I received my Bergin back in March, and was impressed by the size and quality of this item and decided I wanted another Action Pack, to load up for an emergency, first -aid kit, but they were out of stock. Finally back in stock after 6 months wait. Received notice on Friday, ordered it, and received notice this AM (Monday) that it was shipped. Looking forward to getting mine soon. Thanks for featuring the Action Pack in your video!
I use an identical bag from Snugpac. Have had it for approx 8 years and it's still not showing any signs of wear despite going absolutely everywhere with me. It lives in my daypack and can be removed for when I don't want or can't carry the daypack. Contents tend to vary according to need but generally a small firekit, small FAK, multiple, small LED torch, 2.1mtr X 1.2mtr emergency blanket X 2, gloves both medical as well as a tactile work type pair and anything else needed as appropriate to the activity at hand. Love the versatility of the pack. One thing to bear in mind is that it isn't waterproof and the zips certainly aren't, so with that in mind I stow my items inside ziplock bags.
Hi again Bushwacker, I bought this along with the Bergen rucksack last week, partly due to your previous review, I knew it would be good but I'm amazed at how much kit I can get into 55ltr bag, all of my all year round bug out stuff and room left over! Very, very pleased with it, you should be earning commission :-) Many thanks for some great posts, all the very best to you and yours. Dougie.
Good stuff. Looks like a high quality bag. I have a small folding solar panel that I use to keep the power bank topped off. One use for that molle webbing is to braid para cord. Then insert it into the webbing. Keeps it handy. I can pull out just what I need quickly. As far as all the lighters and firestarters. I always keep several but I do not like to keep them in the same pocket or pouch. Always an additional lighter and tinder in the first aid kit.
Yes , I have been interested in purchasing a new waist bag , and I am very pleased to see the one you are presently using in the outdoors ! The pocket with your swiss army knife and the clip attached to it is a life safer so you do not lose it very easily , one of the greatest ideas I have seen !!! The other front pocket for the light torch is a very handy location , indeed better than stumbling in the dark looking for the flashlight in your coat pocket !!! The large compartment storage with plenty of space , and smaller separate liners to stash things out of the way is well designed ! The looped straps in the front , and the option to store away straps/buckle in the back is an added bonus mate !!! What is the price on the DD waist bag only , or does it come with the rucksack and must be purchased together ??? Thanks S.S.S./*Tom
Bushwacker Man : The DD action pack how does it stand up to the rain , is it watertight ? The fabric looks very durable to withstand snags from tree branches with thorns ? The zippers with pull tabs look extra durable indeed , do they work as smoothly as they look , and do they close extra tight to prevent any moisture or dirt/dust from getting into the compartments ! Thanks for making this video and any answers you may provide us with , this would be greatly appreciated by my channel and myself for future outdoor endeavors !!! Thanks S.S.S./*Tom
@@BushwackerMan: The SAS Survival Guide handbook is inside your day pack for emergency referral at any time !!! Yes , I have had the full size SAS Survival Guide for close to 20 years now ! I have read it front to back several times over the years , should be mandatory reading for all who venture forth into the great outdoors , whether in your own backward or long distances away from home ! This book will save your life in an emergency situation !!!
Wow that pack holds a lot of stuff....I no one thing you never will have to worry about 🔥 fire.....Love you and Becks channel ....We’re was Buster ?🙁.......T.Gunz.........

Defo the most organized bushcrafter on UA-cam by a mile 💯👍👍
Yea thats a nice compact size if i feel like cycling to the woods might take a look at that for the spring
Think you should pack an extra lighter just in case you lose the other 50 lighters you already have, just to be on the safe side like 😜
I love fire, back up for a back up to back up. You made me laugh 👍👍👍👍
Just died 😂😂 although this is the same way I am it killed me laughing @gatecrasher

Thanks for the review
Great looking bag Wacker holds a lot of gear. Bit surprised the books you were reading I thought they would have more like mills and boon.

Q : Will it work as a quick over the shoulder bag ? Or even sling bag , is the strap long enough ? Thanks for any info .
Possible depending on your size. I have a 34 inch waist and there is 12 inch spare👍👍

Wow, I mean there's redundancy and then there's just stuffing your sack with 6 lighters.

I'm guessing that you are girl outdoors dad - just from the way you talk and your accent. It's uncanny.
Yes you are correct 👍👍
