldn't that be awesome??? :-) :-) New year is almost knocking to our door.. I say : I hope it will not be worst that 2022, which delivered many challenges to so many of us, but..we made it! :-) Gina- I wish you that you will be staying in hotels from now on, when you will be away from home- NO MORE HOSPITAL BEDS!!! Al- you will need a BIG parking structure for all your toys!! Olivia- I hope to see you driving one of those cool CATs :-) To all your animals/pets: you are in good hands! To all here who were following this amazing family with me- may you have a reason to BE HAPPY with what 2023 will bring you and other people around you. :-) Ciao all.
The list grows longer. "I like it," "Just call me Will," and Gina's, "Ya gotta love 'em." You guys keep it real, and that is one of the outstanding features of your channel.
Boys and their toys!!!! LOL. I can see how much easier this trailer has made your life and how delighted with it you are.
The French toast looked delish BBB as do the cookies!
Love Al's "can do" attitude for moving the hen house ... What could possibly go wrong??? Have fun, guys!!!
So happy you were able to get the chicken coop loaded, the chickens will be glad to have their house back
and they will pay you in eggs..???!!!! :-)

to save extra work for the winch lower the trailer bed once you got the coop off the ground.
Must say you are handling the problems and keeping your harmony more than others I have seen. Compliments to your mastery. I know everything has been a challenge. Bless you.
They say problems come in 3s!! So you should be good for awhile!! 😂
Is your new homestead near your older homestead? I'm glad you c a n transport the buildings. The trailer is a great investment.
I so so love the new trailer. Love seeing Gina cooking think she could make a separate channel for cooking and new gadgets . Can hardly wait to see new barns being built.
Don't worry about the gremlins... You are on the shakedown cruise on your new homestead under realtime extreme condition changes. You are coping perfectly with each emergency or failure of equipment glitches. You have obviously carefully chosen your suppliers and have a good team at your back. These things that you have worked through with us, have given us a better idea of the product and taught us what to do. In the end they are not failures, but successful teaching moments! God bless you all in 2023 and beyond.
Amen
Beautifully said. 😍
Happy New Years Eve to everybody!
Howdy Richard... thanks and the same to you!
happy new year to you! 💥🐔
Happy New Year
🎉🎆Happy New Year Richard!🎇🎉
Clever connection between the coup and the hen house (or the chicken porch). Al has a lot more mechanical talents than the ordinary person. It makes DIY less expensive and more possible. The sour dough looks really delicious.
I see Al really loving the new trailer, it's a gem if I may say 🇯🇲
My absolute favorite is to slice the sourdough lengthwise, butter it and put under the broiler until crispy on top, and then spread it with wild plum jam. OMGoodness it is so yummy.
Nothing better than looking through FB marketplace late at night 😂 good job guys
What a team, moving, baking, designing & I almost forgot it started with the well! Gina's camera work has gotten SO good! I laughed so hard when that Sawzall came through the end of the coop, pure entertainment!
Did you ever watch The Hollar Homestead with Meg and Ben? Omg you have to see them too!!!
Howdy Gina, Olivia and Al... Happy New Year to all The Lumnahs and the Lumnah Fan Club! Wishing you all the best in the upcoming year! Let's hope 2023 is the best year yet!

Gina. I totally get your anxiety over Al's adventures. But he is good at what he does. Love watching you guys.
Good morning. Al I'm curious if you are planning on moving new yolk city to the OGP ? Hope everyone has a blessed day.
Yay! So happy the chickens coop arrived safely! Al, or should I say "Will"?, I'm a Ford girl. I'd go with either a turbo diesel F250 or a F350, depending on what you want for a towing capacity. Gina, those baked goods look awesome! God bless all y'all.
When your pulling the items on to the trailer with the winch, once it’s on about 2-3ft and the angle changes from pressure on the trailer to putting pressure on the building,
Make sure the bottom is parallel to the trailer bed.
the item would pull a lot smoother and not be putting unnecessary stress on the winch and trailer
Cheers
Happy moving from Australia
Good advice. Hopefully with time, proper trailer protocol will be mastered if it isn't already!
I was thinking the same thing and once the item is on the trailer past the balance point it is a good idea to lower the trailer tilt so the bed is level, that way you are not pulling uphill. None the less, the item was moved and everything arrived safe and sound so overall good job Al and Gina!
my toes are cold just sitting here watching you walk around in that snow!
Good morning LA! We finally got a 6 day warm up. Maybe 70° on New Years, ikr 🤪. Gremlins is everywhere. My gas generator pull cord broke because of cold, my wood stove fan is on its last leg, I dropped it to many times 🤣 got home yesterday with a nail in my tire😬. Trouble builds character 🤗👍 Glad to hear you're still getting things done, and getting your out buildings to the OGP! Happy New Year guys.🙏💙💦 Stay blessed.
You're right - adversity builds character... or calluses! Happy New Year!
Gina, remember when your baking, your new countertop is much colder than other surfaces you may have had before, and that will change some chemical reactions while baking-or prep work.
Amazing how well the coop fit on the trailer. It's almost like you planned it!
That was pretty awesome!
X2
totally incredible!!!!! :-) :-)

