HondaPro you're the best! I'm very excited about how Honda moves the Accord further into the Premium category... I just took delivery of a 2017 Accord Sport that I am absolutely in love! with and who knows, in a few years I may have to trade (but I doubt it...LOL)...

On the parking break setting. How come I can't do that on the manual trans 1.5 Sport?
I just got the 2018 accord sport 2.0t in platinum white pearl, after owning 6 Honda, this one is by far the best ever, quiet, smooth, powerful and full of standard safety support features, I had gotten many compliments about the car, every one love it, I really enjoy driving the vehicle, great job Honda.

The 2.0T is such a powerful quick engine. I love it. Definitely puts you back in your seat and can squeal the tires haha. Plus it gets decent gas mileage for that power!! Looks so sporty and sexy. I have a 2019 red one, with the black and chrome rims. The sexiest car I've driven by far. LOVE IT!!
Lucky you, here in north dakota, there is little to no options in vehicles so I ended up with a 2019 sport 1.5 so I don't get much of the best features but overall, this car is a beast. Easily the best car I've ever owned.

Love it that you literally get into the boot to check out the space. Now I know how many bodies I can fit in the boot.

With that said, I like the new Accord; it shows promise.

Tide Pod Lover 03 i just got an lx and it does the job for me. only let down is the apple car play but i could install it after market if i really wanted to. touring would definitely be an amazing car. maybe i’ll trade mine in one day
I just bought the 2018 Honda Accord EX and I LOVE IT!!! Thank you SO MUCH for the Tachometer trick!!! It's so weird because I was just thinking, how cool would it be if I could have the Tachometer and other stuff on that side at the same time! THANK YOU!!!

Agreed. I'm confused with all the hate the styling has gotten. It looks very European on the outside and a 2017 Touring parked right next to it suddenly looked very dated by comparison. And I thought the 2017 looked good already!
Wow! I love the info about the tach setting, the parking break adjustment, and the trunk opening. I have watched a lot of Honda Accord 2018 videos but this video covers may topics that I have not seen before. Honda should pay you to do a complete tips and tricks video for the car.
A very well done video Jason; I had written off the Accord because I mistakenly assumed that a 4 cylinder would be noisier at idle than a 6 however you dispelled my concern when you pointed out that the new Accord has an active noise cancellation system; to back that up you gave a good demonstration of how quiet the engine is at idle during a quiet period as you demonstrated the parking brake set and release feature. Wow. We might possibly be purchasing a 2018 and that is a pretty nifty “trick”.
The physical key in the fob is nothing new. But that hidden panel in the corner of the car is pretty dang neat.

Wow that's cool about the tachometer being able to stay on in the background. All the other reviews I've watched of this car have complained that if you want a different display on that side you lose the tach but you're the first I've seen point out the opposite.

Great video as always! I’m a little concerned on where they placed the radar sensor. It doesn’t seem like a very convenient place for those states that require front plates! 😢
Northern Virginia Dashcam Subaru’s eyesight sensor is more conveniently located on the back of the rear view mirror like a dash cam.

Exactly what I was thinking 🤔... surely going to be an issue for the US license plates... however, the European license plates would fit perfectly on the bar above the sensor.

Have a couple of questions that no one seems to address involving the 2018 Accord Sport 2.0: 1) is there a CD player in this auto; and 2) if no CD player, can an Apple iPod Nano be connected and played through Apple Car Play? Or played via Bluetooth? Thanks much for your time. PS: I don't own, use, or need a Smart Phone.

Hondapro you're the best, one thing I want to tell you about honda sensing, I want you to tell to Honda to redesign the sensing in the front of the car, from my experience I have issues with the sensing during driving under snowy and rainy season, the snow sticking up the sensor, because the way honda design sensing housing on the bottom line, honda should make it smooth on the bottom line. So it doesn't hold up all the snow...This issue is make me so frustrated about it.
I wish the upcoming 2018 pilot will have cool techs like the 2018 accord. I changed from the volvo xc90 and Im glad honda is doing very well and i hope similar changes come to the 2018 pilot before i get it in december.
I LIKE the Accord rear end. It reminds me of my Volvo S90 rear, especially the "C" taillights. 90% of people also hate the Volvo rear too, it seems. I don't care that you don't like them. WGAS?

Really? This turbo is smaller and pushing 20psi vs type r 22.something and a bit bigger, where do you get those 80hp or 50hp from?
they just released the Hondata video for the 2.0.....gives it close to 400lbs of torque!!....im bummed i just bought a 17 V6 ......shoulda waited a couple months
Do you have a video on the parking sensor reset? Have 2019 2.0touring and parking sensors don’t work for parking but do for assist driving. Tried restarting them/turning back on but don’t think I did it right from that video

Great review Jason, sadly Honda stopped importing the Euro Accord (Acura TSX) to the UK back in 2014 as most mid size buyers over on this side of the pond are obsessed with German brands.

Nice car lots of cool features! What if the gas door does not open? Happened on a car we own now. Had to pry it back open for fuel and to not be stranded.

Hi, i just purchased a 2020 Accord Touring. My Navigation System is in Meters not Miles. I have tried everything to change it back to miles but no avail. If you can help would greatly appreciate it.
You know I bought the 2.0T 6MT and I figured it would come with cooled seats, but it didn’t. I would’ve got the touring model but they didn’t offer it in a 6MT which was upsetting, but I love my car. I’m going to Hondata flash the ECU soon to get more power out of the turbo.

This new look is starting to grow on me. Didn't like it at first, but certain colors make this new Accord more easy on the eye lol

Best system I've ever personally owned in a car is the 17-speaker Lexicon setup in my Genesis sedan. This system is still incredible almost 8 years later! Also the ML in my old GS350 was pretty epic too.
Honda pro I have the 2018 accord sports 2.0 and it gives me 19.4 either city or highway.. I took it in for check up but they said there’s nothing wrong.. and I have to drive the car up to 5-6k miles before I see the 22-32mpg.. they told I’ve to drive the car more to break it in to see a better gas millage.. is that true..

Great video - I learned several things about the new Accord that I hadn't seen or read anywhere else. Glad to see the Sirius improvements. I think I'll be dumping my '16 Civic for one of these. Do you know if any/all trims have fake engine sounds generated by the stereo? I know that's becoming more common. If so, do you know if it can be disabled?

I own a 2.0t sport and yes you can completely disable the feature in settings which I obviously did day 1so no worries there
very cool. I feel like they should have not hidden the trunk release under that panel. an extra step. valet still cant get in if they don't have the physical key
