Love this! Thank you for making this video, I love learning more about specific types of wines and the region they're from!
Just found this vid.... Very2 useful tips and recommendations indeed. Thank you
A lot of great information!
That was actually really good and informative video. Kudos for listing producers in the description
Great vid. So I had that last wine you showcased. It was a gran cru classe from Château Prieure Lichine , Margaux … 1978. That was one that appreciated, I’d say although I’m no somm. But I did subscribe.
Fantastic information. Really love this style of video where you go through regions and then give tips. The maps are very helpful as I’m a visual learner. Great work. Thank you for sharing this. Maybe French and Italian wines next?
Thank you for watching!!! I'm a visual learning as well!! Absolutely!! I'll make my way through through the Italian and French wine regions
Only 485 subscribers!?!?! That is downright criminal for such good content. Keep it up!
Had a lovely bottle of Chateau Durfort-Vivens, Margaux yesterday with Christmas lunch.
Great presentation! I usually keep my Bordeaux at 55 degree for 20+ years…
great job lady
Valley girl meets Bordeaux.
You have a nice voice.
Any thoughts about Demazel Bordeaux Superieur? I bought two 2018 bottles at a supermarket for less than PHP300 each ($6 or depends on the current exchange rate).
For me, it’s bit strong but has a balanced taste.
Great video, how can I better assess all of this info at once when shopping at a wine store? I often get overwhelmed with all the choices in the "value range". Thanks
Just start buying and drinking some.
I’d love to learn about German wines- like what exists besides Riesling, and how to find a Riesling that’s not cloyingly sweet!
Thank you for watching!! Yes I can certainly do Germany. There are plenty of other wines besides Riesling which are very tasty!
Super seconds have nothing to do with the “growth” a lot of super second come from 3rd 4th and 5th growths
5 First Growth. What about Petrus?
Yes also a very highly sought after wine as well
Chateau Greysac is a good wine.
Taste good and easy on the wallet 👌
@@TheSommNextDoor I was at a webinar last year on Bordeaux wines featuring the late Steven Spurrier and that was one of the wines I tried.
@@numanuma20 Oh wow that's very cool and sounds like it was a special event
"They're blends, honey." 😂😂😂
🙊haha have to check my sass level
Are u stoned? I mean in a good way...lol
You mean does she have some minerality?
If I am looking for value I typically just avoid Bordeaux. Good wines but it feels like you pay for the name.
Not all are out of reach. I'll enjoy a $18 Bordeaux Superieur over a California Cab any day of the week.
Concern for vintages is completely ovlerblown.
Vintages mattered in the old days when vintners were at the mercy of Mother Nature for the quality of their wine, especially in European climates. Nowadays, not so much, thanks to modern winemaking technology. So much now is controlled, measured, adjusted, and blended with scientific precision.
The majority of Bordeaux is for every day drinking and is consumed within a few years or sooner, even by the French. Vintage variation is for those in the wine trade and the occasional serious aficionado. Yes, it matters for the First Growths, etc., but readers of this channel will never buy those.
maybe work on your French pronunciation!!
25 seconds of video and I ran away.. Wine is something serious and seing a young girl moving hands and hair.. an simple talk not for me... maybe I miss something clever but I do not think so.. bye
Bordeaux the most snobby and overrated wines
Nothing more overated than $40 California reds.
