This is the best tutorial I’ve have found so far on UA-cam so thank you for having it up close so we can actually see what to do to make and use the knitting machine. I now understand how to make a beanie. Thank you again. Take care 💜
True the best
Maybe im just hungry but it looks like ramen and i love it🤤
I’m gonna be honest, I thought the same thing! But I’m also starving 🤣
Your comment sent a shiver down my spine.
Lol...funny!
No I agree
I don't like ramen, but i like spaghetti 🤤
did my first hat following your video. thank you so much, your work and instructions showing step by step was awesome and you showed me where to stop machine and where the white needles needs to be, other videos had their hands in the way and didn't show the placements as you have. Thank you again, I made a hat!!!!
What a sweet little model! Lovely color yarn used and great tips on casting off, thank you!

Oh my goodness that you for doing your video close up when you were casting off . I just got my machine today and it didn't come with instructions. So I've been watching videos all day trying to find someone who has a close up of the cast off . Thank you so much for that . I'm subscribed to your channel now
This is a great video. Thank you for sharing.
Awesome job bravoooooo. I was amazed. So I went to Joann’s Fabric, got some yarn and started this project
Great job!
I made some for Veterans and they were happy to have them. Light weight yet warm. I'll have to start putting pompoms on them. Thanks so much and your son's little hand was so precious.

🙏
i was thinking you had 3 hands, and i was like lucky.
I was wishing I had more hands so I can do many things at the same time.. 😉
Loved tye zoom in angles..total new beginner, was afraid to even cast on ...
You can do it!
Thank you I just got a knitting machine and I am trying to learn how to use it.
You can do it!
Thank you you explain it that I get I ty
Very cool
Great review ms Sharon.
Very nice.
I love the background music
Thanks for you demonstration, but cranking 100 rounds for me was A LOT, I ended up cranking 90 and my beanie is huuuuuuuuge! I'm gonna unmake it and try again 🙈
The good thing about redoing it is you don't have to frogged it and rewind. You just need to get the ends and crank it again this time with the exact number of rounds you think is enough.
It's really different with other yarns.. I had to use a measuring tape to check if the size is enough.
At the end the best way to do it is to start hooking them as you're starting to turn it for the last round instead of fully doing a last round. So that you're not risk and drop in them all while you're trying to attach them. So when you're doing the last round start hooking them off when you have like six through it cuz that will lower your risk of losing one
Thanks for the tip.
I just got my machine today. I get about 4 rows and it starts dropping stitches. Got fed up so I just put it in the closet (time out). 😂 I’ll get back on it tomorrow
Yes this needs a lot of practice.. but you will get the hang of it.
Thank you so much I have watched so many tuts on this and your video I can actually understand clearly Thank-you for going slowly and explaining clearly. Through your video ( after trying to follow other video instructions failing) I managed to make thee wearable hats. Really appreciate it! I will definitely be watching only your tuts! Keep up the good work!
You are so welcome!
It was a great video. Did you try to use tape yarn on your knitting machine ?
I was about to ..but when I tried the fuzzy yarn, it was making a lot of noises so I know the knitting machine struggles with thicker yarn. It can work on some bulky Yarns but the moment you crank it, it's like saying "I might break a needle". 😅 It works great on lightweight yarn..
@@SharonLee2600 Ah ok 😢how thick is your fuzzy yarn? I see on Internet that the machine is made for yarns from 7 to 9 US or 4 to 8 mm on addi guide. The tape yarn I want to use is 5mm so US 8. According to the instructions it should be good?
Thank for the video, very pretty hat, what yarn did you use please?
You are welcome..😘Kanebo Japan Yarn
@@SharonLee2600 thank you
That yarn makes me think of Ramen. ❤
Wow galeng sis!
Baka yung pinaka tension Niya yun
What is a good yarn for the sentro machine?
Could you make a video on how to sew the top hole shut please
Its easy just go around the hole to secure
Can I use the same patterb with a dk yarn?
Absolutely
You shouldn't crank it all the way around after you have finished, in case stitches drop off the machine.
