@@ACraftyConcept Thank you!! I love that you already have a pattern- and I already had his saved to make without realizing. You do a great job with all of the things!
I debated between making a cup cozy or a Mommy and Me messy bun beanie with what was left over from my skein of HL variegated yarn. I couldn’t decide so I made both! Crossing my fingers both sets will sell like pancakes wish me luck! Thank you for your wonderful patterns and excellent tutorials.
thanks for the measurement too - after 32 rows mine was a bit long, so I may have counted the rows wrong! The measurement is great for those with varying tension. Finishing my first one after having it set aside for a few weeks.
Thank you for this tutorial! I’m putting together gifts for people who are helping with my wedding 🤗 I’m giving them Starbucks cups with this cozy and stuffing them 😊
Thank you for this pattern. I had my doubts as to if I could do it but I hate not being able to do something. It's coming out well. I picked up on it easily. It's looking pretty.
@@ACraftyConcept it came out so nice, I decided to keep it for myself! I NEVER do that. I'm making another. Thank you so much. My friends say it's a nice stitch.
Hiiiiiii 🙋♀️ new to your channel, craft, after searching for the way I thought was right like you from top to bottom I have decided to try your style. I don't want the coffee cozy to fall down. 😎 cool also you gave your cozy style
@@kathiepaulk3687 You're welcome to turn it either way you'd like. Ive seen a lot of folks flip them. I wanted the stretchy bit to be at the top because that's where the cup is bigger :)
@@kathiepaulk3687 Oh yes! I can teach you how to crochet something and I can teach you how to sell it lol. But I don't teach how to design. Just not an area that makes me the most happy like the other two are :)
Its been a while since I tried it, but my best guess is it would either fit exactly enough or be slightly too tall. You could just use fewer crochets in the ribbed portion though to make it less tall :)
@@ACraftyConcept I've made two already. I'll hope I remember to tag you when I post them. I also made a beanie using the knowledge I got from this cup cosy
I LOVE, LOVE this cozy❤.. I'm making it today. So excited to try it. So CLASSY looking like a little sweater for a coffee cup. ❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️
Yay! Thank you!
Thank you, love this! Not only will I make some of these but I will adapt this pattern to a hat, it’s so cute!
This pattern was inspired by the hat version :) www.acraftyconcept.com/free-crochet-messy-bun-beanie-pattern/

Once youve made a few and are comfortable with the pattern, about how long does it take you to make one?
Maybe 20 minutes. 30 max
Beautiful work, where do you get the leather coffee queen strap you put on your cozy at? If it’s Amazon can you let me know the link thanks
Hi thank you! Its from Angie and Britt instagram.com/angieandbritt
I love the pattern - did you use worsted weight or sport weight cotton Dishie yarn?
Dishie!
You are the best little teacher!! You need to train others on giving tutorials
You are very kind thank you! Unfortunately I dont teach crochet design but there are a lot of good ones out there! @taylorlynncrochet does!
@@ACraftyConcept I’ve made a couple so far. It seems to be upside down, or is it just me?? I’m putting the rib part on bottom of cup

I don't have cotton yarn can ibuse worseted weight yarn instead.?
Yes you can
Can I use acrylic yarn for this project?
You can :)
Sending Anguiano love ♥️ always
Could you make this open and add a button closure?
Im not sure but you're welcome to play around with it

Hi, would this pattern also fit the smaller cup size which I think is "Tall" please?
Its been a while since I tried it, but my best guess is it would either fit exactly enough or be slightly too tall. You could just use fewer crochets in the ribbed portion though to make it less tall :)
@@ACraftyConcept lovely thanku and good idea 💡 😃
@@kouyate24 Absolutely!
How many yards of yarn do you think each one of these takes to make? BTW I subscribe to your channel😊🌼🌺
Not much at all one skien of probably any yarn brand will be enough.
Hi, I live in France, I would like to know the dimension of this big Mug please ? approximatively...
Im not sure. You might can google "grande Starbucks cups" to find out.
@@ACraftyConcept ok thanks :)
Hey 👋 can I use acrylic yarn to do this?
Hi! Ive seen other people in the community use acrylic!
@@ACraftyConcept I've made two already.
I'll hope I remember to tag you when I post them. I also made a beanie using the knowledge I got from this cup cosy
Can you please tell me where you get your tags for your coffee cozy
Angie and Britt :)
How do you count the rows? Is each hump 2?
I have this same question how do we determine a row
What size yarn is that???
4
Has anyone used acrylic yarn for this?
Yes! I have seen lots of folks use acrylic. Sorry for my late response I was out of town.
I tried it and it didn't fit 🤣🤣 I tried not to be super tight because I'm a tight crocheter. Now it's going to be a new born baby beanie 🙈🙈🙈🤣
lol way to get creative though!!
Mine looks like a beanie too😂. Starting all over 😂
One thing you could try is going up a hook size and see if that makes a difference for you. It’s worked for me on other projects before.
