The second time, you get a slightly larger rock slide. After you run back up the third time, an Indiana Jones-style boulder starts rolling after you. It's honestly one of the funnier sequences I've found. Love your videos, btw. I can't believe I only found your channel a few weeks ago.
She's insane, murderous and ambitious, a very dangerous combination yet, somehow, Tabitha is an NPC that moves me. She's lonely and lost in a very honest way,for me she never felt forced as is so often the case when someone tries to "humanize" a monster in a game. And a very good job was done in voicing her meeting revived Rhonda.

12:03 I always thought that "Battle Cattle" were Brahmin, due to the one quest in Novac to protect cattle from the "Chupacabra with an automatic weapon" and that maybe its not just an isolated case of crazy. Maybe the case is actually that tabitha confuses the Brahmin and the Legion into one thing and thus is why she talks about the NCR riding Battle Cattle.
I think battle cattle would be the pack bramin the caravans use while crossing through the mojave. I don't think the Legion has made it far enough west to have come across black mountain yet. While the bramin themselves would be no issue the humans traveling with the bramin and their caravan guards would be. And it can't be big horners since Easy Pete mentions that the bighorners will just lay down if you try to put a pack on them and refuse to move and they're only good for meat and hides.

I got the peaceful ending accidentally, I thought the key would be in the storage room and found a robot, it had an option to repair so I blindly clicked it, then the quest got completed and since I didn’t listen to any radio broadcasts I was hella confused. This video helped clear things up

Actually battle cattle is the nickname for Brahmin, which Nightkin hate due to schizophrenic rationale. You can see this in "The Screams of Brahmin". Although the term has been debated to mean Caesar's Legion.
The Bear and the Bull. The NCR and the Legion. I think it's fairly safe to assume that the "battle cattle" is a reference to the Bull, the Legion. Nothing to take literally. Like how the "two headed bear people" is obviously referencing the NCR and their flag.
I drew a connection between the battle cattle and the Nightkin that was complaining about the screams of Brahmin around Novac. The NCR astride brahmin, that drive Nightkin crazy.

I assumed battle cattle where traders braham. Their covered in cargo that makes them look armed to the hide. Also they have armed guards walking beside them. To some dumb-dumbs such a thing might not appear to be a trader and his cargo but a combat unit that with a trained cow that could go charging about and explode. Which always made me smile when thinking about braham that get spooked and start charging around during ambushing super mutants. Que panicking Mutants running away from a scare little cow.
Back when I did this quest myself I didn't pay too much attention because I had the station on in the background every time I would fight. Every time I heard Rouhl I didn't think anything of it. So when I actually met Rouhl I had no idea what he was doing there or who he was. He then became my favorite companion. I also snuck up black mountain at night without killing any of the mutants or nightkin because I thought it would make Neil upset. It wasn't until I freed Rouhl on accident did I kill Tabitha and all her guards.
Mr.Oxhorn, i have played through fallout nv several times and something i would like you to dig in deeper to is these 7 things: The lore of jacobstown The honest hearts dlc The lonesome road dlc The followers of the apocalypse The powder gangers The nv strip And the vault 19 any of these would be of great benefit for me as for many other players as you dig deeper into the lore than all of us do :))
Oxhorn lorewise it makes sense due to most of the mutant in F4 were kidnapped wastelanders. They have lived in radiation all their lives so that makes it more likely they'll be dumb in their mutant lifes

Obsidian did the Super Mutants right. At least tying New Vegas with the rest of the West Coast. As the West Coast Super Mutants were far smarter and stronger. Unlike those on the East Coast. Who had all the strength but had no brains. Which the East Coast was Bethesda's brain child. So really if you ask me. Obsidian should handle the West Coast. Bethesda can do the East Coast. Suddenly there is Midwest and Southwest American! Who will battle for it? Who will win?

Well I will be honest. I have been using the program, Grammarly, to help. It is not perfect (as I am using the Free version). Yet it has helped me and relearn a lot of proper grammar or darn near close. Though I do agree that Obsidian may not make another Bethesda game. As it seems to be a growing theme with Obsidian. Latest news the Tank Game, Armored Warfare. They were booted off the game by the Email service provider, My.Com. All because My.Com wanted a tank game that was just like World of Tanks. Basically a knock off with modern tanks. So yeah. Obsidian has their own game they are working on that is a RPG. Which by Obsidian's standards is pretty good and very lore deep. Which I never doubt from Obsidian having a very lore deep and pretty well thought out universe or world. Also characters to like or dislike. Even if they are rough cut gems or buried gems. Though I think it would be cool if Bethesda branched out and allowed the West Coast of the US come under the creative talents of Obsidian. As they in fact kept to Lore. And the whole East Coast under Bethesda. As they were the reason that area was created. As for Southwest and Midwest areas. Hard to say. As it is pretty civil in those areas. (Personally happy Kansas City, Missouri was put into a game. Even if it is a Ghoul City lol.)

I have completed this game so many times, but before I found your channel I never realised I have never actually PLAYED the fallout series, I’ve done the game such a huge injustice playing it to finish the story and find the best loot, let me say thanks for opening this series up so much for me.
In my playthrough, a deathclaw actually cleaned out the top of the mountain, meaning all I had to do was cheese the deathclaw, and kill a few more at the radio tower. Really glad, seeing how many rushed you in the shanty town
Battle-Cattle are brahmin. The nightkin have a weird obsession with them. Davidson's "Antler" is a brahmin skull, Tabitha warns of the "Battle-cattle" and Night kin sneak down from the black mountain at night ONLY to kill brahmin. For some reason, part of their collective psychoses causes them to fear brahmin and cow-like creatures. They mention the "Two-headed Bear people" riding them, because the NCR is the only faction that raises and cares for brahmin. So the Nightkin think they're related to each other, which is also why they're not TOO far near vegas and instead tend to reach jonestown by way of the west because the closer you get to the eastern side of Vegas, the more farms (and by extension brahmin) there are. Crossing by the way of the east would also see them being attacked by humans defending their Brahmin which could make the Nightkin begin to think they were in cahoots with each other.

