When seeing seams next time, instead of the crochet hook, use the darning needle to pick up the stitches just as you did with the beanie. Just cast a very long tail and thread your needle, and it will give you a very seamless look. Remember to weave in the ends when finished
If you want to make the multicolored yarn to match on the side seams - you can cut and splice the yarn to make it match - it’s time consuming but it produces a perfect match - I did it with a long hooded sleeveless cardigan
My daughter got one as a kid. She didn't want it so i took over and LOVED it! Man i hated losing it when she moved out. She never used it and now it's lost After watching this I think I'll get one for myself!
I just bought my machine last night!!! As a huge crocheter I did try to learn how to knit but just can’t seem to get it down. But always LOVED how sharp the knit stitches look. I am so happy for you!!!!
Same here. I'm a long time crocheter and struggled to learn knitting. The trick for me was to use circular needles so I wasn't dropping needles all the time. Then I just stuck to it until the knitting started to feel natural and automatic. You can do it!
Try continental knitting. You will catch on easier than with the english knitting. I hated dropping the yarn and picking it up again on every stitch ... in continental you never drop it until you get to the end of the row and hold in opposite hand of english. In my case I hold yarn in left hand as I am right handed.
Not sure how it works with smaller yarn but have you tried finger knitting? I feel like it has less wrist movement than regular knitting. I fractured my wrist last year and could barely move it without extreme pain so I 100% understand the frustration. And it was my dominant hand 😩
I had to stop knitting for a while since it was causing joint pain. Now i find that doing it much slower, stretching, and taking break helps me avoid that pain. Dont know if that’ll be helpful for carpal tunnel, but it might help for other type pain.
I am a knitter- and doing that one beanie by hand would take me at least a full day if not several days of constant Work so it is amazing to me that you can do this. Would much prefer to hand knitting.
Yes I love how quick this machine is! obviously doesn't match hand knitting and I think hand knitting or crocheting is more relaxing and enjoyable but this machine is a bit of fun too!
This is gorgeous. Nothing beats the drape of knitted pieces. I got one of these machines a few days ago & I was thinking of mixing the knitted panels with crochet like granny squares, but I haven't got the hang of the machine still.
Many years ago I bought an expensive knitting machine but only used it once as I thought I could just zip up a sweater in a few minutes only to realize that I needed to drop stiches to shape the different panels, LoL The machine you bought looks like really fun to use. Being able to run up a beanie is a few minuets is crazy!! Thanks for the video!!!

This is really old. This has been around for forever. It's been in different iterations, but my grandmother, who was born in 1901, had one. Saying that, it's still very cool.
Got this machine a few months ago. Finally cranked it out to use last weekend and I was sooo stressed with the dropped loops. Happy you showed a quick fix. After a few days I think I’m finally getting the hang of it. First thing is definitely a maxi dress!! Multicolor + wide hips will be mesmerizing 😍

Plus, they're getting your gorgeous smiling face showing us how happy you are with their product,...BONUS!!!! This is the 1st time I've watched you and I've subscribed and set notifications to ALL!! Just a few things you may need to know. Your row counter will probably stop working, you can order one from Amazon. After 6 or seven projects you should take the sentro apart to clean and lubricate it. You can get an adapter to attach to an electric screwdriver and make it work faster, or you can get a motor for it which also makes it faster.
I've been watching videos on this machine the past couple of days, and I LOVE what you made! I can hand knit, and while I do enjoy it, I'm very slow and wind up not finishing things because it starts taking too long. This looks like fun and I'd love to be able to whip up fast beanie hats. I also saw where someone made an extra long tube and at the cinched ends tied faux fur pom poms. It was the cutest scarf.
I am new to knitting but I have been doing crochet for quite some time now. However, after watching this video, i literally order the machine! i was like why didn't i think of this!! This is sooo good! Love it!
Knitting machines look like so much fun. I love knitting and when I worked night shifts I churned out one pair of socks per shift, but certain things are just boring (stockinette panels? Ugh no thank you) and having a machine seems so tempting 😂 Then again, joining panels is literally the worst thing about knitting for me and I avoid stuff that is worked in panels like the plague. I honestly think I'd rather just knit an entire sweater by hand in the round than having to join the panels after machine knitting. ....but I still want to try one.
I am going to have to get myself one of these machines now! That looked so fast and easy I have to try it! I used to crochet, but haven't done so in a long time. I also only knew the granny stitch. I don't watch Tic Toc so this video was the first and only time I ever saw this machine. I shop on Amazon all the time though! I also wanted to say that I too drink my tea the English way with a tiny amount of milk/half&half or creamer. I enjoyed watching this video and I just love how sweet and gentle you appear to be. I will be watching more of your videos too!
Hi! Just found your channel, you have such a cute pink style and I love the way your skirt came out! I've had a knitting machine for a few months now but I've been too scared to switch it to the panel mode and try to make a garment, but this was inspiring! I also recently saw Jenna Phipps use hers to make a twisted bandeau style top, that would go good with a matching skirt :~)
so excited to watch this!! been debating getting one for a while now and finally did! i’m also more of a crocheter but love the look of knit so this is the perfect video for me hehe
It looks so beautiful! You are a very sympathetic person! I am beginner with a sentro machine, i just bought one. I have so much yarn stash and can't wait to knit somewhere with sentro. Thanks for ideas!
Just found your channel. I'm embarrassed to say I bought the small unit over 2 years ago on a whim -I usually crochet -I am inspired to finally open mine😃
Absolutely gorgeous! The skirt pattern reminds me of traditionally-made skirts with solid-color shorter panels on the side. It has an overall slimming effect on the body.
You did great for your first time. I bought a Sentry too, but I'm waiting for the adapter so I can use the drill to crank. I made a beanie, but with my physical limitations, I was in so much pain! But I'm looking forward to making more items. Thank you for sharing your projects with us. 🥰
I have a tiny knitting or crochet thing like this from my childhood. I used it once to make the worlds most uselessly small beanie (probably fits my hand.) I wonder if it has the pannel mode that I could actually use it to make something.
I had a barbie version of this in the early 90's and figured it out without instructuons--everything I ever made eventually unraveled because I didn't bind anything off haha
That knitting machine is pretty cool! I can see why you'd be obsessed with it! At least that machine is getting some use out of it! That's super cool that you can make hats and skirts out of yarn and whatnot! Very well done! Good work!
Wow! I am so impressed. I have a similar machine at home but have not messed with it very much. I am going to try some of these ideas!! Thank you so much for sharing this video with all of us!