Al - this is the first UA-cam video I watched of yours that actually scared there hell out of me. Respectfully - please be mindful those cables break. When they do they can injure or kill. I recommend you position yourself in such a way that if it lets go… it hits something other than you. It happens quick. Too quick to duck in many cases. Stay safe and thanks for sharing. Best to you and yours.

You really do have fabulous toys AND so know how to use them! Those goodies Gina whips up are surely the yummiest. Thanks for sharing again and may God continue to Bless you all.
It almost sounds like you forgot to feed gårs nissen over Christmas.Since there is so much going rong .(gårs nissen is a mythological being which protects farm in Norwegian folklore )
It's always fun to learn some new folklore... I didn't know about gårs nissen - fascinating! According to Wikipedia "They are generally described as being short, having a long white beard, and wearing a conical or knit cap in gray, red or some other bright colour" 🙂
Buying all that equipment is very expensive, but boy what an investment. Just think of all the uses it will get in the future as you build your new homestead.
I couldn’t see for sure, but you need to put a blanket over the cable when you are winching. You could get seriously injured if that ever snaps when you’re next to it.
It’s not a cable. We got synthetic rope on the winch
Well done Will............. great job with the chicken hutch
Just gone new year's here in NZ. Wishing you all a great time wherever you are in the world.
Happy New Year! The time zones allow some fun examples, this is one of them!
I still remember Olivia opening a sweet shop in the window of that coop. Al & Gina would make orders & she made them up (pretend). It was freaking adorable 🥰
Happy New Year Al, Gina and Olivia. May God grant you your hearts desires in 2023.
Good morning Al, just a quick tip lift the front end of the coop and block it up with 2x4. This way, you can back the trailer end under the coop before winching.
Good Morning everyone Happy New Year!!!! Great job getting all your stuff up to the OGP that trailer is the nuts!!! Al you should get another Tundra the new ones are awesome and much better gas milage lol you can't beat the quality!! I love mine only truck I would ever buy!! Enjoy the day guys good work all around!!! Blesseings to all!!!
Good morning to ya Eric, Happy New Year to you and yours!!

God bless you always Gina and olivia

Good morning Ray! Happy New Year to you and Family!!
Howdy Ray... Happy New Year!
Time has really passed by since you built this chicken house. I remember the Skunk that wanted to stay awhile with the chickens. Miss both of your roosters. The white one and " Moose". Built real well. Glad you didn't hit low branches on the move. Happy new year and blessings to all
Gina my heart skipped a couple beats too!! 😅 Glad everything worked out well and the chicken 🐓 coop is home at the ogp!! Happy NewYear everyone!! 😊
Al is just a little kid at heart with a brand new toy.
i love how they balance each other out. Al is so calm, and Gina is STRESSED!
Keep the truck you have but get a dump truck for use around the property for when you need to move soil, wood chips ect to your garden areas.
Not a bad view of the sunset 💪 I'm pretty jealous of the tiny truck!
The Tundra you have is the one to stick with👍. It is the best truck out there.
You are making a whole lot of progress. I watch a lot of channels that show dashcam footage. One thing I see often is people who put the heaviest part of their trailer load at the back of the trailer which causes the trailer to fishtail and flip. Looks like you did the tractor load- heavy end to the back.
MAN~You~~ALL make Me Hungry
in OZ!! Carry On !!!
Good Morning Lumnah family. Those little gremlins can be a pain. I see your getting another shed moved. The animals will be excited for the new OGP. Pray they get that well fixed. Ginas cooking again. I think she likes the new place Al. Have a Happy New year and the best 2023 ever. We cooled off again after only 3 days of 40s. o well, I guess it's winter time. Right on, Gene! It's warmed up here on Long Island a bit - I'll take it! Hope you have a great New Year in 2023!
New nickname "Iron Will" fits you perfectly Al.
Good morning Lumnah family and Happy New Year. 🎉 Gina wouldn't know what to do if she didn't worry about something. A whole lot of stress on the gallbladder and immune system. Just have to loosen up and go with the flow. Everyone take care and have a blessed day. ❤️🍀

