i dont mean to be so off topic but does anybody know of a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I somehow lost the login password. I love any tricks you can offer me!
AWESOME! I'm opening up the FIRST juice and smoothie bar to help heal my community and show them the key to true HEALTH and WELLNESS! So excited. Thank you for sharing love.
Wow you need to make yourself more known, I have been watching anything and everything on juicing and what its all about over the last two months and your blogs are the best ones out there, so informative ! Thank you for all your info.
I just found your channel and I honestly think you have the best information about juicing. I just bought a Hurom juicer so I can get healthier. I made my first green juice today--lime, cucumber, kale, and pineapple. It's pretty tasty. I hope I can eventually drink a juice that isn't sweet. I'll work up to that. Thanks for all the information!!!
Lauren, love and appreciate your info. It is so helpful and this is the fifth video I watch. But I must say I get dizzy. It would be great if you don’t move as much when talking. Thanks again for sharing the tips and advise
Hi Lauren, I just finished watching all your 19 videos on juicing 101, you are great at teaching us how to juice. Contrats to you and your sister, I'm now your biggest fan. Hello from 🇨🇦.
I just order the nama juicer and i can't wait to receive it. I already have a small aicok masticating juicer which works fine on certain produce but seems not to work very well in juicing pineapples.
I loved how you explained everything. The juice bar I worked for always had us clean the juicer after beet. I wish I knew this method before. They also didn't weight anything lol Now that I am starting my own stand at the farmers Market I am watching all of your videos.
I am looking to open my first juice bar. I never thought to weigh the produce when making juices from home, I always count the amount of apples etc for each juice. I think this way is way better i'll continue watching your videos. Thanks !
You're doing a great job over there. I'm enjoying you videos right here in Lagos, Nigeria! I have some questions to ask; 1. What sweetener do you use? 2. And how have being able to get customers coming to you store to buy your product after relocating to the new store? Thank you very much!
Lots of information. Thanks. What will be the typical shelf life of the packed juice when refrigerated? Does juice needs to be sold the same day or can be sold few days later?
Unfortunately I have a centrifugal juicer so lots of foam. What kind of strainer do you suggest? Any fine mesh strainer will do?? Enjoy all your videos!👍🏼
Jesus girl, stand still. with you moving so much I couldn't watch the video because I was getting dizzy. too bad to because I was looking for something like this..sighs.
Bought the GoodNature M1 for home use after watching all your videos.. Also, Norwalk, Pure and GoodNature are all cold-press juicers.. only difference is that Norwalk and Pure are two stage juicers in which you have to manually put the ground produce under the cold-press.. whereas in Goodnature, the machine does that for you..
Thanks for this great and very helpful video Lauren. I was wondering, are you writing the expiration date on the caps? If so, how do you determine the shelf life? My understanding is 2 or 3 days for raw cold pressed unpasteurized juice. Thanks again for all your work on these videos.
Thanks so much for all your help! I personally enjoyed the moving around (felt more personable rather than some formal, stale tutorial lol) and all the pro tips you gave. Really good information! I’m a beginner. I’ve always loved juice and thought it might be cool to make my own. My boyfriend gifted me the Breville Juice Fountain Plus for Christmas. So I’m just researching some juicing 101 info to get started. I typically enjoy sweeter, fruity juices, but I would like to start incorporating vegetables since I don’t eat them as regularly as I should. Any tips/recipes for combining fruits and vegetables in order to gain the nutrients and vitamins from veggies without sacrificing the sweet flavors of fruits? Also the juice you created at the end with beets, pineapple, and apples...were those 3 separate juices? Or did you combine all 3 of those ingredients to make 1 juice? That sounds like a good combo. I’m getting ready to go to the grocery store now, and I’m thinking that’ll be the first juice I make :)
Girl you're wonderful. You've thought me a lot in less than 10mins. My question Is........is there a way i can achieve a cold press without having a cold press juicer.?..... Eg using a cold water
This may destroy the whole point of juicing lol. But can you add like cocoa powder or sweeteners like that to the juice? And if you can, would you just add it at the end?