I love this so much!! I crochet too and started using a knitting machine last week. I keep thinking about making a knitting machine sweater. This video feels like confirmation to do it.
Omg so awesome. I need to get one of these machines. I love to crochet but I can not knit I have tried so many times and I love the way knitting looks. This is my solution.
Thanks for sharing this video! 🙂 Thinking of getting one for a friend who really enjoys knitting and crocheting, as they've mentioned their joints don't work like they used to, so maybe cranking it will alleviate her discomfort but also allow her to create what she loves. ❤
Firstly, irrelevant to the video, but, gorgeous cheekbones and charming eyes! You're just too cute, and I love your accent! Secondly, I have such a hard time watching younger people make crochet and knitting videos because (not to be rude, but) they so often have this fabricated "I'm so quirky! I do this and that and 'I don't know why', hehehehe" type personality. It's unbearable. Therefore, I pretty much only ever watch older people because their videos are just calming and natural. You're personality is so natural and likable. It's so great to see a young person that can just be themselves on camera. Also, I really want one of these, now. As much as it certainly will take the fun out of crocheting a project, it'll also allow me to complete projects much more rapidly and then put them on my body. Like, I'm currently working on a sweater that I wanted done by the autumn, and I still have another sleeve to start, I'm working on the front panel, and I also want to attach a sailor collar to it. It's already taken me a month (although, admittedly, I have also spent my time working on other projects 😅), and I predict it'll take another month to finish it, with the amount of time I commit to it. I was hoping to have it done by my birthday (October 9th), as a gift to myself, but I'm predicting that I won't make that deadline 😢.
For everyone who wanted a tutorial on how to make the tops, it's here: ua-cam.com/video/09cmSU2gjmg/v-deo.html enjoy 😘

Plus, they're getting your gorgeous smiling face showing us how happy you are with their product,...BONUS!!!! This is the 1st time I've watched you and I've subscribed and set notifications to ALL!! Thanks for your attention to detail and great video making skills.
That skirt is gorgeous!! Also you have such a lovely, calming presence, I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos😊
The skirt turned out AMAZING!! The machine looks like a lot of fun!! :D
Aww thank you!! It's actually soooo much fun haha 💗
I know it's a weird idea and idk if it would work out but I'd love to see you make a cardigan with the machine and the multicolor garn😍
omg I was literally thinking of trying to make a cardigan!!!
This is amazing, and now I want one of these machines! The possibilities are endless.
Off topic I am OBSESSSSED with that purple top you’re wearing 😍
omg thank u! it's a cardigan from nobody's child! 💓
Love the skirt! It would also look super fabulous inside out with the exposed seams! ❤
You are just enabling for me to buy this now. I already have so many looms 😫! Lovely results (and a cute puppy)!
hahaha sorry! but you'll love it!! and hehe thank u 💓

