The Mk 2 is out, I got one. It's arguably better than the recalled Mk1 on display here. I have both, and an EHX Pitchfork, and I love how the Mooer Tender Octaver Mk.2 sounds. It's about $90. I am on the fence as to whether the first version tracks better polyphonically. Mk.2 seems to have tiny troubles with major 3rds & sixths. But nobody will notice, eh, and the Mooers have a warmer overall tone than EHX which can sound a little "metallic".
good job. 3 quick questions, though: 1) any perceivable latency between the wet and dry sound? 2) how does it work before dirt pedals? 3) do you find any shrilling on the upper octave? Kudos
1) No lag that I can perceive 2) I don't have dirt pedals unfortunately :( But my guess is that it'll work fine :) The octaves would just go into the dirt like other pedals would. 3) Not until I get fairly high Hope this helped!!
You won't find one. They were recalled after EHX kicked up a fuss about Mooer stealing algorithms and designs. However - you can get the Tender Octaver Mk.2 which is the same as this with a few extras. $90 on ebay.
Sorry about that bro :( I got mine from amazon, but I found a little link here: www.tomtop.com/guitar-accessories-483/p-i1477.html?currency=USD&aid=gpla&gclid=CjwKEAiAuc_FBRD7_JCM3NSY92wSJABbVoxBGf23sMXuXhwcJ5A-PutVUkKeNlbtfJVmM8bSt3IrABoCpnjw_wcB Hope that helps bro!
It's nice to hear you experiment and you make the pedal sing like a queen

Great review man! Enjoy a lot your ambient sound... the kind of sound that pog do.. I'm trying to find one here in Europe.
Cheers from Portugal.
