Thanks so much Jason. I have a 2021 ex hatch being delivered Wednesday. Any major changes? With all the excitement about the 2022 I can't find a decent video

And I thought I was the biggest Honda enthusiast around 🙌🏽 I think this is epic, and if you have any employment opportunities for a fellow Honda - I always leave the dealer feeling like I’m selling them on my cars!
In the beginning of the video, assuming the story about he guy with the 98 accord is true, it’s amazing that a car salesman didn’t jump on making a sale and instead showed the potential buyer how his current car could work for him. Jason must be a super cool guy!
I was only planning to watch 5 minutes of this video tonight, but it was so interesting that I finished it. Great job! I love all the cool features on my new 2016 Honda Civic EX Aegean Blue!
Wish all sales people were like this. Nowadays they just want to sell you a car and get you off the lot. Fantastic job of this guy. Gotta know your product!
Professional geek. I’ve followed Jason for awhile, but have not seen him in training mode, he has gone serious! A bit different from the video picking up his R type from the Swindon factory. Love Hondas!
Jason The Honda Pro is Great!! I am 76years old and not good at all this new stuff. I watched this video and it helped me sooooo much. I got a 5 minutes lesson from my salesman. When he was finished I was just scratching my head. 😳😁 Thanks you Jason. Tony from MA.
Literally just bought my first Honda today. Came home and was searching YT for videos about the features. Learned a lot from this video. It wasn’t mentioned but I hope most of these features and controls can only be “played with” while the vehicle is in park. Phones are problematic enough these days. We don’t need drivers being even more distracted and crashing because they were trying to change their LCD wallpaper while doing 70 on the interstate.
That's the best presentation I have seen. My rep did'nt even tell me all these features when I bought my civic sports touring. I have this car for last two years and now I learnt the functions after watching this video. Oh man that's funny on my side.
Thank you soooo much for this video and his presentation!!! My sales girl told me nothing about any of this. I didn’t even know how to connect my Bluetooth lol! Seriously, thank you!!!
Hey Jason . If the Civic is similar to the UK Spec then press the lock button on the key fob twice and hold on the second press this lifts the windows and closes the sun roof ;). From Blackpool Honda UK, facebook Blackpool Honda.
When I purchased my 10th gen Civic Touring Coupe, (which I purchased without even a test drive) I ended up showing my sales consultant how all the features worked, having already been “trained” by HPJ. Jason is a rare breed, exemplified by his consultative approach he used with his customer. (“What is the one thing you would change...!”) We can all learn from this.
Dang I just got mine like a week ago. Never knew about that window down feature. Thats a good one. Letting all of that hot air escape before getting in.
A buddy of mine is a salesman at Honda. He took me for a ride in an accord cause I want one. I was telling him things about the car that even he didn’t know about. Told me to be a salesman 😂
Thanks a lot to Jason for doing this video I really appreciate it. You are knowledgeable, kind, professional, funny, even handsome..... I own a 2018 civic Honda exactly like the one in the video. I had learned so much about my car because I watched your video a couple of times. Wish I could learn new tips and secrets from the best and that one is you ..... thanks Jason, from Northern California.

Great video! I just bought this vehicle 2018 for 1.5 L engine but I haven't picked it up yet and your video is is far more descriptive than the sales person would've had the time to take to show me every particular about the Honda sport accord......so thank you. I can refer to this whenever I need to! good job!
It's impossible to tell you how much I did not know about my 2018 Civic. Probably a decent demo when I picked up the new car but there is so much new at that time that you can not remember it all. I've had it for slightly more than a year and still learning things I never knew.
There’s something I forgot to ask. When leaving a window partially opened (NOT realizing you have)will the walk away feature activate itself? I know your able to manually lock the car using the key fob even after a window was left opened. I guess I’m trying to find out if there’s a feature or something that’ll alert me or give me an indication that the walk away lock feature wasn’t activated. Which will force me double check the vehicle. Thanks again for the help.
He said the beeps will indicate that it's going to lock. The second beep locks the doors. If u have it set in the settings it will do it everytime. He had the windows rolled down and it still locked the doors. Not that there is much of a point in them being locked with the windows down. But he says it activates the alarm system so if some tries to go in the alarm will go off

This should be a standard intro for any new Honda owner. I just had a dead battery yesterday and my cables were in the trunk! Great video! Kudos! I still have trouble navigating the display at times and I'm no techie slouch. So after the battery got charged back up my audio is off and I can't figure out how to get it back on. I'll poke into the settings or maybe the system has to reset. But this was super helpful! Videos? Wallpaper? Who knew?

It's crazy because I have a 2019 Honda Civic Si Sedan and none of the salesman told me nothing about this. I was actually irritated that the car "lacked" features but apparently it has certain things and this video is 3 years old and I learned them because of the video.
I’ve learned more on UA-cam than I have from my salesman lol. Something like opening all the windows from the key fob or closing with the key would’ve been nice to know. I’ll probably never use a lot of the features, but damn they would’ve been nice to know. Thanks for the video.

