+Josh Caswell tlaoc makes you get better accuracy and faster reload when super is charged so with tlaoc it's always up and with the robes on you will almost always have ur stuff up
Josh Caswell Tlaloc has a perk called Overflow, it gives better firerate, stability and other stuff when the super is charged.
Rainment uses orbs to fill Melee and Grenade, so orbs wouldnt go to waste, and as Fireborn you would only super to revive so, you can save the super almost all the time.

Ophidian Aspect looks to be very good for PvP. I need that for my Warlock.
+JMPDoubleX Don't you use the Sunsinger? "Improved siphon" sounds like Voidwalker's Energy Drain, although faster weapon handling would of course be useful for every subclass.

+JMPDoubleX I've been stocking up on Motes of Light and I hope to get it from an exotic gauntlet engram from Xur. Hope RNG is kinder to me in year 2.
+AKSBSU It's basically Ahamkara skull and quickdraw. Which is sick since I wear the helm and use quickdraw on my special weapons, and sometimes primary already.
Kirokill Yeah, that was my impression of it. My main subclass is the Voidwalker, so I'm glad to see those abilities, especially given there doesn't seem to be a Year 2 for the Skull just yet. I think the Skull was massively underrated for PvP. Most focused on the durability during the Nova Bomb and therefore dismissed it for being too situational, but the siphon boost was quite noticeable with the right build, and I typically stacked that faster grenade cooldown with Grenadier/ Army of One on my shotgun. Extra grenades for a Warlock is a VERY good thing.
Ophidian Aspect gauntlets have both siphon and Quick Draw-ish boosts along with fast melee speed. All those are excellent for PvP. The gauntlets and the Astrocyte Verse Blink helmet look like they are going to be my top choices for new PvP gear, although I still think Voidfang Vestments is the best piece of exotic armor for the Voidwalker for PvP.
The first exotic you showed is meant for storm trance perk ability well spring where once u have those orbs get ur melee and grenade back u can regenerate health through the perk!
The main part of the blink nerf is the time it now takes to use weapons and grenades after blinking, the distance was just a small part of the nerf imo
it still prevented them from making certain important jumps
Yea I know but the biggest part imo is the whole wait time
The blink nerf was pretty much pointless because it didn't do a lot at all, the same with shot guns which were hardly touched.

+Center Man People just hate shoulder charge and Fist of havoc because most people that I've seen at least don't really know how to handle being in that situation and tend to panic for Fist of havoc though in PVP you can't use it all the time to make a big impact on the game however you can use it to get rid of other classes using their super or in a near death situation or if you want to call it a panic go a head but when you play a Striker Titan you really only want to be taking shoulder charge or unstoppable and then if you pick shoulder charge you sort of have to use it if you can pull it off. I do believe though that there is no master class out there as they all have there up's and downs
Those warlock gloves that give you quickdraw and ALL weapon loader sound like they will be the Go-to in PVP for warlocks along with the further blink and less of a blink cool down. I won't say 'OP' until I see them in action, but both of those look insane.
If those boots let you crouch around faster than you can walk it'll be laughable and so much fun to use. You'll be like a really fast crab zooming around

I completely agree with the last part of what he says. I feel that all new exotics are just somehow trying to give you a whole bunch of mini bonusses to seem attractiv, but in the end, most people will stay with the over-exotics from year one. I mean, I haven't seen any hunter exotic that comes close to the Aclyophage symbiote (even the much praised Nighthawk is only good in pve and only for bosses), I haven't seen an exotic that comes close to the mask of the third man, or the heart of praxic fire or the obsidian mind or the helm of saint-14. The only category that has somewhat interchangeable exotics are strikers, and thats because most striker exotics simply give you some perk out of the tree (aka, the helm of inmost light and the skullfort). I think maybe they regret giving us such strong exotics early on.
Well, you could always have Transversive Steps equipped while having a weapon with the perk that lets you shoot ammo (I think it's called Shoot to Loot or something like that) to pick it up, thus negating the having to walk over it. Makes it a bit better, but not by much, since it's a fairly rare perk to begin with.
I'm surprised that nobody's mentioned the amazing synergy between the exotic scout rifle Tlaloc, the exotic chest piece Alchemist's Raiment, and the wellspring and inclement weather perks in the stormcaller tree.

Alchemist's Raiment is going to have very good synergy with the Stormcaller perk that allows Stormtrace to last longer when melee and grenade energy are full, and it also might be good in Trials, considering people hang on to their supers anyways
the Stag looks cool. Perk bit situational but handy
Datto the orb thing for sunsingers will be really good because they will only use super when they die anyway. Bonus charge never hurts anyone.

Hey Datto I have a question. Do you gain more rep from actually equipping the normal faction cloaks rather than just do the allegance thing?
do you think the new blink helmet is gonna effect ionic blink on storm caller??

