Good overview, Zany! Maybe I was asking too much of this app by recording with my cell phone's microphone? I'll give it another try with the Audient at 24-bit/96 kHz and a couple of different mics. Most of my samples were recorded with lossy audio compression (AAC) and that may also throw off its quality.
It's definitely worth trying again, Adam 👌🏾. I don't expect wonders from restoration tools like these ones, but the result with prime:vocal after the twick is definitely good from what I've heard and on different audio sources I tried it on. Obviously, getting a good recording is always better than trying to fix issues, but this will be handy for when clients that record in their home studios in an untreated room send in file for mixing 😎
@@ZanyPro agreed. I'm basing my opinion off other tools already being out there that can do it better. Some, cheaper. sonible made some big claims with this one in their marketing materials. By the way, I liked the dirty lyrics in this song! 😀 iZotope RX comes to mind and I was recently alerted to Supertone Clear which I'll be trying out. I don't have a Mac computer, otherwise I'd also take a look at Hush. Acon Digital Acoustica and accentize dxrevive are two others worth investigating.
@RealHomeRecording I definitely get what you mean. Haha, I had to clean up the dirty lyrics a bit so it's not offensive to some people as you know the kind of world we currently live in 😂. RX is great, I have the Elements version and still use that. 👍🏾💯