You can easily put the windows and sunroof back up by just double tapping and holding the lock button.. well at least with the Civics that come to Australia we can (I have a Civic RS 2017)
I just bought a Type R this week. There's a lot to learn as far as the electronics suite is concerned. great video.. i read the pamphlet, thought i knew everything... then saw other youtube videos, thought i knew everything... then currently watching this video, sooooo much feature with this car
Fantastic video! I learned a lot of little things about my new 2020 Civic LX. Couple things i'd like to ask; when i set live backgrounds on my display ( the leaves ), it stays that way until i engage / disengage the electric parking brake. As i turn it on / off the live wallpapter is leaves / standard. Second item; i like the idea of being able to walk away and have the car lock ....my car doesn't show that option where you talk about it at the end of the video.
Great video. Love to know how to set car so that the 'auto' setting for climate control is set to 'window and floor'. I live in a cool climate and need a/c on window while car is heating to keep dew and frost from building. In addition I would like to learn how to have the window (front) defrost when the car is remote started. Thanks.
I bought my 2017 Honda Civic EX-T from Reagal Honda "big mistake" they did not show me any of this stuff. Thank you Jason for makiing these videos. By the way the brake hold system works great when you have a stick like I do, it makes incline take offs much easier the car doesn't roll back at all.
Pretty much anywhere you go they won't know all this stuff, he is an example of a salesman that loves his job and goes beyond his job to learn about everything. Most others don't care that much unfortunately. I bought a Honda CR-V recently and they didn't show me any of this stuff either.

Clever engineering from Honda. The presenter goes through all of this so fast that I will have to go through this a several times before I feel comfortable working with the options. Some I will never use though.
Love my hatch 2019 EX. Thanks for sharing. My seller showed me nothing of that. I came to the Honda dealer to buy used hatch BMW 3 GT 2017. After test drive I was disappointed how dated is BMW interior. 2017 looks like 90x. I tried new civic and love it. Civic is twice cheaper than 3GT but inside it feels better.

The three beeps is an indication that the doors did not lock for one reason or another. Possibly there is another key in the car somewhere, or maybe a door was shut when you were out of range, or you got out of range too fast.
I’m new here but I love your videos , you’re so thoughtful and knowledgeable. I would like you to Confirm that for me , if I’m using the break hold , and I have the shift on drive , I took the seatbelt off , It will put the car on park but will it put the shift on park as well or will it stay on D ?
So I’ve been watching your videos which BTW are pretty awesome but theirs something you haven’t covered that I’ve been wondering about. So I have the walk away setting ON which is great, but when exiting my car & walking over to the trunk (unlocking trunk with key fob) the walk away features goes off leaving me no time to reach the actual truck. The feature doesn’t seem to recognize what I’ve Done so the automatic lock beep doesn’t activate itself. There’s also continuous beeping that happens I can’t remember if it’s before I open the trunk or after just not sure what it’s for.
Jason thanks for great info on Honda civic , I have a 2019 honda civic Touring my question is can I expect front windshield defrost when auto starting it ? specially in extreme snow season.
Another cool thing about the screen is that you can upload a photo as your background screen if you go to the clock. I have a picture of my son in the clock (upper) screen in my 2017 Accord.
There was some discussion about choosing a setting to open just the driver door or all 4 doors when the open button on the FOB is pressed. The 2018 Accord Touring opens the driver door with one press on the FOB open button or it will open all 4 doors if you double press the FOB open button.
So great information about honda civic Jason but one thing you have missed to demonstrate is how to release the shifting lever from park when the battery is dead and needs to be push the car aside, hope you would consider this thank you.
Why did you not demonstrate how the navigation system works. I bought a brand new CRV and there is no map icon anywhere. Also, how can iI turn on radio without statring the engine?
Bought 2020 EX Civic Hatchback. You mentioned in the video there is a button to unlock / open the back door. Is there one on the hatchback? Is there another way to open the back door from the dash?
Only thing I thought was odd about my Civic was the seat adjustment, thought it would be a button to use instead of levers. I think only the Touring edition with the leather seats has electric for it.
I just picked up a 2016 EX-L and it has electric adjustable seats. I think the only difference between the EX-L and the Touring as far as the seats are concerned is the Touring also has adjustable lumbar support, which I wish my EX-L had.
I appreciate this guy actually knows the cars. Too many salesmen don’t really know the cars they are selling.

Another cool thing about the screen is that you can upload a photo as your background screen if you go to the clock. I have a picture of my son in the clock (upper) screen in my 2017 Accord.
I own a 2018 Civic. I love my car and this video taught me new things I didn't know. Thank you! Lol
2020 Honda Civic EX trim, how do you work the auto on / off high beams?
"The doors lock at 9 mph my other car didn't do that, I don't want it now"
Rofl who are they selling to??
What if I need to jump out to send it over a cliff 😂
Is there an Easter egg in my 2020 ridgeline? I wish you where my neighbor so that you could show me how to use all those features
Why did you not demonstrate how the navigation system works. I bought a brand new CRV and there is no map icon anywhere. Also, how can iI turn on radio without statring the engine?
Just got mine yesterday. GREAT video! Thanks for the tips
I did not know mt Volvo had a trunk latch until I had it detailed at Rick's!
Thanks for all the wonderful info because I'm soon getting a civic touring. Much appreciated.
Jason, I am trading my 2011 Odyssey for a 2022. Can I download the music from the hard drive to a flashdrive and install or use on the new one?
Unfortunately that is not possible in the Honda system
Great salesman, but the touch screen looks slow and unresponsive. How difficult is it to put a decent touch screen in?