Out of your 14 lbs., how do you determine, at least in THIS recipe, which will be your main component? Pineapple or Apple could be your main component. You mentioned that apples could be used as a based, but pineapples do yield a lot as well.
hi! love your videos, so i was just wondering do you keep the beets separate until you bottle them with the apple and pineapple? what exactly was the bottling process? thank you.
How do you juice a red juice then a green juice and not have the red juice taste/color bleed into the green juice? Thats my issue right now. I can’t juice a drink that has pineapple then jump into a green juice because you’ll be able to taste the pineapple from the previous drink.
I need help I started a juice business but I’m not the chef 🧑🍳 I’m the marketing guy left with the business, but also have the business plan on my whiteboard!
we served made to order centrifugal juice on the truck until we could make the jump to a cold press machine.. we used a Zumex people loved watching their juice made in front of them. Hoping to offer that made to order style in the future in addition to our stocked juices
Do you have any suggestions about washing the fruits and vegetables prior to juicing? Do you use just water to wash everything or any other type of veggie wash? Thanks for all your videos!
Pineapple and mango are really squishy.. that’s the best I can describe it. They squish out the press bag, it helps mixing them with a harder veggie like carrots.
You always have to mixed them with harder produce or know how to cut the pineapples properly where you use the core to offset the softness. Mangoes is a different animal, but do just as she said.
Great video! I was wondering about the color conflict you were talking about. Is that just for the look of the juice so it doesn't turn brown? Or is it just not a good idea to juice fruits and veggies with conflicting colors due to the flavors?
Yes, just for the look of the juice. People tend to buy juices that are bright and beautiful! If you’re juicing for yourself or want to make up some specific combo, go for it!
I wouldn't suggest adding sugar to fresh juice. Fruit juice is already sweet. Home juicer would depend on what you'd like to juice primarily. Some juicers are great with greens vs fruits it depends. For greens id say omega horizontal. I just invested in the Tribest Shone for soft fruit so idk yet.
Thanks, I really like your show. I just stumble to this show, because I'M starting a new store and wants it to have a juicer and smoothie corner soon. Looking forward for more.
Lauren, are your labels able to stay on the bottles through the dishwasher? If so, do you still use Lightening Labels? And if not, what process do you use for removing them? Thanks so much😁
Lauren Mattice that is good to know!! You have helped me make so many decisions in this process😁. Thank you for always answering questions and sharing your knowledge💕
The celery and apple are both really high FODMAP so anyone with stomach issues is gonna be in serious pain … cucumbers are low FODMAP… small portions of beets is low FODMAP. So those of us with IBS can’t do it 😩 I’m not sure what other liquid bases there are that are low FODMAP. Also lemons can trigger people who are sensitive to histamines and so can apple cider vinegar. A ton of autoimmune peeps have issues with high FODMAPS soooooooo, I guess I’d have to figure out what people with IBS can actually juice.
We use water and a scrub brush. Health department doesn’t require anything, you can use a little vinegar if you’re looking for a little more aggressive wash.
I'm thinking about getting a masticating juicer. Have you tried blending apples in a high speed blender then pouring that into the juicer? Also, have you used any type of strainer for juices other than mesh bags?
When your moving from one type of juice to another, and not cleaning the machine or switching out the bag, are you not concerned with cross contamination? (I realize this is two years old and you may have changed your process. No shade. I’m sincerely asking.)
Angela Curtis before the truck I made juice in the overflow kitchen of a popcorn shop. Rented from them for $1 a month. Lol. Health dept approved it and all.

Thanks heaps for this very informative video, so helpful 🥰 I do have a question, what’s the process for washing your organic produce ? Only with a brush and water ? Or a bath of water with white vinegar (and how long for) ? Or are you using a specific product, which would be ? If anyone also want to share? Don’t hesitate 🙈😊 Thks in advance 🙏🏼

Try pressing 1.5 lbs instead of 3lbs for pineapples recipe. That's what we do and it works.
I was wondering about the lemon's bitterness with the peel on too! I wonder if it's the cold press that makes it not bitter?
