This is a favorite of mine as far as covers go, and it's hard not to love Heart and Led Zeppelin. Both have amazing music so this was made even more awesome with the occasion it was for.
Ann Wilson enough said!!
First time I saw this, I cried at the end, it was an emotional train ride. I am thrilled that you are discovering this music, the stuff I grew up on. I think I might have had all of Led Zeppelin albums as soon as they came out.
Drinking Game:
Every time she says "You guys...".
;)
Lmao BAWHAHAHA LOL fuckin funny bro. . I know RIGHT
Can you say alcohol poisoning?
Oh hell no, we will end up as John Bonham :/
Tried it on another video last night and ended up in bed by 8:30.
Lol! That's cute! And I don't think I can handle that much alcohol :P
I agree with you completely. It was pretty epic. When the band stands up and gives you a standing ovation, that speaks volumes. I got the goosebumps too. The lyrics are sooo deep that it took me long time to understand the metaphysical meaning behind the words.
If you want another good live cover they've done, check out their version of "Love Reign O'er Me" by The Who.
Yes!
When you get a standing ovation from the original artists, you know you nailed it! WOW!! What a performance. Heart has never disappointed me. Love, love, love these sisters!
Look like Robert was going to shed a tier
EStuder32 Anthony Wayne definitely
It was an amazing honor for Led Zepplin by Heart ❤️
As my husband says, only Heart sings Led Zeppelin better than Led Zeppelin.
It's a great cover but No way are they better. That's not just Heart on stage. You really can't compare them.
@@Coolrockndad Listen to Ann and Nancy Heart's cover of Battle of Evermore
I'll give a close second to Zepparella an all women cover of Zeppelin. ..... I'll listen to Heart's cover of "Battle of Evermore" but you must listen to Zepparella's cover of "When The Levee Breaks". Their lead guitar player is so damn good and not to mention very good looking too. ;-).
Ann and Nancy did a beautiful job....and to have Jason Bonham on drums....Truly Spectacular! What a beautiful way to end the tribute to The Mighty Led Zeppelin 🥰!
Now you need to watch Led Zeppelin perform this live at MSG in 1973. You won’t believe how powerfully they do it with 3 musicians and a vocalist. This is a nice tribute. The drummer is Joh Bonham’s (Bonzo) son playing drums. He and the choir are wearing the Bonzo Bowler Hat. RIP John.
Absolute chills. What a tribute! The LZ band members are smiling ear to ear. Perfection! 💖
Ah, Heart! Love them. The BIGGEST Zeppelin fangirls on the planet! You can hear the Zep influence in their music, especially their first couple of albums. The riff from "Barracuda" could easily have come from Zep's "Presence" period. Great group, great music!
And the great "Mistral Wind".
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame long overdue for these two!
