beautiful car misha and beautiful addition! in terms of the "crank hub" non sense, ive heard that was only pron on the M2 COMP S55 engine. The N55 were relatively reliable/ correct me if im wrong :)
As an owner of a 2018 LBB M2 w/ Manual with similar tasteful mods, I'm excited to try this car out later this season when I head to Europe from the states.
Very good looking M2. Although I agree with the absence of cooling problems (in regards of oil and coolant), the stock intercooler does produce very high intake air temperatures when pushing it, often setting back ignition timing (in its turn making the car slower). A larger intercooler would be highly recommended. Just my 2 cents. Furthermore, great content!
This 100%. I think for doing a lap or two at a time, the oem cooling might be ok for them. That said for a track day, anything over 70F/21C ambient temp, these cars pull timing pretty bad. I was nearly 6-7 seconds slower on a 2.5 mile circuit when timing would get pulled.
Yeah, I think the same 👍🏼 The M3/M4 is to big for a real sports car. Okay, the weight of the M2 is high too, but I think it's more nimble and agile 😊 Love from Berlin, Ramsi 🙋🏻♂️
thank you so much misha for bringing all this content to us every day. you’ve made me fall in love with this track and studying every lap you post. 😂 been watching every day for months now i am hoping to come one day. i have been playing sim nordschleife every day and i love it i really cant wait to take a taxi and drive myself one day.
Great job George. This car looks set to hit the track in a few weeks' time. Interesting to learn of the M2 not requiring any cooling mods over stock standard on such a challenging track as the Nurburgring/Nordschleife.😎🇦🇺👍
The new CR'S Nankangs are awesome, running 265 18s in my wifes 510rwhp FD RX7, now they are the first 'semi' (not semi lol) tyre ive used but in out Superlap here in NZ, in Street Class, im beating more track oriented cars (while not running closer to 480 rwhp) that should be faster and are running the AR1s. Love the M2, gorgeous car, would love to drive one.
I thought that for the harnesses to be street legal it was mandatory to have a push button to unlock them, not a twist knob (that you usually have on 5 points harnesses) but if you had a push button on a 5 points harness it was OK.
long beach blue is the most beautiful blue color in automotive history. if there wont be any individual program for the G87, i will definetly bring it to a paintshop for LBB makeover
Just saying, my Beetle is stock power and constantly running into approx. 140 degrees after 1,5 laps, latest. I know, it is no track car but more fun to drive than one would expect. Anyway, I’m going to fix that this year. Most likely even just around the corner in the Rudolf-Diesel-Straße.
I hope you keep it long enough for me to drive it. I can't make it to Europe this year. As an owner of a LBB 2017 M2 there is no other car I want to drive around the Ring.
As a younger guy with much less cash I do wonder are the less powerful 2 series coupes as good to drive relative to the power difference? Or are the non-M cars way too soft for sportyish driving on the street?
For all lassy people like me ther are prices listed in the link in the description. I hawe just one aditional qestion. Becose the wify thing will take care of the dog do we get the instructor with the car. Or it's just the rent of the car at Apex house on the spot, drive to Nordschleife, do the lap return the car???
does anyone know if the rear seat delete carpet is from stern performance? i've heard mixed opinions on its fitting, as im looking to buy it from them + the net

I'm going to drive from Norway to the Nürburgring for my first time this summer with my audi rs3! Really looking forward to it! Is it better to get there right when it opens or later in the day? Or is there any specific day where there are less cars on the track?
@@adrianhh Do check the calendar tho! On weekdays it usually only opens for TF around 17h15-17h30 till about 19h as the trackmarshalls are mainly volunteers who help out after their dayjob.
I think the German State and Nurburgring should update their safety protocols. Four point harnesses, no HANS. This is a bit dangerous. Motorsport is giving us solutions. Keep up. Finaly, I love Racetech seats, because they are comfortable and come in different sizes. Are they allowed?
@Franzino I'm referring to 2:38 when he talks about crankhub upgrade on s55 motors. Doesn't take a genius to figure out the m2 in the video is a non comp n55 m2
M2 LCI is a such Beautiful car! N55 has actually the best F8X engine sound!!!
As and OG M2 owner, I agreee wholeheartedly
I’ve heard some arguments that it’s even stronger than the N55… slower, but stronger! Lol

Awesome attention to detail combining that beautiful M2 blue with silver stickers and wheels 😊 Lovely ❤
That is absolutely gorgeous. Amazing work!

Just got a M2 for track with and daily driving, can’t wait!
This is my track/daily set up since 2016 :)
A little advertising before the season doesn't hurt... ;-)
Such a beatifull M2, well done team!
what is the manufacturer of the wheels studs conversion please? I don't get the brand.
Dream car, really hope I'll be able to give it a go this summer

Interesting comments about the down sides of manual transmissions.
The Recaro Pole has street legal homologation for M2? Regards!

My next visit isn’t till July, ugh. I’ll reserve soon.
Any installation tips for the MA-46Bs or is it straightforward and they dont squeal as much as the N39s?
Such a pretty car 😍

The M235/240’s are pretty solid but below that price u can better get a older 3 series like E36
I’ve owned both an M2 and M240i and if you get a 240, good tires and an LSD on the M240i you’ll have a blast.

@@mgcharoudin I remember someone lapping the Ring with a puppet. 🥰
All the car you could ever need for the track realistically.
The M2 is just a great little track weapon proven in the Nurburgring. I’m very proud to own this exact spec minus the DCT. 6 speed gang here 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼💙💙💙
I’m purchasing a new G87 M2 what engine oil and weight are you using in your cars for all the Nuremberg ring driving at High speed high rpm use
Weight?

Has it got standard charge pipe ? 🤔
One day the standard charge pipe will break....mine broke at the ring :(
M2 or RS3 are my top 2 dream cars, but I guess for track use RS3 is nowhere near M2.
You're right
Car looks super clean..... for now 😂😂
in my opinion the M/T cars are the ones that need the crank mod because clutch kicks can be violent
Doesn’t need crankhub, as it isn’t a S55 engine.
