  • As we find out, the Tender Octaver Pro is much more than just an octave pedal. It can create any interval up to one octave above and/or another interval up one octave below the dry signal. Expression pedal compatibility allows for 'Whammy'-style effects. Also featured are a 'Slow Gear' effect and the ability to product chorus sounds. All this in addition to the expected octaves, up or down.
Available from our website here: www.fxpedal.co.uk/effects-c10...
Also available for demo in our London store.

It seems a bit odd to put the dirt BEFORE the octaver. I would think that would make tracking harder. On a side note, I'm very curious to find out about the version 2 micro pedal Scotty talked about. I have the original and I love it.

Great review, congratulations. If I leave the pedal positioned on bank two, for example, turning off the effect on the switch, when I press the pedal does it come back to the same bank two?

that sounds out of tune as hell. very dissonant. the upper octave is shrill as hell.
I had high hopes for this pedal.

David I cant tell if its the pedal or the guy doing the demo. He seems to have a knack for going right to the worst possible sounds.

I've talked to some other people about the pedal and most seem to agree that there's something wrong with the pitch tracking. It's a pitty. Should have been as good or better than the Tender Octaver.

David I've been watching more demos and have decided to give the TC Electronic Sub N Up a try. No preset foot selector, but the sounds seem top notch, plus they have the tone print editor. Sounds as good or better than the EHX to my ears, but cheaper price and better build quality.

You can't go wrong with TC. I have the Sub N Up on my shopping cart as well. It sounds awesome to me.

I had a Sub n Up, I wasn't overly impressed. Tracked OK but was a little muddy compared to the EHX or the Mooer.
