People often say “I can’t believe this content is free” but in this case it is really the true. This video has some of the best production quality and breath of knowledge I’ve ever seen on UA-cam. It’s like a super high end documentary and frankly I feel like I have robbed you watching it for free. Well done.
Thank you for the kind words! It’s important to me the show and knowledge is free, as wine knowledge is too often inaccessible. However, we do have our Vino VIP club (with bonus content) for those who want to support 👍👍
This show went way beyond travel, wine and education... this was a great "family" business interviewing a great family business. Federica and her family blew us away, and we're new fans of you guys too.
Thank you Dan and Eileen! I'm so happy you enjoyed the episode, and I'm so happy you found us! I agree, amazing to get to know the Pio Cesare family. Can't wait for you to start watching our other episodes; let me know what you think!
Tutta l'Italia è bella!!! Gli altri paesi possono solo rosicare!!! Olanda Germania rosicate e mangiate junk food, beccatevi pioggia e vento tutti i giorni,!!! Scordatevi il mare bello!!! Rosicate !!!
My appreciation has temporarily shifted from Burgundy to Nebbiolo as of late. I've been drinking pinot for 20+ years now, which says a lot. I have a bottle of Pio Cesare Barolo in my collection that I picked up on a whim, and this awesome show has opened my eyes to the region, passion, and the people there. Life is about discoveries and I love that I can appreciate the legacy and tradition with every pour and tasting. Thank you!!!!
There's actually a ton of similarities between the two! Piedmont is definitely a fun place to explore all the different vineyards and sub regions. Thanks for watching, so glad you enjoyed!
Fantastic and all true! We were in Piemonte last May, and wow! The little village of Barolo is like going to Mecca, and it's not even crowded. The vineyards outside of Neive are not to be believed, as you look across the valley toward Barbaresco. We shall return!
The standards of quality in Italy in making/producing things are astounding. The care, the passion and striving for excellence are just on a different level really
I'm from Turin and proud of my home region. We often go for a degustazione in the weekends. Together with the tasting you get an amount of food which is practically an abundant full course meal
I loved Turin, it was a great city to check out! Hope to visit again and spend longer; maybe go to a tasting with you one day! And sorry about that "fact"; someone else had mentioned it too. I don't how we missed that in our checks; I think we were trying to say something about the size of the cities compared to other cities, but we definitely messed up!
Cried at the end. Such a beautiful edit… I always liked and felt drawn to the wine farms in the hills and similar things and I never knew why but the narration in the end made me realise that it’s because those places aren’t in a hurry, aren’t trying to catch up to the latest trends or anything, instead they just exist and will continue doing the same thing like they have been doing for such a long time, having found their reason to be and just being content with it :)
My daughter and I just returned from Tuscany and the Chianti region. We had a great time but we are a novice at this. I stumbled across your channel this morning. Wow, what an amazing job you do of telling a story and the way you film and put the videos' is amazing. It is quite the production. Thanks for providing such a high caliber production with great info.
Doug thanks for the kind words! I am so happy the episodes are bringing you joy, and I am excited for you to watch more of them! I hope you had a blast in Tuscany, and really hope to visit myself someday soon!
When I open my winery I will remember to carry our wines everywhere and I will purposefully take the wine where I can market it. What an amazing story.
It's quite special to see places where you've actually been walking your self, and with that said.. I need to go back to Piedmont sometime in the future. What an amazing place.
Amazing video, thank you very much. Frederica your knowledge about vino is something else. You are also naturally beautiful woman. Love and blessings from Serbia
What a fantastic video! I am really touched with the winery’s history and very impressed with the competence of this young woman leading the business with her family. Congrats!!
I really like your videos. Didactic, energetic and accurate! As an old guy who knows a lot about wine yet still has a lot to learn you are a breath of fresh air my friend!
What a beautiful region, making my favorite wines. Pio Cesare is an incredible winery. It was a pleasure to have a look inside its amazing cellars. Federica is an impressive & beautiful young woman, so knowledgeable & taking on so much responsibility at such a young age.
The Pio Cesare family operation is extraordinary. The perfection of the wine making operations are clear from the well tended vineyards to the amazing cellers. All speaks skill, care, pride of product and hard work over many years.
Tremendous content my friend. I subbed just 40 seconds into this video. You give a lot of hard info, without it being dull. Just great great documenting and deliver. And I watch for free! Thank you!
This video production is beyond just educational, I’m very touched by your perfection on each shot/frame/dialogue/editing, this can only be done with high respect to the great winery family and audience. Thank you! Lucky to find this channel
One of the most beautiful and informative documentaries available online regarding wine. From the footages of the location, background music, the passionate approach and detailed info on the wine. Mama Mia, great job sir, we appreciate you and your team !!!
This documentary is truly heartwarming and inspiring for anyone who has a passion for wine. It beautifully captures the essence of winemaking and the love that goes into every bottle. 🍷✨
Whatever your video and audio crew members are paid, it's not enough. Phenomenal work on this video! I'm not much of a wine connoisseur, but this is the rare depiction of Italy in which the technology does justice to the scenery. Bravo!
Excellent show. The visuals, content, and editing were all top notch. Federica and her family were quite charming. I look forward to another new production!