I also recently saw Jenna Phipps use hers to make a twisted bandeau style top, that would go good with a matching skirt :~)
aww thank you for stopping by! omg I love Jenna! She is the reason I bought this machine hehe
Jesus loves you all no matter what he is coming back soon Jesus is king my savior my everything ❤
@@sophia23346 Dear Lord Jesus Christ, please give this Sister some wisdom.
It's how m uch dollars please ?
The machine is how much dollars please?
You are a charming presenter...I love your enthusiasm. Great job!
so excited to watch this!! been debating getting one for a while now and finally did! i’m also more of a crocheter but love the look of knit so this is the perfect video for me hehe
thank you for watching!!! 💗
You're welcome 😊
I loved seeing your progression throughout the video! The yarn you used on the skirt was so beautiful and had a lot of depth! 😊
That looks absolutely fantastic! Heading over to ebay now to look for one.
thank you so much!! I have a link in the description to the one I bought from Amazon too x
This is my wish gift for sure. I knit with needles right now with pain. I think this would be a god send.
I have a tiny knitting or crochet thing like this from my childhood. I used it once to make the worlds most uselessly small beanie (probably fits my hand.) I wonder if it has the pannel mode that I could actually use it to make something.
Update: found the tiny hat, it only fits half my hand.
that's so cute haha a tiny hat!
Good work!
If you want your seams to be less visible look up how to do mattress stitch. It’s not difficult and makes your garments look more neatly put together.
I am amazed by how skirt and omg the pullovers look they fit u so so well 💗💗
you have convinced me !! the skirt looks amazing your body 😍😍! your vibe your tea cup im in love subbed 😘🥰
aww thank you so much!! you'll love the machine 💓
Ok,you don’t need to convince me anymore . I am getting one of these machine 😊😁. Girl the skirt is living life ❤.
instant sub. something about your personality:) very pleasant
thank u so much! means a lot 💓
Wow! I am so impressed. I have a similar machine at home but have not messed with it very much. I am going to try some of these ideas!! Thank you so much for sharing this video with all of us!
yes you should definitely play around with it more! thank you for watching 💗
Immediately bought this machine after seeing your tiktok. I’m hoping that I can catch on as quickly as you did! 😊
We def want to see more videos of your creations! Everything looks great this far!
omg that's so exciting!! you're going to love it!!! and absolutely I'll definitely do more videos on it!!
@@cassrwongI just got it and I’ve been able to successfully make a tube so far! I’m in love and hope you’ll make some tutorials! 😊
@@tigersfunn13 omg amazing news!!! and yes absolutely ill make more tutorials!
I put like just because of the smile you do when you think what you have bought, exactly as I do
Awesome! If you want to have the seams look more invisible, look into matress stitch instead of crocheting for future projects
Oh my gosh that skirt turned out STUNNING! 😍😍😍
ahh thank u!!! 💓
The skirt turned out to be so pretty, also those blouse and beanies. I love it and the shape of the skirt.❤❤
Thanks for sharing this. I can knit and love doing it, just want to cut down the time in multitasking. I've been on the fence about these machines, but I'm warming up to the idea now more than ever.👍🏽👍🏽
Try using the mattress stich to join, which is sewn on the right side and makes the seem invisible.
I should definitely try that next time thank you!
That is amazing to see that knitting machine you have. Thank you for sharing it with everyone. 😊😊
i feel like i found this lil gem of a Channel and im obsessedddd. I was shocked to see you dont have like 1m subs. I love your content and editing style
omg thank you so much you are too kind 💗💗
I love this so much!! I crochet too and started using a knitting machine last week. I keep thinking about making a knitting machine sweater. This video feels like confirmation to do it.
You did a great job using the knitting machine for the first time!
thank you so much!!! I'm so happy with how it turned out 😍
Just bought mine yesterday and after a few false starts I am on the right track. Absolutely brilliant
we NEED a tutorial on how to make that top! you did an amazing job ahhhh
Instant personalized knitted gifts. SO cool!
Hey! I love the Jumper you made with the Machine! Could you make a tutorial on how you did it? That would be great😍
hi!!! yes absolutely I can!! thank you for watching 💕
@@cassrwong great🥰😍
i second this👏
Me too!! Girl you got me seconds away from buying one 😅
@@LunaCat503 hehe do it it's so fun
Omg so awesome. I need to get one of these machines. I love to crochet but I can not knit I have tried so many times and I love the way knitting looks. This is my solution.
Great job for your first attempt. I love my sentro. I have videos on my channel showing how to do cables on it if you are interested 😉
thank you so much! oh wow that's so cool I'll definitely check it out! 💓
You are the most authentically adorable person on the internet today.
Everything turned out soooo cute!! Btw, do you have a link to where I can buy that bedding? Its super pretty :)
aww thank you so much!! and the bedding is from Pretty Little Thing homeware from a while ago but they might have something similar!
@@cassrwong ooo okay thank u!
It came out so beautifully. I can't wait to try it. I'm here for this obsession ♥️
look into a drill adaption so you don't even have to crank it.
Oh wow
omg yes I've seen that! I might have to get it
Thanks for sharing this video! 🙂 Thinking of getting one for a friend who really enjoys knitting and crocheting, as they've mentioned their joints don't work like they used to, so maybe cranking it will alleviate her discomfort but also allow her to create what she loves. ❤
I want that machine too. I have to save money first before buying that magical machine
sure beats actual knitting!thanks for sharing!
3:35 IT IS VERY MUCH AMAZING OMG ITS SO CUTEEEE
The skirt is super gorgeous thank you so very much for sharing this
Your voice and presence is so calming 🥺✨
