This is the best tutorial I’ve have found so far on UA-cam so thank you for having it up close so we can actually see what to do to make and use the knitting machine. I now understand how to make a beanie. Thank you again. Take care 💜
First time watching a video of making beanie hats. With that machine. Have to give you props for your video. Very detail instructions and patience with a child near by. Thank you for the video
did my first hat following your video. thank you so much, your work and instructions showing step by step was awesome and you showed me where to stop machine and where the white needles needs to be, other videos had their hands in the way and didn't show the placements as you have. Thank you again, I made a hat!!!!
Im going to share this video with a friend..she doesnt understand using a Sentro. I recieved mine in mail today and honesty i like this machine more than the Addi i watched this to see how many rounds i needed for a beanie. Thank you! ...and cute kid!
I made some for Veterans and they were happy to have them. Light weight yet warm. I'll have to start putting pompoms on them. Thanks so much and your son's little hand was so precious.
Hi! I'm brand new to doing this. Boy do I have a lot of dropped stitches. Well that was first try. I'll do it again. Thank you for your great teaching style!
That’s brilliant thank you so much. I haven’t even had my loom out of the box yet as there are no instructions and it looked far too big for a beanie. Now I understand it makes perfect sense
I've just finished mine, thank you so much for the video ❤️ my machine's counter does not work unfortunately, do I struggled a bit counting but it was still fun and I'm happy with the result. Mine came out with a different color each side 🤩
I received my Sentro last week, too. I made my first beanie yesterday for my husband and 2nd hat today. I am so happy because I've been wanting to do this for 3 years now! ❤😊 Thank you for the tutorial
Oh my goodness that you for doing your video close up when you were casting off . I just got my machine today and it didn't come with instructions. So I've been watching videos all day trying to find someone who has a close up of the cast off . Thank you so much for that . I'm subscribed to your channel now
When you cast off if you crank the white needle past the post then take your needle and take the stiches from the rightside of the post. The way your doing it is on the leftside...if you do it on the rightside and crank slowly the stiches wont pop off to have a dropped stich.
At the end the best way to do it is to start hooking them as you're starting to turn it for the last round instead of fully doing a last round. So that you're not risk and drop in them all while you're trying to attach them. So when you're doing the last round start hooking them off when you have like six through it cuz that will lower your risk of losing one
Thank you so much I have watched so many tuts on this and your video I can actually understand clearly Thank-you for going slowly and explaining clearly. Through your video ( after trying to follow other video instructions failing) I managed to make thee wearable hats. Really appreciate it! I will definitely be watching only your tuts! Keep up the good work!
I just got my machine today. I get about 4 rows and it starts dropping stitches. Got fed up so I just put it in the closet (time out). 😂 I’ll get back on it tomorrow
There is something the people who make these videos dont make clear. In the very beginning when you are casting on the part f the machine that pops up ....are what is called the pins. These hooks are what
The bottom? Its easy you just need to gather the stitches to close. After you're done with the last row. The last part is the one we need to secure while its still on the needles.
Thanks for you demonstration, but cranking 100 rounds for me was A LOT, I ended up cranking 90 and my beanie is huuuuuuuuge! I'm gonna unmake it and try again 🙈
The good thing about redoing it is you don't have to frogged it and rewind. You just need to get the ends and crank it again this time with the exact number of rounds you think is enough. It's really different with other yarns.. I had to use a measuring tape to check if the size is enough.
The hats are always too small for an adult and you can see the stitches stretching when put on. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Tension is medium tension and if I go for the looser tension, I lose stitches. I’ve tried multiple yarns
You shouldn't crank it all the way around after you have finished, in case stitches drop off the machine. Taking the stitches off as you wind, it is a better idea to prevent that from happening as you found out because you had stitches dropped
@@SharonLee2600 OK great. My son wears beanies everyday whether it be winter or Sumner and I'd love to make him some plus I've decided to make gifts this year for Christmas. Money is tight this year so handmade gifts are what the kids & grandkids will be getting. I just ordered one from the sentro website. I saw some on Amazon but a few reviews claimed they got a knockoff so I didn't want to chance it.
Um, I'm about half way thru this video and I have a problem. Maybe it's just me but are there more than 2 hands involved here? Cause every now and then it looks like the hands are fitting. Like, one hand grabs the machine and the other hand grabs the first hand and pulls it off. Like, what's going on here?

I was about to ..but when I tried the fuzzy yarn, it was making a lot of noises so I know the knitting machine struggles with thicker yarn. It can work on some bulky Yarns but the moment you crank it, it's like saying "I might break a needle". 😅 It works great on lightweight yarn..
@@SharonLee2600 Ah ok 😢how thick is your fuzzy yarn? I see on Internet that the machine is made for yarns from 7 to 9 US or 4 to 8 mm on addi guide. The tape yarn I want to use is 5mm so US 8. According to the instructions it should be good?

I got used to doing it on the leftside
Just use some waste yarn at the end and unravel the waste yarn as you do the bind off!

I have the 48 sentro an I love it works very well for me an it was so cheap it paid for it self 100 times over ⚜️thanks for the video✅

Thank you I just got a knitting machine and I am trying to learn how to use it.

Thank you. 100 rows is to small for my big head so I gave it to my sisters child. I will make one to myself, maybe 130 rows?
This is a great video. Thank you for sharing.
Best ever tutorial ❤
Great beginners tutorial. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful!
Ugh idk what I’m doing wrong but it’s works before and now it won’t work. It keeps just losing and not forming stitches
Make sure you place the yarn over and under alternately
Thank you so much for this video I that I was stupid until I seen where the numbers where @
Thank you for the video it helped me a lot you got the right angle and everything
Could you make a video on how to sew the top hole shut please
Its easy just go around the hole to secure
@SharonLee2600 Unfortunately, that answer doesn't explain anything to a beginner who doesn't know what or how to do something 😊

@ yes it is.

Thanks
do you have pattern I could use
Whenever I put it in counterclockwise it just stops after the white peg
Love your video
Ye machine kaha milegi
I love it, thank you ❤
What tension do you use for an adult hat on this 48 pin?
It depends on the yarn... some for fingering-weight yarn, tight tension is the best.
That yarn makes me think of Ramen. ❤
You shouldn't crank it all the way around after you have finished, in case stitches drop off the machine.
Taking the stitches off as you wind, it is a better idea to prevent that from happening as you found out because you had stitches dropped
This...this helped me so much, thanks to
Thanks for the lesson. ,
Is this how all the hats will look like? The knit is so loose. I'd prefer a tighter knit.
Nope, you can control the tension based on your preference.

Thick yarn must make it very much longer. I did 100 rows and I have 2 hats in one.
Oh.. i usually do the tube then fold along the ends. It makes a thick hat. But you can use fingering-weight if you want a thin one.
Ok where online
You can buy a knitting machine like this on eBay, Amazon or any of your favorite online shopping site.
What are you making
Beanie
Whats one of these machines worth
About $50
А пряжа какая? Заранее спасибо
Light weight yarn
how much yarn does one hat take?
About 50 grams
Where did you get the needle from
I bought it online.
Very cool
What kind of yarn?
I have used a light weight yarn acrylic in this video.
Idk how to put the pompom
Just make a long tail and Sew them around many times
How many rows total for an adult?
Around 100 to 120 if you are using light-weight yarns.
Thank you , bless you