Taking the stitches off as you wind, it is a better idea to prevent that from happening as you found out because you had stitches dropped
When you cast off if you crank the white needle past the post then take your needle and take the stiches from the rightside of the post. The way your doing it is on the leftside...if you do it on the rightside and crank slowly the stiches wont pop off to have a dropped stich.
I got used to doing it on the leftside
Just use some waste yarn at the end and unravel the waste yarn as you do the bind off!
I have Sentro knitting machine I love it but I also have a addi knitting machine king size I love this one
Did you use tape yarn before ?
@@onika2836 used red heart soft yarn
@@yarnworksbylydianannen3396 ok thank you
Where did you get the needle from
I bought it online.
Gostaria de comprar com fazer.
Quiero comprarlo,no sé dónde alguien me puede ayudar gracias
You can buy on Amazon
How do you not get the bottom two fray?
The bottom? Its easy you just need to gather the stitches to close. After you're done with the last row. The last part is the one we need to secure while its still on the needles.
@@SharonLee2600 do you have a tutorial on that I’m just learning with my sentro knitting machine
What are you making
Beanie
Ok where online
You can buy a knitting machine like this on eBay, Amazon or any of your favorite online shopping site.
how much yarn does one hat take?
About 50 grams
love the tutorial but the yarn looks like ramen. be cool if it was ramen inspired. 😍
Thick yarn must make it very much longer. I did 100 rows and I have 2 hats in one.
Oh.. i usually do the tube then fold along the ends. It makes a thick hat. But you can use fingering-weight if you want a thin one.
I put a small tan of duct tape on the feet of my machine taping it to the table top.
**tab not tan
Great idea.. I will keep that in mind.. thanks.. 😘
@@SharonLee2600 you can put shelf liner under it to keep it from sliding. It's like a rubber liner that comes in a roll. Cut it to fit under the machine.
Whats one of these machines worth
About $50
What kind of yarn?
I have used a light weight yarn acrylic in this video.
А пряжа какая? Заранее спасибо
Light weight yarn
Is this how all the hats will look like? The knit is so loose. I'd prefer a tighter knit.
Nope, you can control the tension based on your preference.
@@SharonLee2600 OK great. My son wears beanies everyday whether it be winter or Sumner and I'd love to make him some plus I've decided to make gifts this year for Christmas. Money is tight this year so handmade gifts are what the kids & grandkids will be getting. I just ordered one from the sentro website. I saw some on Amazon but a few reviews claimed they got a knockoff so I didn't want to chance it.
How many rows total for an adult?
Around 100 to 120 if you are using light-weight yarns.
I can't get my machine to work right
I wonder why
Idk how to put the pompom
Just make a long tail and Sew them around many times
I’m not trying to be rude, but you’re doing this backwards and harder then it needs to be🎉😂❤
Backwards? I tried the backward when I installed the Aidiler knitting machine but the counter did not work. It stays at 000 and thought it was broken. Thank God it's not.
Um, I'm about half way thru this video and I have a problem. Maybe it's just me but are there more than 2 hands involved here? Cause every now and then it looks like the hands are fitting. Like, one hand grabs the machine and the other hand grabs the first hand and pulls it off. Like, what's going on here?
Ah, it's her son's hand. Mystery solved. Now I may rest.
Pp
This is the most infuriating thing I've ever owned.
Well life is short.. if its making you angry then it might affect your health. Try other machines or hobby. A hobby should be something you love to do.
I went back and tried again. It fell off about halfway through, but it's progress! Thanks for the helpful video.
Machine waste of money!!! Extremely frustrating as I followed different you tube videos and instructions, and used different weights of yarn yet it skipped from the get go...
Well For me it isnt a waste.. coz I was able to make a few beanies and headband and sold them.. some .. I gave as gifts..
your machine sounds bad like its struggling
Maybe it's the audio quality .. sometimes it needs a little fixing..
Dang that was .... Came here to learn but felt like a frustrated mother. I understand the kid wanting to help but for this video maybe not.
I can relate. I struggled a lot in filming this for hours and I couldn't get any help around to care for my kid who has autism. . Single Mom here..
does the machine count the rows for you as you go around, cuz I'd get lost 🥲
yes!
Yes.. as long as its not broken. But theres a digitsl counter you can buy on Amazon