I've always liked how rare super mutants are in new vegas, theres only a few locations where you'd run into them, its cool talking to them to see how they've gotten on without the master.

Battle-Cattle means brahmin, dude. Super mutants call brahmin "battle cattle". That's why they are scared of and kill brahmin. They think they're dangerous. You learn this from the side quest in Novac, from those settlers that keep losing Brahmin to a nightkin shooting at them at night.
That's one Nightkin who thinks the Brahmin are invading his dreams. I suspect that Tabitha uses the terms Battle Cattle for Legion and Two-Headed Bear People for NCR to keep things simple for the Dum-Dums.

they lack the superb writting of the original team (todays Obsidian). they made stupid brutes out of the super mutants, etc. its losely connected, but the heart is not in it. Bethesda has a real problem with story telling, skyrim is the worst offender, the main questline is so freaking boring and badly written...its a big empty sandbox, the next bethesda open world game will be slaughtered on meta critics and co if they dont improve. cant make games liek skyrim after nintendo showed how open world is done with zelda.

Actually battle cattle is the nickname for Brahmin, which Nightkin hate due to schizophrenic rationale. You can see this in "The Screams of Brahmin". Although the term has been debated to mean Caesar's Legion.

I assumed battle cattle where traders braham. Their covered in cargo that makes them look armed to the hide. Also they have armed guards walking beside them. To some dumb-dumbs such a thing might not appear to be a trader and his cargo but a combat unit that with a trained cow that could go charging about and explode. Which always made me smile when thinking about braham that get spooked and start charging around during ambushing super mutants. Que panicking Mutants running away from a scare little cow.
I did get attacked by a caravan brahmin once. Then there was a mini stampede of them rushing through The Strip. True story.

Back when I did this quest myself I didn't pay too much attention because I had the station on in the background every time I would fight. Every time I heard Rouhl I didn't think anything of it. So when I actually met Rouhl I had no idea what he was doing there or who he was. He then became my favorite companion. I also snuck up black mountain at night without killing any of the mutants or nightkin because I thought it would make Neil upset. It wasn't until I freed Rouhl on accident did I kill Tabitha and all her guards.
I found my first Nightkin in the Come Fly With Me quest.

You're a really good commenter and I like this idea, even if Bethesda doesn't exactly have plans with Obsiden (which is really sad to hear actually), the thought is a really nice one.
Well I will be honest. I have been using the program, Grammarly, to help. It is not perfect (as I am using the Free version). Yet it has helped me and relearn a lot of proper grammar or darn near close.
Though I do agree that Obsidian may not make another Bethesda game. As it seems to be a growing theme with Obsidian. Latest news the Tank Game, Armored Warfare. They were booted off the game by the Email service provider, My.Com. All because My.Com wanted a tank game that was just like World of Tanks. Basically a knock off with modern tanks.
So yeah. Obsidian has their own game they are working on that is a RPG. Which by Obsidian's standards is pretty good and very lore deep. Which I never doubt from Obsidian having a very lore deep and pretty well thought out universe or world. Also characters to like or dislike. Even if they are rough cut gems or buried gems.
Though I think it would be cool if Bethesda branched out and allowed the West Coast of the US come under the creative talents of Obsidian. As they in fact kept to Lore. And the whole East Coast under Bethesda. As they were the reason that area was created. As for Southwest and Midwest areas. Hard to say. As it is pretty civil in those areas. (Personally happy Kansas City, Missouri was put into a game. Even if it is a Ghoul City lol.)

In my playthrough, a deathclaw actually cleaned out the top of the mountain, meaning all I had to do was cheese the deathclaw, and kill a few more at the radio tower. Really glad, seeing how many rushed you in the shanty town

Battle-Cattle are brahmin. The nightkin have a weird obsession with them. Davidson's "Antler" is a brahmin skull, Tabitha warns of the "Battle-cattle" and Night kin sneak down from the black mountain at night ONLY to kill brahmin. For some reason, part of their collective psychoses causes them to fear brahmin and cow-like creatures. They mention the "Two-headed Bear people" riding them, because the NCR is the only faction that raises and cares for brahmin. So the Nightkin think they're related to each other, which is also why they're not TOO far near vegas and instead tend to reach jonestown by way of the west because the closer you get to the eastern side of Vegas, the more farms (and by extension brahmin) there are. Crossing by the way of the east would also see them being attacked by humans defending their Brahmin which could make the Nightkin begin to think they were in cahoots with each other.

Battle-Cattle means brahmin, dude. Super mutants call brahmin "battle cattle". That's why they are scared of and kill brahmin. They think they're dangerous. You learn this from the side quest in Novac, from those settlers that keep losing Brahmin to a nightkin shooting at them at night.
That's one Nightkin who thinks the Brahmin are invading his dreams. I suspect that Tabitha uses the terms Battle Cattle for Legion and Two-Headed Bear People for NCR to keep things simple for the Dum-Dums.

I don’t really think that was FO4’s doing, in the first game there were only two intelligent mutants, the rest are dumb, only able to work with constant instructions from Master.
