    Any help on where to find out how to send midi notes from your daw to your pedal and to the morning star to select songs, stop and play?

    Nice video. Should look at the Airstep Midi controller

      AIRSTEP controllers are great. I don’t have the one you’re referring too, but I do have the AIRSTEP Katana & AIRSTEP Play. Really great devices!

    Hi ! One question, if you read the comments 😂
    The Behringer splitter is supposed to receive mike level hi-impedance signals, isn't it ? The electronic drumkit and your boss gt1000 send line level low-impedance levels. So how do you manage this ? Do you have DI boxes between your line devices and the splitter inputs ?
    Thanks for the answer 😊

    I'm just looking for a video on how to connect in-ear monitors/transmitter on an analog mixer?
    Digital Mixers are way too expensive for us and we're just using regular mixers

    • @DaveWebbMusic
      @DaveWebbMusic  Рік тому +2

      Essentially you need to be able to send a mix to your in ear monitors.
      Whatever monitor outputs your mixer has, including phones, connect that to your in-ear transmitter and you’re set.
      Think of the ears as an on stage monitor speaker.

    How has the reliability of your laptop held up. Any problems with crashes?

    • @DaveWebbMusic
      @DaveWebbMusic  10 місяців тому

      The laptop has been great! Only issue I have had was when the wifi would randomly try to connect to an internet source, sometimes changing completely, and in those moments Ableton would glitch.
      At gigs now I turn wifi off and run an iPad for X-Air, and only have Ableton on the laptop.
      Works a treat.

    I'm using the XR18 also. Do you know how I would get ableton to send CC messages to the headrush pedalboard to change scenes and stomps? I know how to insert a midi track in ableton, I know how to create a midi clip but thats about it. The XR18 is set up with Ableton and works just fine. I can record and all but I can't get Ableton to send CC messages through the XR18 and into the Headrush. I have a midi cable from the XR18 out to the midi IN on the Headrush but cant seem to get it to change automatically when it hits the midi clip. Maybe I just don't have the Headrush set up correctly for this to work? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    HOW DOES X RECIVE MIDI TEMPO FROM ABLETON 4 X DELAYS??

    • @DaveWebbMusic
      @DaveWebbMusic  Рік тому

      As far as I can tell, the XR18 can NOT receive a midi clock for delays. It’s so irritating!
      If you do find something, let me know!! But so far, nothin.

    XR18 is a decent mixer, except for the wifi. They should've left it out it's so bad.
    The USB-C connector, though, like USB itself in the 90s required Apple to bring everyone else forward.

    • @DaveWebbMusic
      @DaveWebbMusic  2 роки тому +1

      The wifi is so bad! I use an Apple wifi thing.
      Overall though it does all I need it to for now.

    Do you experience noise with your MS8000? i've been on the fence with them and im choosing the Art S8s

    • @DaveWebbMusic
      @DaveWebbMusic  Рік тому

      No haven’t had any noise. Only negative feedback would be that 1 input is now stuck with a lead in it, it won’t unclip 😂 but other than that it’s been fine
      The Art S8s will be good, at that price point it’ll be well worth it.

    You don't need to automate the click, there's an easier way to do it. use the follow butten and just write inn the tempo for every song, and save, then you dont need to write in the automations every time you make a new set..

    • @DaveWebbMusic
      @DaveWebbMusic  Рік тому

      I have discovered that since shooting this. Makes things soooo much easier!
      Also found that building a click track for each song helped too. Seems counter intuitive, but personally preferable.
