Great video, my man. I like that all the ingredients were common kitchen spices. Some UA-camrs tend to use spices and herbs that require a trip to the grocery store…a trip that I refuse to take for one meal. Can’t wait to try this later today.
Ok.. I've never made a 2nd comment before, but I had to on this one. I just finished eating this and it was AWESOME! I did change one thing tho.. i reduced the black pepper to 1.5 tsps instead of Tablespoons.. Also, i took apricot preserves, added a little water to it and heated it in the microwave. I 1st tried it without.. Excellent! Then tried with and it was awesome! Thanks again for a killer recipe.
Smoked honey glazed salmon last night. It just wasn't what I thought it would be. Searched UA-cam to see if I could find the answer. I believe you have solved the problem can't wait to try this next wknd. Thank you 😁😎👊
Great job on the cook! Btw, you sir are a brave man! Lifting the salmon off the grill and transfering each piece over the dogs. Lol.. Thank you for sharing your way. I'm looking forward to doing this tonight.
It WAS delicious! My fault was I didn’t let the grill settle down to a lower temperature and I slightly overcooked the filets but the flavor was still amazing. Thanks so much for your help.
I don't know if salmon is more resilient, but typically you shouldn't use tongs to pick up fish. It breaks very easily. Use a spatula! Other than that, thanks for the video. I look forward to cooking salmons on my Weber Kettle for the first time.
Interested in trying the recipe it looks delicious. I'm not good at grilling. Can I use a gas grill and if so how do I go about getting the smoke taste without the cherry chips?
Hello. You can still set up an indirect side and place some cherrywood chips inside of a some aluminum foil over the burner. Place the meat on the side with no lit burners and let it cook indirectly.
Soy honey and garlic marinade. Drop the salmon in the bag and let sit at least an hour. Grill away. I use aluminum foil to hold the marinade. Bend up around foil no to lose the marinade. Awesome

Look into coconut amino! I have not tried it myself but have read that it is a good soy substitute. Check out this article on the subject... www.acouplecooks.com/coconut-aminos-vs-soy-sauce/
Great recipe but the only thing I’m adding is worsheshire sauce. Trying it today. The only thing you never mentioned was if you left the skin on. I’m assuming you did. I am.
@@virginiagraceliving it was! Thank you so much, too! Just tried your honey glaze but just added a bit more honey for a thicker sauce. The salmon was delicious and I went and bought the dried red pepper which gave it a kick but not too much kick. This will be my go to for salmon now. I made some sweet carrots and sweet beets for the sides. Thanks again!
I really liked the way you prepared the food but might I suggest for the quality of the video to 1) turn off the TV in the background and 2) clean up the surroundings like the sink
Love the way the dogs head is following each salmon as it's being taken off the BBQ lol
Thanks so much! And I love the dogs nose while cutting up the fish. LOL!

Hello. You can still set up an indirect side and place some cherrywood chips inside of a some aluminum foil over the burner. Place the meat on the side with no lit burners and let it cook indirectly.
You may want to soak the wood chips in water first since they are small and may burn too quickly without giving much smoke.