Dunno if anyone has thought of this or actually has the armor, but I feel like the crouch speed-boost given by Transversive Steps may behave differently than how you would first think. I could be completely wrong, but it's entirely possible the speed boost to crouch-walking could be enough to make you faster than normal walking. I base this off of the flavor text, which basically says you don't follow the normal laws of physics: moving faster than standard walking while crouching would follow this. If this is true, it would be really fun and goofy to play around with, but I'm not sure how useful it would be in PvE. It has SOME use in sneaking past enemies you don't want to deal with more easily, but honestly how good is this bonus? It could be borderline broken in PvP, though, as not consistently appearing on the radar while moving faster than walking speed would allow you to ambush opposing players rather consistently.
The weapon reloading aspect, while not an exceptional perk, is still good, and actually sounds like a good fit for Raids and Heroic Strikes, as you don't always have time to reload before getting swarmed or focused-fired by a large group of enemies. Automatically reloading your weapon by picking up the appropriate ammo while avoiding damage makes these situations easier to deal with.
Again, I don't have these boots, and since the expansion has been out almost 2 weeks, someone out there is going to be able to prove me right or wrong. I just felt like I had to throw the possibility out there.
Guys, I see a lot of comments saying that certain exotics are not being carried over into year two. From what I hear from PlanetDestiny, and a few articles on the web, all year one exotics will have year two equivelants, eventually. Besides, for guns like Necrochasm, and to a lesser extent, the Elder Cipher weapons, these required a lot of effort to get. I dont think Bungie would invalidate them. Especially when Necrochasm was just buffed.
the helmet doesn't really negate the nerf because there is still a massive delay when trying to shoot right after blink. And quick draw doesn't fix that either. The helmet is really going to be good for spark running. But not much else imo.
Do you think that the warlock boots will work if you shoot the ammo with one of those fancy guns that pick up ammo that is shot?
i think that new helmet was not ment just for voidwalker you can blink with the storm caller when you super.
Datto I looked you up on the Bungie App, and you have the Year One Destiny Players exclusives(Be Brave Emblem, Old Guard Shader) don't they come out when TTK comes out?
+Jacob Maes There was a bug that made them release early for some, however they'll have to delete them to do the quest to receive them properly.
you could probably use that warlock helmet with the stormcaller's ionic blink ability.
I get the idea that each class has one exotic armor piece we haven't seen yet, they said there would be 6 for each class, and each only have 5, as if we counted class items we would have far too many. We know they're keeping stuff off the armory (i.e the sleeper stimulant).
With the Ophidian Aspect, it would be a good idea to use Surge with them and the two Siphon nerfer abilities

Ophidian aspect looks like it's gonna be my new go to pvp exotic being that I'm not sure if the Ram is carrying over. Over all very happy about the warlock exotics. The blink helmet will probably be awesome as well. Looking forward to ttk

Fun Fact: Felwinter is a Voidwalker Warlock who was infamous in the crucible for his Blink-Shotgun method.
You mentioned how the blink helm will only work for voidwalkers, but do you think it'll affect the Stormcaller's Ionic Blink?
+Beheader87 don't think so because ionic blink is a shorter distance and you can activate it 3 times before cool down.I hope so, but I think its different than blink

Having watched all 3 videos, I think I will be sticking with a lot of yr1 upgraded Exotic Armour. I still think most of the best Exotics (weapons included) were in the base game. Subsequent expansion exotics, including TTK haven't exactly got me excited... Maybe a Touch of Malice might...

warlocks had kind of the short end of the stick in vanilla destiny in terms of exotic wise, they had some good stuff but not great in my opinion.. but after the dlcs, they really made so many good ones and op ones.. so.. WARLOCK MASTER RACE
+Jedd Joseph Disagree. For example Voidfang vestments were easily the best exotic out there for pvp for warlocks. Respawning with one of those OP firebolt grenade's that leave you one shot for ages.

it looks like titans and worlock are gaining hunters tree perks or hunters exotics tell me are hunters gaining a self-rest ability?are hunters gaining a one hit kill ability like the titans?.
I think for my Stormcaller I will favour Claw of Ahamkara over Impossible Machines - 2 melee charges is too good to pass up to begin with, but I definitely think Alchemists Raiment is a good consideration to help qualify for Transcendence.
This is basically my plan. Claws + Thunderstrike + Amplitude + Feedback sounds fantastic.

Warlock is looking to be pretty strong for TTK but honestly I think the Titan is going to be the most fun to use. Regardless I'm probably gonna end up using my hunter as always

Holy hell, I need the Stag in my life. I would use it even if it cut my HP in half. That thing is all different types of fly.
The new exotics don't force you to mix up what you use because they're specific, it's just because they all do nothing. I mean, yes something like Saint 14 is very good, but one uses it all the time because nothing competes with it. If there were other exotics that, for example; provided a bonus to weapons of light, that would make people think twice before uses Saint 14. Introducing exotics that just give you glimmer for picking up ammo doesn't force people to choose their exotics more, or just nerfs exotics in general (so long as the good exotics aren't available)
What was the point in the blink nerf if they just go and make an exotic for warlocks only, where it makes the nerf redundant!

As a warlock main and having been one since the beta I can say that some of your reasonings behind some of these exotics and their usefulness is a little off. I personally can see a lot of potential in some of these exotics but I guess you wouldn't see that as much since you play Titans mainly. (There is no hate towards Datto in my comment, it's just my opinion.)

how many exotics are there for each class
The Voidwalker kind of got screwed with the Year 2 stuff, although thankfully Obsidian Mind for PvE and Voidfang Vestments for PvP both made it. Light Beyond Nemesis obviously works for all Warlock subclasses. Disappointing to see Nothing Manacles not get a second year considering they didn't come out all that long ago. I'm not surprised The Ram was gone for Year 2. It was so strong for either subclass that it was causing some problems.

The Ram is certainly not showing up in the kiosk. I have every exotic weapon and armor piece for all 3 classes, and it's not there. Hopefully at least Nothing Manacles makes it later on. They were fantastic, and Scatter grenades are pretty useless without them. Nothing Manacles opened up a completely new build possibility with 2 void grenades and one of the most deadly grenades in general with Annihilate/ Bloom. Got a 6-kill with a single grenade in Control thanks to Bloom. Unlike most 1-hit kill grenades, these just have to land next to you and they can kill you and possibly a couple buddies next to you. Throw one on a Control zone or a spawning heavy ammo box, and you can kill multiple people easily.