It always amazes me the quality of the new equipment that you’re able to purchase! You guys must have won the lottery! There must be several hundred thousand dollars worth of the top of the line equipment. To be able to work all day with every type of motorized equipment for your homestead must be a blast…and a lot of work.
Hi Al and Gina have a great day. Happy New Year. Al you are amazing, but you do things that make Gina a nervous wreck, can't say I blame her. Lol
Al...as a retired chiropractor I'm glad you're using our service.remember to avoid twisting for a couple of days.
Gina, I was holding my hands over my mouth when he was loading the coop & it started sliding! LOL! He is just amazing with all he is able to accomplish. So happy you all are able to purchase equipment that you need & Al can use them himself! You all are awesome! Happy New Year!
Thank you all at the OGP for a great 2002. I wish you all a fantastic and prosperous 2003😃
Good morning Al! Happy New Year!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻Blessings

As per usual, it was a lot of fun watching you work. Getting that coop on and off the trailer took lots of know-how. Luckily, Al has plenty!
Gina, experimenting with the sourdough starter looks like fun. I have a friend who has a starter that's been going for FORTY-FIVE years! I should ask her for a bit and help keep it going.
I had my fingers crossed when you were moving the chicken coop Al, it's was so great to see it on the new homestead! Gina ,your cow picture looks beautiful with the lamp and sign above it, just perfect! Also loved the baking and sharing your sour dough making! So glad your rib is feeling better Al. Praying the extra obstacles slows down,I know you have your hands full with just getting things moved.
Wishing you all a great New Year and looking forward to spending it with you Gina, Al and Olivia. Love, hugs and prayers always xo.

Good morning Lumnah family, I'm guessing you are on gluten free foods because of choice, I have celiac disease and cross contamination would be no different than actually eating the gluten because even at the smallest amount would start the autoimmune response. I have to cook all my foods separately or first. They go to the point they want me to have separate pans to cook in. Happy New Year's Al, Gina and Olivia I pray that your 2023 is blessed with good health, happiness, love, peace and abundance. Sending love from NJ xoxoxo
A good friend of mine is in the same boat with the celiac stuff... you have your work cut out for you to keep your diet pure. A tip of the hat and may you continue to find the right path to health!
Now u know!!! VIEWERS & SUBSCRIBERS are great! Look what we bought you Al!
Gina, being gluten intolerant myself, I found out that the process of fermentation- Sourdough, eats up the gluten and makes the bread okay for us to eat! Only try this with your own, as store bought “sourdough” may not be (some just add a flavoring). As well as at restaurants (you know how I’ve learned that- the hard way🤢). I’ve been using the dry method from Elliott homestead over a year now using Einkorn flour and it has been awesome. Tried making SD starter with GF flour and was not successful. Not sure what your symptoms are when you’ve eaten gluten but mine are very severe. Did not have any symptoms with my own SD bread- you might give it a try! It’s sooo good!
I have the same experience, friend of ours makes it using ancient grain they grow (I believe Einkorn uses the old grain), grinds her own flour, it does taste good😃
King Arthur has gluten-free flour and gluten-free sourdough starter. Don’t know how well they work, but it is available.
@@pathologist1 yes, I’ve tried King Arthur and Bob’s Red Mill. They just don’t seem to hold the fermentation well. The breads don’t rise and they are very dense. Tastes fine but just doesn’t give you the real sourdough bread.
Love the video Al ,Gina ,Olivia . that the way to go AL .
AL with all the farming and heavy equipment you own U should buy you a Dodge 2500 Cummings Turbo Diesel the strongest Truck on the Highway! U need it with the excavator and tractor if you need to move them. That will be the truck that will do it with no problems!
Good tip, CC!

The most critical strapping is at the back, its braking or an accident that puts the most force on the load and is the most dangerous to the vehicle. Straight straps at the back, others you can cross strap as the loads are less.
Chains and turn buckles are a good idea for heavenly loads like your machines.
Good advice!
Good to know thanks