I have seen this episode at least 4 times now. Having spend a week in Alba and also touring Pio Cesare Winery, it always pulls at my heart strings. Can't wait to return!😍
Beautiful video. If I ever get to Alba I will get there. Absolutely. This is why I got into wine. The family, the history, the viticulture, the enjoyment.
Awesome video! You should visit Montepulciano in Toscana, home of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. Especially Contucci, Valdipiatta, and Il Macchione. The best!!!
I am so happy to start wine investing back then in 2012 , it has yield me so much profit , and I have also have the ability to drink some good wine and have amazing collection ! It has been a good experience for me as a lover of wine to have the ability to go for wine testing around the world ! I think wine testing is better than buying stocks 😆

Lovely ❤.. Thank you for the wonderful narration regarding the legendary vineyard of Italy! I loved the Pio family ❤ ,the fashion and their love towards wine ❤
This is my 3rd time watching this video about delicious wine from this lovely part of Italy, great content, great education. Drinking wine and watching these episodes is my new weekend hobby

The dude hosting is awesome as well, so polite and chill, it's all just great :) This is one of those youtube videos which isn't really a "youtube video" but a full-fledged tv production with serious talent behind it. You're the best! Glad you're with us now, can't wait for you to watch more episodes! We've got a lot of past episodes available, and a few more this season still to come!
What an amazing video presentation of this truly unique Italian wine region! We've been to Italy several times but have not yet been to Piedmonte! It's on our bucket list for sure. I so enjoyed seeing and listening to Francesca whose now taken over the vineyard operations since her Father's death last year! I'm sure he's watching over her from heaven and very proud indeed.
Amazing show! I recently came across your channel and I'm hooked. I hope you are able to continue traveling and producing these shows. The quality and stories are top notch !! Well done.

I actually wanted to check these out to review the wine region as travelling soon but you are also teaching me wine! Well done please keep this up mate and i will share with my friends.

Top class content, really enjoyed this video and will head down to local/nearest wine dealer to seek out some Pio Cesare wines tomorrow based on this superb vlog.
I loved the white Arneis when I was in Alba in March. And there's no need to eat pizza there. There are some really delicious restaurants. And the day we arrived, the city smelled like nutella everywhere die to the Ferrero factory. So not only Pio Cesare is an ambassador of the region, but Ferrero, also.
I came across your video researching my wife’s families roots in the Piedmont region. I stuck around and watched this AMAZING video. I’m a new subscriber now. 👍🏾👍🏾
Nebbiolo is also grown in Valle D’Aosta and Lombardia:) if you come again you should go to taste the Gavi and Timorasso from Tortona. Pio Cesare was one of the first Barolo I drunk, my father was bringing home many bottles. I was around 16 very nice, I like the etichetta feels me history

Excellent informative clear video! Thank you saying " aroma of dried" roses! I didn't get it, until we opened a fine bottle of barbaresco: out came a whole jar of rose pot pourri!
Glad it was helpful! Yes, roses are so quintessential Nebbiolo for sure.

A tip of my wine beret to you sir. Perfect production: audio, video, mixing, lights, microphones. The style flows the way it should leading even the novice to understand many concepts and your interviewing approach is just simply nice and professional. Not to mention your own knowledge of the subject and your obvious happy, positivie passion. Many simillar wine-docus are made by people who are more full of themselves than the subject at hand. Not you. You should be mega sponsored by world vinyards and winemakers for your briliant work. Thank you, I enjoyed this very very much. Cin Cin.
That show was fabulous! Wow to be there and to experience the beauty of that place and taste the amazing wine and learn of the history of Pio Cesare, how cool is that for you Great job. This is top notch videography. I am glad you are getting many more followers. Keep the great shows coming. I , being Italian , but have never been to Italy, loved this so much. Boy the Italians know how to live.

Thanks! It’s a good region to have as a favorite, it’s one you can always keep learning more about; there’s so many sub regions and soils and such!
We are moving to the Alba region in May (Mango).... so excited to experience all it has to offer.
Amazing, congratulations!
Great episode. I learned a lot. Subscribed and now I need to watch all of you other videos. Keep ‘em comin’
Thank you! Next episode comes out 12/17!!
Such incredible production quality. I'm glad your show exists, but I want more areas 😝
More to come for sure!!
Wow! Great quality video! Thank you
Thank you!
I love this show
Good to know thank you for the information and the amazing video 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nebbiolo is also grown in Valle D’Aosta and Lombardia:) if you come again you should go to taste the Gavi and Timorasso from Tortona. Pio Cesare was one of the first Barolo I drunk, my father was bringing home many bottles. I was around 16 very nice, I like the etichetta feels me history
Nice! Yes, I need to explore more of northern Italy for sure. Glad you’re familiar with the winey, it’s a great one!
@@visforvino I am trying to become a sommelier now I am doing a professional course. I would like maybe to start something like you hope to see where to start :)
@@stefanocunietti5643 good luck with the exam! And keep working and moving forward and you’ll find your path! 🙌🙌
@@visforvino Thank you :) A nice video maybe would be to show how you starte to approache the wine and what you are doing :) Maybe you did and I did not see :) You are doing a beatiful work and videos
Excellent production, 4K video, and audio.
Thanks Dennis!
Cin Cin.
Cheers, thank you so much!!
Thank you! Yes, we are growing quickly, which is an amazing feeling! So glad you enjoyed. And I hope you get to visit soon! There's a reason Italy is such a popular destination, there magic there for sure. Our crew is Italian, so I vouch for the fact that Italians are the best!
This show needs to be its own streaming service series.
Thanks! Honestly, if we can grow this channel substantially, we’ll be in good shape!
